Yummy selection of pastries, desserts and treats. They also have breads, grab and go quiche, and a coffee bar with all the usual options. In addition they put out lunch selections, from sandwiches to burgers and wraps. Try the falafel! We'll worth a stop if you're in Carson City.

Great casual and welcoming environment, with quality food, baked goods and service. We ordered a birthday cake, which came out excellent. Unfortunately, while taking it home I ruined the lettering and prop that was on the cake. I came back and they fixed it to look like new with no extra charge. P.s the cake was delicious

Love La bakery's healthy choice of food selections, you can tell they use quality ingredients, very nice atmosphere with a casual seating arrangement, wish there were more restaurants like this, I personally like to go there and have a goat cheese burger well-done before heading off to work for lunch, come check it out

Bought a small cake for my daughter's seventh birthday. Turned out to be the worst ever. The buttercream was way too sweet, the cake was very dry and crumbly and the icing was too thick . Imagine at least 1 and 1/2 inch of very sweet buttercream icing and even thicker filling. Simply unpalatable.Extremely disappointed. Luckily we had a few cup cakes bought from Raley's that saved the day. The cake went straight to trash.

Somewhat hidden off Carson Street this cafe is a quaint find. With a large variety of options you can not only get your favorite cafe bevarage but also a selection of bakery items, breakfast and lunch menu. The cafe has a vast space of seating including a patio. Artisans have items to sell. If you haven't yet discovered this hidden gem. L A. Bakery is far from L.A. a cute quaint C.C cafe. Check it out!

$15 for a grilled cheese and side salad seems a little high. The worse part is the owner is charging you $1.50 convenient fee when order is done online. In my opinion that is just gauging the people that utilize the online feature. Apparently the owner isn’t making enough money on the high priced food. If I submitted order and picked it up. What exactly does the online ordering company do for the $1.50?

It's hard to find vegetarian/vegan options in the area so I've stopped here a few times, salads are fresh, and the vegan minestrone is very flavorful, but for me the pricing, & the amount of food you get doesn't always match up, after this last time going, I most likely won't return unfortunately.

Went there for lunch and luckily got there before the lunch crowd. Had the veggie wrap and uber amazing tomato basil soup. Their soup almost took my breath away! It was that delicious. Next time I'll try something with protein in it. It was a great meal and I'd definitely go back for more. Didn't have any sweets since I'm watching what I eat, but they looked amazing as well.

Loved this place. A wide selection of breakfast options. The bakery selections were almost overwhelming. So much to choose from. We opted for the Orange/cranberry scone and the Apple cinnamon scone. Both were delightful. Not overly crunchy or sweet. I ordered an Americano and it was average. Thanks for providing a large selection of deliciousness!

The owner have thought that I had not been eating for a week! Everything was so good! From the sandwich to the soup all the way to the Cannolo (yes cannolo as an 1 because cannoli is plural! It's an Italian Dessert) Super organic delicious! Will come back next time I am in town!

The food is absolutely delicious, especially their veggie sandwich, however, the last time I went in to the restaurant I had ordered online and they forgot to give me some of my food, and I did not notice until I got to where I was heading because I was in a hurry. I also had to get some one to get one of the pastries for me that I had order because while I waited for my online order to finish I got a few, but the lady at the counter never got it for me and I had to have find someone else to get me the food I payed for. Other than them forgetting my food the food is great and the staff is friendly. I also tried the green tea smotthie for the first time which tasted fantastic, and reminded me of green tea ice cream.

Do not go near this place around lunchtime. Zero parking!!!!! I called an order in in the morning to pick up at 1 when I called to cancel the order she said oh you're four hours late and now you want to cancel they don't even pay attention when they're taking your order poor customer service.

My friend and I were looking for a place to eat quickly but with good food and found this place! So yummy! I got the roast beef sandwich and the way they toasted the bread with garlic mayo (I believe) made it taste so good! Like a roast beef sandwich on garlic bread. If I lived in the area I would visit much more. There was not a large selection of pastries when I visited though.

I visited this place for the first time and the staff was so friendly. I ordered cheese burger which was the best i have ever had.(Grass fed local meat) Owner came with the smile to our table and ask about how everything was? the customer service is great and they care about each customer. '19-7-10: 1st time customer. AMAZING! A must try for everyone, and for sure to bring out-of-town guests like me. Huge coffee, breakfast, & lunch menues (see pix). Multiple, large display cases the width of the counter showcasing a plethora of bakery goodies (see pix). This is a fast-casual dining experience (walk up counter order, then food brought to table). Plenty of indoor seating in two areas, plus a few outdoor tables. The bacon burger menu item I ordered was a quality piece of perfection to behold. ***Note: year-round Art for Compassion mans a small sales niche inside as well (see separate review/pix).

They have wonderful desserts here including cannolis, cookies, and chocolate eclairs! The food is good also. They tend toward a health menu (except for the desserts.) The place is very busy at meal times and is spotlessly clean.

This place has grown so much over the years and has become a staple of Carson City. The husband and wife owners are incredibly sweet, too. It’s a great spot for lunch or breakfast. I’d highly recommend any of their sandwiches or wraps! Plus, it’s the only place in town you’ll find gyros and falafel! This place can be your healthy stop for lunch or your sweet tooth fix — either way it’s one of the best restaurants in Carson City!

Ordered a cake from this man and it was of very very poor quality. The icing was awful, I could not even taste cake, and the fondant was leathery and inedible. Overall I will never order a cake from here again. It was a waste of money. Even with the discount I received. He begged me remove my review and complaint when it wasn't a full 5 stars. The customer service at this business is some if the worst I have ever received. The owners and workers argue with you, they do not try to understand what you are saying and they will not be reasoned with if any issues arise. I beg everyone, to take your money else where and support any other business besides LA Bakery. Other business will do a much better job I guarantee it. DO NOT SUPPORT THIS BUSINESS.

4/15/17 My mother-in-law purchased a apple pie from here. I was very impressed with the little shop when we pulled up. What a small, cute and quaint restaurant. They had a large selection of tasty bakery treats. We purchased the apple pie which looked not only beautiful but tasty too. It had a beautiful crust of cookie cutter flowers that were semi stacked on one another we couldn't wait to try it. I must say it was more beautiful than it was tasty. The crust was far too thick. There was very little fruit inside the pie. The crust was not sweet or flavorful. It made me wonder if the person who made my pie was new at making pies. I don't think I have ever had such a thick pie crust both on top and bottom to where there was little place for filling. The filling when you could pull it out from the crust was flavorful. See my picture of the pie. I saw so many tasty things in the store that I want to go back and try them. As based on my smell and the looks of the other items I think our pie was a fluke.

A modern, food-conscious option in Carson. The prices are good but everything comes a la carte so you have to decide whether you want to sacrifice fries or dollars to get a little variety on your plate. Fast paced with minimal service, easy to zip in and out for lunch and they have online ordering. The tuna melt was divine but I think they put the minestrone soup through a blender giving it the impression of having already been chewed... I wasn't a fan.

I have celiac disease, so finding safe gluten free food is a challenge while I'm travelling. While visiting Carson City I found LA Bakery and was pleasantly surprised at the variety of items that are gluten free - and even better, safe for me! I had a lemon bar, quiche, omelet and potatoes and didnt get sick. Everything was delicious! Staff are really friendly and helpful. I made sure to come back before I left Carson City to get a pirce of carrot cake, a brownie, and a cake pop. Hands down one of the best bakeries I've been to that has options for me.

I absolutely love the Paninis, I seriously have been searching for a good Cheese and Pesto Panini for years! Oh and the Lemon Bar is one of the best I've had (my favorite dessert). I love that I can order online and go pick it up. No waiting in line during the busy lunch rush. I'm so excited to try everything else! I'm so glad I found this place right after moving here. :)
