I first saw and ate at Paradise Cafe and Bakery in Omaha in 2008/2009 when I lived there. It. Was. Amazing! Everything I tried was so good! The bread was the best bread from any sandwich shop I’d tried, both my hubby and I loved it! In 2010 My husband and I were relocated to St Louis and everyone kept telling me “oh Panera Bread is the same. It’s just as good.” Well, PB IS good but it’s not the same as PB&C. I was so sad and missed it badly. On a business trip to SLC we found a PB&C! Several actually! We ate there almost every day during that business trip! In 2011 we moved home to MS, no PB&C! In 2018 we moved to Columbia, MO. No PB&C! All of these locations have had Panera Bread, which is great but when you’ve been craving Paradise bread and soup for years, nothing else will do! I really hope to get a Paradise Bakery and Cafe in Columbia, MO soon! Until then I will support our local sandwich, backery, cafes, and small dinners!

I have been here numerous times and like the 1/2 sandwich and soup option. Food is good! Quick service as you run through the line and pay before finding your own seat.

We really enjoy this place for both breakfast and lunch. Now that it's getting colder, I'll start trying some soups. My only issue is the floor. It's always sticky and makes me feel Tim walking on a dirty floor.

Horrible service! My daughters sandwich was ordered right, and came wrong. The lady copped an attitude, reached in front of her and pulled the tomatoes of with her bare hands. (My daughter had no hair from chemo. ... not cool!) She tooked the sandwich back but we don't think they actually remade it. My son ordered turkey with only mayo on white. I checked the ticket, it was right. The sandwich came with lettuce and tomatoes. 15 minute wait on a Bagel and omlet. I sent my 10 year old back for it. He told them the omlet was't his, so they took it back. Since I paid for it, they should have delivered it to me or sent it with him anyway. Can't recommend this place.

It's a pleasant alternative to the IHOP's or a Village Inn type of restaurant. Price was fair, omlete was good, it came fresh fruit, toast and a mini muffin. Service was really good, and all the staff I have spoken with have been so friendly. I would recommend you stop in and try it out for yourself.

First visit to paradise and I loved the cookies!! The oatmeal raisin are just amazing! The vanilla latte was made well and not too sweet! The serice was nice and seating was comfy for my 3 kids and mysel! I think the cookies are just amazing and we will be back next time we are at village pointe!

We had eaten here before a few years ago, I don't think they have cleaned the place since the last time we were there. The restroom was filthy! The cupboards above had layers of dust and dirt. It was disgusting! The food was ok, but the restroom made me wonder how clean the kitchen was.

Probably the worst customer service. Consistently. Employees will stand around and talk while you look at them waiting to order. Every day. Dining room is never thoroughly clean, napkins and crumbs underneath most tables. Food is very basic and makes you think “Wow, I could have made this at home.” And leaves you feeling unsatisfied and wishing you didn’t overpay.

I was appalled by the way my friends and I were treated at this establishment. The waiter Colton was so Rude I was flaming by his services. When we first got there he was staring down me and my friends when we went up to go order are food he yelled at us when we asked what the soups of the day were. As we walked to are seats(booth) he followed us with his eyes and them when I went up to go get drinks for my friend and I he followed me to the booth and started yelling he said that he would call security on us if we wanted to get drinks. He got in are faces and said I already told you once that you cant get drinks( he didn't tell us anything). Then he yanked are drinks off the table in a more dramatically way spilling some soup on the table then stormed off. We ate as fast as we could and left. But I was wanted to inform you on this Colton no longer works at Paradise Bakery.

We stopped here for a convenient dinner. My panini was merely a grilled sandwich so I was somewhat disappointed. It was food. The pictures of the breakfast items looked very appetizing. I'd go back and try their breakfast selections.

Sandwich had a single slice of meat on it, I understand this is a lighter fare type of place but when there is 20 times more bread than there is meat it is no longer a sandwich. Employees were nice and service was fast just really not enough meat on the sandwich. Did I mention the sandwich had almost no meat on it...

Worst experience in quite some time. - Terrible customer service. Employees could not care less. - Mediocre adult entrees that are overpriced. We could have made these at home in 20 minutes for a fraction of the price. - Kids entrees were a joke. Microwaved instant mac and cheese which was heated too much, the fruit side advertised on the website was just a yogurt tube, and the "fun stuff" consisted of a photocopied page from a coloring book. Plus, the website implies that these are free with purchase of adult entrée. We were informed that this is only the case during the week. Can't find that fine print anywhere. First experience dining at this establishment. It will definitely be the last.

The food and value forvthe price is great. The 3 star rating is because the location needs cleaned. Don't look up or at the walls or signage as it is full of clumps of dirt and dust. I've noticed nothing has changed in the last 3 months and I've mentioned it twice to the staff. We eat here 2 or 3 times a month and I'll watch where I sit to avoid overhead dirt.

Not satisfied. Ordered the turkey bacon ranch panini. Watched the lady put the sandwich in the microwave, then on a (pretty much) George foreman grill. I can't constitute spending $8 on a sandwich I can make at home. I don't think I will return.

I come here quite a bit. Have never had any problems. Unfortunately today was not the same case. Staff were 100% childish and didn't know what customer service meant. The girl dishing my soup scraped the bottom of the pan for a good 2 and a half minutes. The result was burnt chunks for my soup. The panini was soggy and cold. All of the 4 staff members continued to laugh and mess around while 1 was on her cvell phone. I stood there waiting to pay. Finally the one on her cell phone looked up and rang me out. Overall I don't think I'll be returning here. Panera will get my business

Food was decent. Service was adequate. Bathroom was disgusting. The stall walls were splattered, there were layers of toilet paper dust on top of the stall doors and walls and soap stains dripped down from the dispenser. Those were just the main things. Not going back in there to discover more. Clean employees and food cannot be found with a filthy washroom.

The food here is good. It's what you would expect from a chain bakery/cafe restaurant. The staff at this location, however, is consistently rude. A few weeks ago, while in for lunch, the staff was talking about how annoying customers were while preparing salads right in front of all of us standing in line. It felt so uncomfortable to hear employees talk like that. It just made the place feel really unwelcoming. Last night, while in for dinner, an employee actually rolled her eyes at me after I made a special request for something. She was young, full of attitude, and has a lot to learn about the importance of customer service in the service industry, but her behavior ruined the rest of my meal. I'm sure it's not easy to find good, steady staff to work at a place like this, but it's one of the worst fast casual restaurants in the area in terms of customer service. In addition to the sub-par customer service, I find their process of going through the line and ordering food difficult during busy times like the lunch hour. You have customers ordering at the various stations and then going around each other, you have employees coming into the already crowded line to drop off prepared orders to customers who are still in line (sometimes these employees will just dump several plates of sandwiches on my tray that is already full of other things like soups or salads and then just walk off, leaving me to struggle to balance all of my food on my tray), you have employees behind the counter who are obviously annoyed at the rest of us trying to order and get through the disaster so we can sit down and eat. It's a complete mess at times, and I really wish they would find a better way to make things work during busy times of the day. I honestly don't know why I keep coming here to eat as often as I do. Probably because it's close and convenient.

Terrible service and bland food. I Ordered the deluxe grilled cheese panini (which is described as cheese bacon and mustard on sourdough) and all I got was just dry bread and cheese. None if the ingredients listed on the menu. When I asked why... they said because I didnt ask for the bacon or mustard. IT'S LISTED ON THE MENU WHY WOULDN'T IT COME ON IT AUTOMATICALLY? We had to ask 5 times for a roll with the soup because the soup guy did not understand english. They said they would bring butter to the table but never did. The "mac and cheese" looks like they made it from a box. Horrible service and food was just not good.

This is one of my favorite stops at Village Pointe. It is a great restuarant for a quick bite and to have a chat with a friend. I usually get a half serving of a sandwich and a salad. There is a nice and somewhat wide selection of sandwiches to choose from.

My mom and I came here for brunch, thinking we would try it. As soon as we walked in, there was a very snobby vibe, and the staff seemed aloof and unapproachable. I ordered the turkey bacon ranch panini, and my mom ordered the deluxe grilled cheese panini. The food came, and to my surprise, they each looked like they had been made on a George Foreman grill, and that we could have made them at home, for way cheaper than $8. My first sandwich only had cheese on one half, and the meat was undercooked. I took it back and the staff acted like they got this complaint all the time. My second sandwich looked like the first, just more steamy. My moms grilled cheese was just American cheese on cheap bread. We will not be returning.

Had my first horrible experience here.... I order the same thing every time I go here and this rude associate chims in that its extra cost. I said no problem I get the same thing every time expecting that adding extra is extra! She persisted on telling me again in a ruder voice did not appreciate that 1 bit. Never had this kind of service before....
