I went there for the first time yesterday with my nephew. It was wonderful!! The coffee was smooth and non acidic. It didn't make my stomach upset like happens when we go to Starstruck's. They also have yummy goodies to go along with your coffee, everything from a simple sugar cookies to quiche.

I never write negative reviews, especially to locally owned businesses. We purchased 2 cakes for our 2 daughters' birthdays. We were pleased with 1 of the cakes but the 2nd cake was not what we had expected. Rather than try and make things right, I was told that the price was the same for both cakes. Criticism was not welcomed. Price was NOT worth it!!!!! Side note, I included the girl's names and ages in the email and none of that information was put on or around the cake. Be very specific with your order!!!!

Visited on a cold rainy day and found the atmosphere warm and inviting. It's a very picturesque bakery and they have a lot of different treats to choose from. The girlfriend and I tried the shortbread cookies, the ham and veggie stratas, the bear claw, and 2 lattes. Don't judge us too harshly, we were shopping on empty stomachs... The cookies were not too sweet and just dry enough (as shortbread cookies should be), though I prefer mine a bit more buttery. We both thought the stratas were good though they were very light and not too filling. The lattes were just okay. We're big coffee drinkers in our house and we felt the drink was a little weak for us. Overall, the food was good and we'd go back again!

Love!! Quiet, charming atmosphere. Coffee and sweets are superb. They have kids baking camps, cake decorating classes. Coffee is Reboot roasting based from Bellevue. Retail bags sold here. Wonderful products and service. They just opened in September. Have dairy free and vegan options. All made on premises.

Gluten free and vegan options at Whisk + Measure are a mix between subpar and terrible. When I wrote them to express my concern, they stood by their recipes. We ordered donuts, coffee cake, chocolate chip cookies, and a blueberry muffin. They offered for me to come back to try another batch of cookies (or a refund for just those), but all of the other items they had no issue with. So, I feel compelled to write a review and allow others to have a heads up - Don’t waste your money here! There are several other places in Omaha who have GF DF/V baked goods with good taste and texture, but unfortunately Whisk and Measure is unapologetically selling items to the public that would not even pass in my personal kitchen.

As someone who lives in a smaller town, there's not a lot of options for gluten free/gluten friendly needs. I was pleasantly surprised at the options and everything looks delicious. The woman who helped me was incredibly friendly and, in hearing it is my birthday tomorrow, had a couple of gluten free cupcakes on hand too.

I really enjoy Whisk and Measure for a bunch of reasons. 1. They use Reboot Roasting Coffee, which is local and very good. 2. They offer a wide-selection of tasty baked goods, including vegan and paleo options. 3. Their offering of cake and cookie decorating classes drives home the idea that they do love baking. 4. The staff seems to genuinely enjoy working there and always make me feel like they appreciate my business. 5. The shop itself is well-decorated and inviting. Coffee shops in the surrounding area don't come close. No complaints. I love having a coffee shop I enjoy so close to where I live.

This place gets a one because they appear to be clean, but one never knows. They certainly can not get an oder for a cake right. I ordered A WHITE CAKE , I got a cake appears to have been baked with whole wheat flour, several days old and possibly been frozen. It was very dry. The strawberry filling was almost not there And did not go to the edge of the cake. I guess the frosting was so thick as to make the cake appear fresh. There was so MUCH frosting it was gaggy. Be careful when you order from here that they really know what you want and can do it or to honest with you a say they can not. When I complained to them, they offered a discount on my next cake. Why would I want a next cake?

One our favorite bakeries in Omaha! Love the variety of baked goods they have. Because of that, we chose them for our wedding. They did not disappoint! The cake was the most deliciously dense, moist wedding cake I've ever had. We had three different flavors, and they were all equally amazing. Can't wait to order another cake from there very soon!

*** Update - after seeing my review they did offer a discount on a future order.*** Ordered a cake on short notice and they kindly made my order which was awesome and is why im giving 3 stars. Unfortunately the cake batter was poorly mixed and was full of pockets of pure flour. Quite nasty to bite into. I sent them pics and they did apologize but didn't go beyond that. They didn't offer to bake another one properly or offer a refund or even a discount. Usually you go to a specialty store for professional results and if the professional screws up they try to make it right.

Excellent new bakery and coffeeshop in (surprisingly!) West Omaha. You have to know it's there to find it, but it's worth the look. Good coffee, excellent sweets, good atmosphere -- this hits the coffeeshop spot on all three. Their carrot cake is outstanding. Not outstanding are the prices -- I think they're too high on the drinks and sweets. They have a full bakery with custom cakes and other treats. Overall quite nice, just a little heavy on the wallet.

This place was amazing hands down! I am lactose intolerant and really wanted to be able to enjoy my wedding cake on my wedding day. Whisk made my cake completely vegan. A buttercream vanilla white cake. You couldn't even tell it was Vegan it was so sweet and moist. I recieved numerous compliments on the cake. From the design to the flavor. Tasting also included many other options as well if you don't want white. The whole thing was outstanding. Was more than I could ever ask for! Highly reccomend and would use again for any event or just a tasty treat. Thank you Whisk and Measure you did a fantastic job!

We love Whisk + Measure! A perfect place to grab a coffee and pastry and their cakes and specialty cheesecakes are the best I've ever tried. They always have a delicious featured coffee drink of the month (churro latte, cake batter latte, rosemary latte) and I've made a point to try them all and none have disappointed. They make their coffee syrups in house and use a local roaster for their coffee and it makes all the difference. They also have awesome workshops for adults and kids, plus fun ice cream sundae pop ups with a local creamery! The seating area is cozy and comfortable whether you're alone or in a group. My kids and I go almost weekly to get a sweet treat. So glad I stumbled on this great locally owned business!

Visiting from out of town and saw this place nearby. It was super cute and I like the ambience inside. Employees were really nice. I got a pecan toffee scone that was really good and a mocha. Was a little sad it was in a paper cup without latte art on top, but it was still good. I would definitely check this place out! Wish I wasn't so far from home so I could have tried other offerings like apple pie bars and mixed berry bread pudding. Plus lots of keto, paleo and vegan options as well which I was impressed with!

I wanted something special for my son's first birthday and all the reviews online were great so I thought we'd give them a try. The cookies and bars I have tried were fantastic but I could not be more disappointed with the cake. The confetti cake was so dry it crumbled as soon as we cut into it and the chocolate cake was so heavy it tasted rubbery. We had just enough cake for our guests but there was so much left over I tried sending it home in to go boxes but nobody wanted to take it. We had friends and family drive from 3 different states to celebrate our son and have birthday cake and I was embarrassed by what I offered them. The staff I worked with could not have been nicer and the treats I took home couldn't be better which is why I am giving 3 stars instead of 1.

I visit here regularly for coffee meetings with friends, prospects and clients. Great atmosphere, friendly staff and they have some good coffee with sweet treats for special diets. My only complaint is when it's full the sound is very boomy. I can tell they tried to minimize that with ceiling decor, but it is what it is. Definitely doesn't keep me from visiting at least twice a month.

I've wanted to try this place for a while now and hadn't gotten around to it as it's across town from where I live. As it happens, a networking event last week ended up being right across the street from W&M's shop. They close at 5 and I walked in right at 4:50. The ladies were so warm and pleasant and I ended up purchasing the most delicious vegan chocolate doughnut! Being new to the dairy-free world, it was so fun to have treat options to pick from. It didn't feel like I was inconveniencing them with my dietary restrictions, and the whole experience was just fantastic. 10/10 would recommend and I will absolutely be returning in the future!

Cute little corner bakery and coffee shop on one of the most traveled intersections in Omaha. If you need a quick escape from the world, this is a great place to duck into. They offer a wide selection of delicious treats, and the widest variety of Paleo, Vegan, and Gluten Free options I've found to date. I've yet to try something here that left me wanting more. There was a slight snafu this morning, when I stopped in to pick-up the order I'd placed earlier this week. After spending several minutes on the phone ordering an assortment of things, my order was not ready upon the agreed upon time - there was actually no record of my order at all. But, they had plenty of treats to accommodate my original order, I just had to wait a few extra minutes.

They also always have a syrup of the month which is always something fun and different, keeps me coming back! Stop here before Saturday errands or on the way to the office!

The vegan cake I ordered for my wife's birthday looked great when I picked it up. But, when I got home, the message on the cake was illegible, as they used a small box to cover the cake. By the time I got home the the top of the cake was smushed by the upper part of the box. I wish they would have taken measures to prevent this. Separately, the vegan cookies that we ordered for my son's birthday were quite brittle and barely edible. But, the cupcakes and the cake were outstanding.

My favorite Omaha— and perhaps, just in my experience, US— coffee shop. Not only are the employees exceptionally friendly, helpful, and timely, but my first impression upon walking in was that of being quite impressed by its modern but rustic and cute decor. I wish that all coffee shops made their own syrups like this one. I recommend the rosemary— yes, rosemary— latte. I typically like to test out different coffee shops but I couldn't but help to stop by Whisk and Measure twice (and surely more visits to come)! My only complaint is that I wish they had more comfortable seating for when I wish to stay longer and work or read.
