Cakes by Grace generously donates a day to the second grade at Sierra house elementary to let them explore baking and decorating every year. The cake is amazing as well!

I chose this bakery because my niece used her last year for her reception cake display and because of the great reviews (only a few done). My husband and I met with Grace to describe our unique dream wedding cake. We believed she would and could deliver. First, the communication was poor throughout the experience. I made an appointment to meet to provide exact color choices and important details specific to my DIY caketop and cake design features. My daughter and I drove 2 hours with excitement for this appointment and neither Grace or Elizabeth were present. This caused last minute communication issues. I never got an apology for that but staff told us the owners were off camping that day and Grace said later she never wrote down our appointment. I never got the same person when I did call (using the only number on their business card), and information got misinterpreted. To be specific- my wavy blue water look (to represent Lake Tahoe) with icing came out looking worse than a child’s fingerpainting. Also, the few little clouds were left off. My daughter who witnessed the plan, the communication and the result said she was disappointed and angry for me, and could have done a better job! We expected and trusted in more expertise from professionals and for the exorbitant cost of this cake and it’s delivery. It’s best feature was the cake top my daughter and I spent many hours creating. The 2 stars are for the carrot cake cupcakes we bought separate which are delicious and for the cake showing up at the venue on time. If this business could not deliver our vision (the waves)or did not have time to commit due to their other clients that day, they should have just said no to it all and I would have found another bakery. As it is I am embarrassed and disappointed, and am out $495. I do not recommend this business.

The best tasting and best looking cakes, cupcakes, and frosting. Grace customized our order and flavors to match our style and taste perfectly. They also have the friendliest and most professional staff. Our cupcakes were gone in a blink of an eye at our wedding, and we had enough for every person to eat 4 each.

Grace was incredible! From my cake tasting with my family to the constant communication to get me exactly what I wanted, she was amazing. Even when I was being indecisive she was able to help me decide what was the best option for my day. My cake and mini cupcakes tasted AMAZING and I look forward to eating it in a year. I highly recommend her business to any bride. Cost effective and worth every bite.

I having nothing but amazing things to say about Tahoe Cakes By Grace!! Grace and Elizabeth did an amazing job at our wedding. The tasting with Grace was fabulous!!!! Both Grace and Elizabeth were incredibly helpful and flexible with choosing desserts. I am so glad that I had them come out and do the set too because my table looked absolutely stunning!! I had 85 guests and a 300 piece dessert bar with different tasty treats because well dessert is my favorite so why not go for it, am I right?! Everyone told me that I had perhaps ordered too much however my dessert bar was obliterated at the end of the night. There was nothing left! My husband and I were actually sad because we never got to eat any because my guests were as obsessed as I was at the tasting!!! We were married 2 weeks ago and I am still hearing from my friends and family about the amazing cupcakes, cookies etc. If you love delicious treats I highly recommend Tahoe Cakes By Grace!!!!!!!!!!!! Loved them every step of the way!!!

Grace did an amazing job on a surprise groom cake for my husband! She was really easy to work with and it turned out awesome! It looked great and tasted delicious! I would highly recommend Tahoe Cakes by Grace!!
