Food was cold, coffee was cold, gave us the wrong order, waitress didn't seem to care much. Register was broken and the cashier couldn't figure out how to take our money. Fortunately another cashier was coming on shift who could count cash and was nice enough to take care of us.
Have never liked this restaurant chains menu. Food isn't what they show you in the menus. Next to no taste . Seasoning would help .Retrain your chefs on the art of seasoning food and to taste what they make.
The server was alright her hair wasn’t pulled back and it hung over are drinks but she was really nice.we tried to order a blue ribbon 13 dollar stale pie the crumbles had a bad stale taste and it was hard no expectation date on the pie or box. are server walked to the back and the manager woman came back and loudly said whatever the rare steaks where good thow.
Old school place...great food and fast service. Our waiter Randolph was great very friendly!
Never went in 3 weeks ago but I heard from 3 others in my party the pies are the bomb!
Would give a negative star rating could. Service was slowest I've ever experienced. Had people sat across from us and not 10 minutes later they had their food while we waited over 20 minutes for eggs that were sitting under a heat lamp for 5 minutes. Understaffed and over-priced.
Pretty quick for how busy they were food was great and service was kind and very on task
Horrible experience in the evening. Cold food and bad service.
Not good food
Food and service was really great. Will return next time I'm in Laughlin.
Located on Riverwalk in Edgewater Casino in Laughlin, Nevada overlooking the Colorado River. Very generous portions.
Pie was not very good
Baked potatoes dried out steak raw almost
The server needs to learn better customer service. We had to ask him for everything. He even brought burnt toast to my dad. My lunch was good even though my soup was lukewarm. They need new management here!!
We always enjoy going to Coco's for either breakfast or dinner when we visit Laughlin regardless of which hotel we stay at. Saturday night we went for dinner. My husband ordered the grilled cod and i had the shrimp scampi. I had the shrimp scampi previously but this time is was very creamy, which is not really a scampi. If he ordered the 55+ cod for $3 less you get rice. We thought the 55+ price would be a smaller serving so he ordered the regular size. He received a single piece of cod that was not grilled, either baked or broiled, about the size of two fingers. Very disappointing. He didn't want to make a big deal out of it, so he didn't say anything to the waitress. When we paid, there was a cashier and a man behind the register, possibly the manager. I asked about the difference between the prices and the size of the cod serving. He told me that the piece of fish was the same for both, the only difference was the sides. So basically $3 more mashed potatoes instead of rice. He was very dismissive and unconcerned about our questions and comments. No offer of a discount, or pie or even recognition that we were not satisfied with the meal. After he left, the cashier was very nice and wished us a better day. Laughlin has an abundance of restaurants to eat at, we won't be returning to Coco's in the Edgewater anytime soon.
Not very impressive food lacks but staff is nice
Good food and service
Irma is a phenomenal waitress.
Good place to have a bite.
The food was good just took along time to get food &refills in drinks
Lunch was good. They even had a veggie burger. Very good!
Definitely love this place better than Denny's
Good food and good service
Good food friendly staff.
It was really good, service was great too
The food was wonderful. And nice size portions for the price. But the server was slow and seemed very confused.
Well, I don't really know where to start. I'm usually very patient and not picky at all but it all has a limit. By far one of the worst restaurant experiences ever. Once we got seated we were just hit by a terrible smell, we asked for another table but the response was that for our party the only place that could accommodate such large grout was even smellier (first red flag). We were really hungry so we decided to stay, drinks took about 20 min to come out and some of the fountain drinks had a funny taste so we had to return them. After about 45 min first food orders came out. What a disaster, nothing was right, my juicy prime rib gourmet skillet was nothing more than burnt meet and potatoes. To make a long story short, everything but some pasta was uneatable, some dry, other undercooked. We ended up leaving just paying for drinks and a couple dishes, very bad experience.
I was at Cocos when I was in laughlin for my birthday nice place
Friendly staff, have eaten there twice and both times the food has been horrible. Will not be back
Patty was a great waitress. Thank you for serving us at midnight. We appreciate you.
Good selection of fresh doughnuts & good service.
Very friendly staff and quick to take your order and receive your food. Also very clean.
Staying at edgewater went last night paid alot for salmon and cod dinner, cod made my husband sick..cold and nasty not worth the money golden nugget on point
Food was good and service was good
Lawrence is the man. If the service is a little slow, he makes up for it with the great attitude.
I LIKED THE SERVICE AND THE PRICES ARE VERY GOOD THANK YOU I'LL BE BACK
This is down the escalator at the Edgewaster. Typical cafe with their own pies. Food has always been what we ordered and good. Have gluten free also!
Every time I go here ever since it was put inside the Edgewater, the service has sucked. The food is awful. They're too expensive. Not a good spot, it's under an elevator. Does have lots of seating. Pies. Breakfast. Lunch & Dinner. Located inside a casino. After you can go throw your food up on the Riverwalk in Laughlin. Feed the fish and birds haha
Not the best for my 1st time
Was here for over 40 minutes awaiting our order, never came. Our waitress was too busy doing everything but working her tables. We left, won't be coming here again anytime soon!!!
Not bad at all. Enjoyed our breakfast for dinner
Small portions, mediocre food not what they used to be.
Food was good and came quick. Lance was our server and was very attentive. Will definitely come here next time we are in Laughlin.
Wow! Great place with the best waitress service I've ever had; they deserve the best tip you can give. The food was good too!
This place needs to just close. For the price you can go eat at the Pioneer and have much better service, food, and views! I felt so bad for the server because she was covering the whole restaurant and was trying to do it all. She was forgetting stuff and having to take stuff back and check people in and seat them and take orders and bring food out. She was nice but nice doesn't help the fact that everything sucked. The food was horrible and just not even enjoyable or tasty and the price was ridiculous! I seriously could have had a way better meal anywhere but there! Don't waste your time or your money on such a horrible place. They need to just close their doors and quit trying.
Can we give zero stars? First, there was no one at the front counter and no sign saying we should wait to be seated. So as we were seating ourselves the waiter was flustered because we were supposed to wait... We explained there was no sign and he said they were going to get a sign but haven't yet. Speaking of signs. There was a sign advertising smoothies as we walked in so I ordered a smoothie for my drink but he said they don't have any right now. When it was time to place our order I ordered a cinnamon roll partially because it is pictured on the menu and there is also a dessert menu on the table where they are pictured. Guess what? They don't have any. My husband ordered soup and they didn't have any. At that point we should have left but it was late and we had just driven for over 5 hours to get there. Advice for the management: If you don't have something, remove the sign advertising it and / or let patrons know when they are seated. Also, maybe ask your employees to be a little apologetic about it instead of making them feel like they're putting you out by asking for stuff you don't have like they're doing it on purpose. *Update: we called the following morning and we're told they still did not have cinnamon rolls. However, there was a huuuge cinnamon roll at the Pints at the Colorado Belle which I also reviewed in case you're interested.
Good service. Good food. Despite being in a casino, it was remarkably smoke free. I have to say, the staff is certainly attentive to their customers. We never wanted for coffee, creamer, or refills. When our food took more than 10 minutes to get to us, we had apologies for the time...no idea why. Good food takes time. Mistakes are quickly remedied. When they forgot the added sausage in my husband's omelette, they immediately refunded the extra meat charge and gave him a full side order of sausage. Not only will we be returning to the Coco's, we will probably stay at this hotel next time, especially if their restaurants are typical of the service we can expect.
Went to go eat here.. and had 2 tables come up to the register as we were waiting to be sat. 1st wanted to order their food. 2nd wanted to complain about the lack of service. We left before being sat.
Decent breakfast and pretty good service. We would go back.
Service was slow & food portions weren't near as big as the pictures on the menu.
Pretty good I guess staff kind of rude in the Laughlin area
Went here for dessert. Cherry pie was decent. Cheese pie was hard, dry, and obviously very old. My daughter couldn't eat it. I told them when I paid and the response was, "okay". They literally didn't care. I wasn't trying to get it taken of the check or anything.
Good food,great service,decent prices
Food was great and the employees were awesome.
Great food and service
Foods ok service is poor
Food was cook on dirty grill. Will not go back.
Food sucks service was worse
Unfortunately I cannot comment on the food. We waited at the entrance for a bit. We didn't see anyone and there was no sign that indicated wait to be seated. We walked in found a table that had table services on it. Seeing other people that had food waited a while. Stood up in case they didn't see us. A couple of people walked by avoiding eye contact. After some time we walked out I found another restaurant where they would actually reach you and wait on you. We are now at the Loading Dock waiting for a meal to be served
The place is older and run down. Our booth had dilapidated seat areas. We had a view of the river which would of been nice except for the amount of bugs crawling outside the window. Our food was good and everything looked like the menu images. Our service was efficient and nice. My one pet peeve was the light smell of mildew in the air.
MMMM LOVE THAT PLACE ONE TIME I HAD A GRILLED CHEESE SANDWICH IT TOOK ME TO MY OLD SCHOOL DAYS SOOOO DELICIOUS
Ordered an asian salad. They brought salad and told me they dont have dressing. I would have had a different salad. Food was just OK at best. And the waitress was mad or something that we were there to eat.
Exceptional customer service, prompt service, great tasting food and pretty decent prices.
Help was nice and attentive. Food was good for the price.
The food was amazing however the hostess was rather biased 2 of us wanted to sit by the window but she refused because it was a 4 setting table...there was one man sitting at a 4 person table only drinking coffee!!! He didn't even eat!!!
Worst place on the river to eat waited an hour to get food and when it came out 2 outta the 3 plates where wrong had to listen to the cooks in the bk fighting with each other found green onions in my butter that was going on my French toast.Beware of this restaurant it's by far the worst place to eat on the river.
Great pies nice place to eat
Okay, so like, I haven't had their food....so let's review anyway. Like a conspiracy theory, I have nothing to go off of, save what I think I know. Their food, boy oh boy their food, so freshly made, imagine the any food from anime, and how it looks good, but it's not, It just looks good, that's their food. (P.S. Don't Naruto run to your table, I know it sounds cool, but trust me, it makes the staff really envious of the dank aura you're giving off. Dont give them a reason to spit in their already not that great food) The customer service was just as good as sitting on santas lap, you tell them what you want only to be disappointed later on, but on occasion you get what you wanted. It's really hit or miss (I guess they never miss, huh?) I requested to speak the manager, only to find out that I already was.(Gonna switch to 1st person perspective, please for the love of God, Mrs.Johnson, dont let this harm my grade, I'm only doing this to prove a point....m-my mother is very proud of me) "Nani?!" I say in shock. The manager pulls out her blue eyes white dragon. "My dear sweet customer, I am the backbone of this restaurant, you may make my paycheck, but I keep this this place running! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" Knowing full well, I stand very little chance, I pull of two cards out of my deck, the first of which was exactly the card i needed. "Hehe, well well. Fortune blows in the wind, and it today it blows my way. I summon the monster, ... BLUE EYES WHITE PRIVILEGE!" "Please kid, what's that supposed to do to me? You're in my restaurant, remember?" The manager boast. You see, this monster normally negates 3rd world attacks, however, we doubled with a special card (my Yugioh is rusty....and I never played, bear with me) it can take out even oppressive 1st world threats. With that said, I play the trap card,...THE CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT!" The manager is shocked. "N-no, it can't be....th-thats....too....much...power" I deal 150k points of damage, and win the encounter. As I leave, she bows "Before I leave, she kneels and asks "Before you go, may I ask your name?" I pause and answer "Hugh Jarse" The name scars her memory never forgetting it. To this day, when ever I return, I am given sub-par C.S. and average tasting food. Anyways, um...if you couldn't tell....don't take this seriously, it's all for fun.
Good chicken fried steak
Probably going to have lunch or dinner here again this week. Always good food.
Food was great....however the service sucked. After we got our meal, we never saw our server again. We had to ask for our check at the counter after 20 min of waiting. We were one of maybe 3 tables in the whole place. Had to ask the manager for a refill of our drinks. Horrible horrible service.
Very nice atmosphere
This Coco's Bakery is located and the Edgewater Hotel, the staff is friendly the food is good and the pies are out of this world. Nice and relaxing atmosphere, when you're done you go upstairs to gamble. After that don't forget to walk the boardwalk beautiful sites nice and relaxing.
If you haven't been here, make it a point to do so you're not going to be disappointed.
I had a hamburger it was rather good but my mom had a prime rib which she's been good money for and it was way overcooked 2 x 2 thickness it should have been was it very good
Awful place . food is old and dry. Took forever to be served and the food was nasty. This place is the worst I've seen. It's empty. It stinks!!. Fish looks like the one from the Colorado casino also stinks.
Good food, slow service
Food was delicious but the wait is a long time
We ordered a bacon cheeseburger and a chef salad to go. We wanted to eat in our hotel room and just relax. I asked that the chef salad not include blue cheese crumbles. That didnt happen. But the best part was my husbands bacon cheeseburger had no hamburger. Hamburger patty completely missing. How do you miss that? This is the second time trying this location and the last. Not sure what's going on there but honestly dont care. Just avoid this place and spend your money elsewhere
Food was tasteless, service was slow. I won't be back.
Just left cocos, and wouldn't ever go back. Somehow they managed to make a burger, no bigger than a shingle, cooked on one side, and raw on the other 1/16 of an inch. I thought the French fries, obviously frozen, and not even seperated, but definitely overcooked, were bad, til I got the worse burger I ever ate. All for a ridiculous $15, just to prove they have no shame. No need to prove it, the food did that.STAY AWAY !!
Packed and smelled way to strong of cigarette smoke (gross) but the food was delicious as always.
Nasty, not fresh at all
Foods ok service could be faster butvtgeir all pretty froendly
4/5/19, 1:00am. Service was poor and food was even worse. Greek feta salad lettuce - the spring mix was wilted and old, the iceburg was yellow and frozen. Chicken on the salad tasted so wrong i wouldnt dare eat another bite for fear of food poisoning. Asked server about gluten free options before ordering, she was clueless about gluten and the menu. As if she knew my salad was bad, avoided my table after meal was served. Not even to bring the bill.
Good comfort food and a great staff. Superior service!
Wonderful food good price fast service. Waiters were friendly and helpful!
Good food.
Good breakfast.
This is a regular Coco's. It is good for a quick meal and prices are reasonable.
Waitress and staff were friendly and went beyond to be accommodating... This is how cocos should be run
Good food. Our server was very nice.
Very good food, nice and fast series.
Table service was the worst. It took forever to put in our orders. Waited almost as long to get a refill on a drink. Didn't bother asking for another. The restaurant was practically empty, and yet it seemed like it was packed. Customer service was very poor.
It's very dark in there and it smelled like booty. It seems very outdated, all the tables are old and damaged. I've been to other coco's In California, and this one's food quality is lacking
Good cheeseburger & excellent service!
Just awesome
The service was bad.
Need to hire more ppl. The staff is over worked. They did a great job but had to run from one table to another to keep up. Obvious failure of management to correctly staff the restaurant. Food was excellent. I just felt bad for the staff.
Coffee was good and the pastries were delicious
Love the food and service
Pretty consistent from restaurant to restaurant. Food is ok but the pies are better.
Good food and friendly servers but the wait time was way too long
Was a great place to eat until a few months ago. Now they can't get anything right in your order and food not cooked properly.
We sat for 16 minutes and no server in sight ,so we decided to leave...
Breakfast was amazing.
No gluten free pancakes, I made the rest of our party come here so I could eat and I am the only one NOT eating because they are out of gluten fee pancakes
We were visiting this week end went for dinner was not a very good experience we waited over 25 minutes before waiter came and took our order then it took another 25 to get our order. We were about to leave before food arrived even after I had asked the waitress to expedite our order since we had already waited so long I also told her we were about to leave since no one had come to take our order I expected to at least be offered some kind of a discount for the bad service we got. The answer I got from waitress was ok. I didn't know you were waiting. That is an inappropriate response because it was not that busy and her job is to service the customer therefore she was not concerned about customer service. This will be the last time we eat there.. food was not good as well I left most of my food bread was burnt there were no shrimp on my pasta there was not taste to food
They should just close if they are not fully equipped to attend to customers. Waited 15 minutes to be seated. Informed only 3 servers and behind me was a long line of people waiting to be seated. Ordered Salad- Produce did not arrive this morning ice cream- ran out pie- Don't have anymore Servers not available for refills and long wait to place order. I asked for a Chinese Salad - The produce did not arrive
Great menu and amazing bakery. A go to place for locals when the holidays come around for pumpkin pies!
Ok but some of the menu is not available after 10pm
Food fresh, restaurant clean and service. Sorry Coco's is leaving California
Where to start!! The place smelled like a sewer, and there were flies around our table. The sprite taste like chlorine water. The food was bad it looked like they just heat up yesterday’s food. Out of all the food we order we only kept the kids food because they were already eating it and they were hungry. We had to walk out of there. The server was really Nice and apologized many times for the inconvenience.
The service is only good because of Irma, but you can never count on an order being the same twice. The steaks are always cooked differently no matter how you order it. Sides can vary; for example, a side of vegetables could be broccoli or mixed vegetables or squash. One time, I only received cooked carrots. The plates do not come out looking presentable for the price you pay. Lastly, they hardly ever have pies made, if any decent ones at all. Enjoy! Irma needs a raise.
after waiting 10 minutes to get into a dead cocos we were sat far in the back, seats were ripped open and dirty, I noticed the light hanging above me was crooked, that was because it was being pulled by multiple spider webs, not to mention the flat soda delivered by a toothless disgusting bus boy who barely spoke English. stay away, far away
It's really a hit-and-miss location sometimes the food taste fresh and good other times it's not that great. I like getting the croissant turkey and avocado sandwich and the last time I got it fixed turkey tastes like it has been frozen and studied the lettuce and it was wilting. But there are other times where it's spot-on.
Breakfast was amazing! Highly Recommend.
If you want to eat for free late night go here! These morons don’t put anyone at the register. The service was awful and they only had one pie of 20 on the seasonal list. Coco’s should consider themselves lucky that I even paid since they didn’t have any staff at the register or even in the entire restaurant for 6 min while I was standing there waiting to pay. Don’t worry your cameras saw me counting out money and leaving it behind the register counter... Get your act together!!!!
spagetti isnt hot its a little cold and i askef for a soft drink didnt get it...
The service was good, the food came quickly enough and it was tasty enough. Nothing to write home about but I would eat there again.
Very good an tasty I like that they honored my dad he is Vietnam vet
We went here last minute for brunch, and it just just a let down. I got the Prime rib Hash, which had carne asada meat instead of prime rib. It was very dry and not worth the little extra I paid for it. Our waiter was very sweet and he made the e experience a little better.
Horrible service food was over cooked
Toughest prime rib what happened
Best burger in laughlin
Had a no sugar
We ate here a couple times while staying at the Edgewater Hotel in Laughlin. Very nice wait staff but they were under staffed and definitely needed more help. The food was ok but the coffee was amazing!
Slow service waiting to ask for table, had to wait for someone to come to resister to be able to pay, food was good and waitress and order fast once hostess and cashier finally showed up
After eating Cocos I and a puking all night and so did my wife 5 thumbs down
Great service and food
Services was fair but food goid
Always great food! It's a bit of a wait but worth it
Wow just wow wait 12 minutes one ever even siad hell........ Until a employee walk by and said I'm off i worked the over night shift and just keeps walking....... Are you kidding me........ What a way to take care of the customer........ I will never come back....
Ordered BLT to go Bread burnt on 1 side 1 slice of bacon in pieces And Turkey crumbs lettuce wilted
Waited in line forever Finally seated behind a column. Waited over an hour for our food meanwhile, the waiters and waitresses were literally running around serving water and bread. When my prime rib arrived it was cold and 50% fat. We arrived at 6:00 and left shortly after receiving our food approximately 7:20. I was terribly disappointed with coco's. We had plans to be somewhere at 8:00.
The water was undrinkable yet they wanted to charge for bottled water. No soda machine sp $3 per can of soda no refills no ice. No discounts. Half menu. Crazy
Could be better, could be worse
Breakfast is always good .Late night .... I have had hit and miss meals
We live in Las Vegas and our Coco's closed. It was a favorite of ours, especially after Church on Sunday. This one in Laughlin, Nv was inside Riverside Hotel, and service was good, food pretty much the same as I remembered. Family friendly
Mouth watering
Server was rude. Waited 10 min. before server even walked by. Said she be right with us. 5 minutes later she walked by saying that she will get to us when she get to us - can be 10 or 15 min. She didn’t seem in a hurry (had time to chat with co-workers). After that remark we just left. So did two of her other tables that she didn’t even acknowledge.
Allllrighty
I really enjoyed them this time around
Eat here a lot. Great food and prices
Good food good service
I came in with my family for my father in law's birthday. we were seated quickly enough, and ordered our drinks soon after. however, after our drinks were ordered and one of us asked what the soup of the day was, we waited another ten minutes to get drinks and the question answered. When we got the drinks, mine was wrong, but it wasn't a huge deal. When we ordered, our waitress took my father in law's order wrong and I had to raise my voice to get her attention to correct it, after he had already tried to do so once. It wasn't that busy or loud in the restaurant. When we got our food, another 20 minutes later, my FiL's steak was over done and dry, my burger was wrong, and I was tired of dealing with it. I asked her to just take my burger off the bill and just charge me for the fries. Avoid this place. There's an In-n-Out across the street, and the burgers are better than the steak, they don't get your order wrong, and you'll pay a third of what you'll pay at Coco's.
Wish we had one here. Love their pies and miss having them around. Great food....
Had breakfast , lunch and dinner there during our stay...food, selection and service was very good
