LOVE this bakery! I have a dairy, egg and soy allergy and they offer some vegan options! The avocado brownies and chocolate cake are both delicious and quench your sweet tooth craving.

A very nice bakery, lovely scenery. I still need to try more of their menu but what I had was good. Next time I plan to sit down and enjoy the shop, because they really do a nice job keeping the sitting area looking lovely.

True to its name and stigma, The Rabbit Hole is a great place for more tea, coffee, and impressive selection of cocktails or wine. I ate a strawberry moist cake and white chocolate brownie. Both baked goods were well balanced, smooth, and catered to my sweet tooth. The frosting on the strawberry cake was delicious, and I am not one for frosting. Neither too sweet or light, the frosting complimented the cake well. The brownie was rich in flavors. The best part was the dynamic between its chewy inside to the crispier outside. I paired my baked goods with their house blend that led me to enjoy their wonderland atmosphere. The ambiance was relaxed, soothing, and free of the hustle and bustle the Haymarket tends to have. The eclectic decore had me waiting for the Mad Hatter. Thanks to Amanda and the crew in back for such a wonderful brunch and a homey experience!

This place is the best! Chill atmosphere, great selection of desserts, excellent service. The baker is incredibly talented with her decorating and recipes, and the staff is always friendly. My wife and I frequent The Rabbit Hole on dates, and are never disappointed. I recommend the apple cinnamon cake, or the chocolate mousse!

Although we were offered a full refund, the cake we ordered was rather dismal and it was for our son's third birthday party. Ergo, with the refund and offer to give them a chance to make it up to us, the moment had passed and was irreplaceable. We were initially charged $50.00 for a cake that could have been better made at HyVee and for about $20.00. The cake was so bad that even our son (who LOVES cake and frosting) pushed it away. All of our guests took a bite or two and then focused on the ice-cream. My wife who is a bit of a connoisseur of Butter Cream frosting, just about gagged at the first bite. It had a chemical (almost plastic) taste to it and was heavy on sodium(?). I cannot recommend this 'bakery' at all. One positive point is that the baker did do and excellent job with the decorative frosting...inedible but looked great.

Going down the rabbit hole is an absolute must if you live and/or visit Lincoln. You literally walk downstairs into a place with a wonderfully executed Alice in Wonderland theme. They have also created a new concept of pairing cocktails with desserts, which is brilliant.

The place is much bigger than I expected with probably 10-15 tables spread out. I had an awesome raspberry cream puff and my wife really liked her pecan coffee cake. I'll definitely be in again

They did an excellent job making cheesecake and a small traditional cake for our wedding. Many of our guests commented on the high quality of the cheesecake, and several of my local friends who got to try the cake told me later that as a result they had gone to try other things. Absolutely the best cheesecake in Lincoln.

Visiting Lincoln from out of town and on a Sunday, I was delighted to find an open bakery. It appeared one, maybe two parties were using the place as their venue, so table seating was scarce. Even so, my husband and I shared a slice of carrot cake I wanted to linger over, it was so good. But, I couldn’t; I wouldn’t have gotten my fair share.

I loved the vibe of the place, along with how it was decorated- a really nice aesthetic and theme. The desserts were decent, could be improved- I got strawberry macarons, vanilla cream puff, and a red velvet cake. I also loved the customer service, she was really nice and friendly and nicely explained what was on the menu for me, the white orchid tea was also really good and had a really pleasant aroma. Would definitely visit again!

Nice quiet place with a little library section inside. Lady behind the counter was courteous and helpful. The bathroom was clean which was nice after a long drive out there. Price was only downside but it's got to make money to thrive. The greatest tiny macaroon, yum.

Such a cute little place. Tucked under a restaurant downtown. Dont blink, you'll miss it! The Alice in Wonderland theme is done perfectly! I could have ordered everything on the menu to be honest but we went with macroons and cake pops. They also do custom wedding cakes. I'm excited to go back!

It's like a whole other world. Love the atmosphere this place sets when you walk in. There's alot of decorations that will make your eyes wonder. The place is very roomy and inviting. The bakery selection of sweets is very wide and tasty. Had a good experience, will be back soon.

Cool name for it's really in the base of the building and makes you feel like you run into the rabbit hole! Both the puff and macaroni are delicious! The Mumm Brut Champagne is still one of my favorite brand; only $8 for a glass. If you like a quiet place for some tea or coffee or a drink, this is the place! Btw, the young gentleman, i.e., the waiter who helped us was very nice and friendly!

We stopped here after dinner to pick up a little treat to take back to the room. What a surprise they are a bakery with coffee and Bourbon! Who knew?! We skipped the drinks and went straight for the baked items. Macarons to die for, tiny little Lemon Meringue tarts, Walnut tarts, Carrot Cake, Scones, Coffee Cake. The choices all looked amazing. In the end, we opted for an apricot macaron, walnut tart, lemon ginger scone and raspberry coffee cake. All were amazing except the coffee cake. Neither of us liked it, but then again, we weren't having it with coffee and I know that can make a difference. We'll be going back before we leave Lincoln.

The Rabbit Hole, is an Alice in Wonderland themed coffee/dessert stop in the Haymarket area in Lincoln. Coffee was good, the creampuff my wife had was a little stale and the cream was pleasant but not outstanding. I tried the lemon raspberry cake, which sounded and looked great but once again decent in flavor and texture but not great. This could really be a top notch place but seems to be lacking the one thing that could push it into a better place.

I would preface this review with, we might have caught this place on a bad day. The place looks great, new and very clean, has a nice theme. The dessert all looked amazing, I mean top notch as far as appearance goes and they even had some options for special diet considerations which is nice. My wife and I had an Avocado Brownie, a Raspberry Macaroni, and a Blueberry Coffee Cake, all looked picture perfect. The brownie was delicious, unfortunately on e we got to the macaron and the coffee they did not taste anywhere near as good as they looked. They did not taste bad as though they were stale or gone bad, they literally had no flavor at all, no sweat was, no savory, no fruit flavors, nothing. I think we would be willing to try this place again in hopes it was a fluke.

Cake was horrible. Tasted like cornbread with frosting. I had the confetti cake. Was also hard to find. Kinda of like in the basement but it was a nice clean place and the hostess was pleasant. Also not worth the price of $5.21 a slice.

Credit card purchases are additional $0.25 They have some staples (brownies, tarts, puffs) but their cake slices and some desserts change often/as available. There is street parking, but there are a couple big garages within a couple blocks with free parking for the first hour. Cakes are made to order. And i finally filled my tiramisu craving. It may be one of the very few bakeries to sell tiramisu. I ordered one and didn't make any special requests with it - it was unexpectedly very sweet (for me) Enclosing pictures of standard 6x6 square tiramisu. Pictures are a couple days after i picked up the cake, accidentally started cutting into it before i remembered pictures. Very spacious. Great atmosphere and places to sit and talk. Staff has always been friendly.

You have to visit this bakery if you have not! It is decorated so well with a rabbit theme from Wizard of Oz. My daughter and I shared a piece of lemon cake---So delicious! My friend loves the wedding cake. They have tea, wine, champagne and a huge variety of baked goods. It is very relaxing and quiet. It is located at 800 "Q" down some stairs. It is a must see and try place to go!

Curious and surprising little sweets, cocktails, and coffee shop down under. The Rabbit Hole Bakery is a surprising find a few steps down from street level in the middle of the Lincoln, NE Haymarket District. At first glance, this is a perfect stop for coffee, cocktails, and to cure a sweet tooth among the bustle of a busy weekend of events and restaurants in this great entertainment district. The service was prompt, friendly, and knowledgeable, and there is a decent amount of seating in the small space. The menu of in-shop sweets is good and varied, running from the expected to the unexpected. Scones were perfectly made with firmness and level of sweetness without being too crumbly or too sweet. The avocado brownie is an interesting eye opener. The cocktail and coffee offerings are a welcome surprise for a small shop. Additionally, their web site shows they do occasion cakes and other customer orders beyond the first glance of an evening visit; they have a good web site that’s worth checking out. The prices were a little high but reasonable for the quality and specialization; overall, I rate The Rabbit Hole Bakery as a good value for premier location, great service, interesting and diverse offerings, and decent prices. A recommended stop in the Lincoln Haymarket District.

I'd give 'em a 5 if they didn't cut the edges off all the brownies! Yes, they sell them separately but the fact that the edges sell out should tell 'em something about the brownie edges. Leave them on! Leave them on! Leave them on!!! I'm not just gonna complain, I have a solution. Single tiny pans is the answer. Nothing but edge. Before you give me some BS answer why you can't do that, I see you sell thumb size banana bread for $3.50. Yes you can do it!
