Never a bad choice!! Everyone can find something in the menu! Service is always great, whether we have a large group or 1 other couple. The food is excellent, always, and their hash browns are where it's at for sure. I also love that you can grab their day old pastures to go for a discount because they are literally still insanely good.

I gave Farmhouse a low rate not because of the food. The food is delicious my niece ate here before. I rated FarmHouse low because the man/host refuse to call/seat us, almost an hour of waiting. We quietly left. Choir Rehearsal was cancel this Saturday Feburary 9, 2019. So my sister and I and our daughters decided to go to FarmHouse Cafe & Bakery for breakfast. We arrived about 950 some in the AM. There were quite a bit of customers sitting/standing waiting to be called/seated. Gave the host her name, put on the list. Aftet a while more and more people coming in. Now waiting well over 30 minutes. Started noticing the people who came in after us were called and seated before us. Talked to the man/host. He said he called her name-we did not answer, so he crossed out her name. She let him know he hadn't called her name. He did not Apologize either. And by this time it was well over 45 minutes. We left.

You cannot close your doors 30+ minutes before your actual closing time. That's depriving people that just want to come pick up some cake of the opportunity to do so. As someone who is a usual and loyal customer who brags about your desserts, I will no longer do so. Highly disappointed.

The house specialties included Breakfast selections, amazing presentations of classic sandwiches and delicious entrees. Fresh Salads were a perfect fit for a Farmhouse menu. After some serious consideration from numerous salad choices, I choose a Cobb salad with an added side of grilled chicken breast. A pleasantly pleasing feast in both, Fresh Quality and Quantity. Food was great. Service was terrible from the waitress we had. We got there at about 1:45 so past the big lunch rush. Seated right away. Waitress like to never came to take our order even tho I kept trying to catch her eye. Told her I dropped my silverware on the floor and she said she'd get me another but she never did. Had to answer another wait staff for our bill and boxes to take leftovers home.

Don't know why. But the first time ever us four have eaten here and within 30 minutes of leaving, all four of us had to use the facilities to.....sit down and do our business. A few days later, 3 of us went here again and same results. A week later, tried it again. So, it's not us per se...but some type of cooking oil/grease does not sit with our body system. To be fair, experienced similar....experiences with a few other restaurants. The food is tasty, wait staff great. But no more for us eating their.

The food was amazing. The gravy on my chicken fried steak was heavenly. The server was very friendly and responsive. This was a great place to go after running early errands and just sit with my girlfriend while we had fantastic food. I can't recommend this place enough. I'll have to try and find another reason to be on this side if town again soon.

Great service. Huge American menu, with something for everyone. I had the build your own omelet and it was delicious. My wife had the chicken potpie and she said it was great too. While we didnt have any deserts there were man options and all looked excellent.

You know all the scenes in the movies where the country folk are at dinner and everything looks awesome and everyone is happy? This is the place. The breakfast here is especially great and the prices are always low until you get to the bakery counter. The prices are higher, but for good reason at the dessert counter. Try a bar or a piece of cake, I promise you the price is worth it!

In the past, I've enjoyed eating at FarmHouse but last night may be my last night. There are too many other options in town to try. I was sitting at the counter and for about 10 minutes my server walked by me multiple times without even a simple "be right with you". Service was good, once I was acknowledged. I ordered the NU potato casserole and as mentioned in a previous review it was without seasoning, just bland potatoes and overcooked sirloin. Their desserts are always good, so I may be back fir those.

I've used them twice to cater events in my office. They have been so helpful, kind, and the office loved the food. I've done both a breakfast casserole buffet and lunch spread. I'll definitely use them again for future events!

Food and portions are good. Staff is friendly. Restaurant and restrooms are clean. Ordering from the bakery for later pick-up is a pleasant experience. Overall I like going here. There are, however, a few things that need improvement. The hosts walk much faster than the guests they are seating, which is awkward at best. The pie crusts are thick and heavy. The crisps and cobblers have only a thin layer of fruit on the bottom.

Found hair in my food they weren’t very apologetic about it. Then the box they brought me to put other food in had another hair in it. At that point I didn’t even want to take anything home. The manager didn’t even apologize about it just walked away. Bland food and cinnamon rolls were so dry like stale. Never going back here again.

The food and service were exceptional. However we were looking forward to having biscuits and gravy. My wife was there on Saturday and said the biscuits and gravy were the best. We found out that it was one of the Saturday specials and that biscuits and gravy aren't even available the rest of the week. Not even on the menu. My food was fantastic. But disappointed about the biscuits and gravy. Apple pie was awesome too.

The FarmHouse has become a staple in our rotation of restaurants when we have a lot of family in town. The service is usually kind and attentive and the food is the epitome of Midwestern comfort food. The decor is again very Midwestern and when there are long waits it helps that this restaurant is connected to another business with plenty to browse as you wait.

This cafe is one that I will be returning to EVERYTIME we come to Omaha! We had a fairly big party and were seated very quick. Our waitress was ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL! She was super personable, very funny and very accommodating! Our food came out in a timely manner, and they had very healthy portions. The food was incredible and their desserts were phenomenal! I can't say enough good things about this cafe! Will recommend to anyone that comes to Omaha, and I know I will be making a point to return everytime we come to Omaha!

Huge portions, nicely prepared and a good variety of dishes. The specialty is a spectacular array of baked goods - cakes, rolls, cookies and pies and all are decorated beautifully. Breakfast for three was about $35 all in. I would go back again, if only for the fabulous smells. Everything baked right there!

It is a noisy place but comfortable. I had the crispy chicken casserole and morning glory muffin with diet coke. The portion was huge but it was just a ton of mashed potatoes (not real potatoes ☹️) with corn and some chicken tenders mixed in. On top it had what looked like a gravy with cheese melted in top. The chicken was tough and overcooked. The best part of the meal was the morning glory muffin. Their baked products are exceptional! The wait staff was friendly and excellent. The food was hot when served.

Sadly, dry roast beef in the hot beef sandwich. I've had it before and it's hit and miss. Deserts look amazing, but always disappointing whenever we order them. Unlike the roast beef, the deserts are consistently dry. I hate to give such a sub-par review, but I'm just being honest.

We had not been there in over 8 years. And my husband wanted something other than fast food to eat. So we seen an television advertisement the other night on tv about the FARMHOUSE CAFE & BAKERY. So we had appointments in Omaha, and we decided to try it out. And boy were happy. My husband loves pancakes and eggs. And he said his egg, over easy hard was made to perfection and his pancake was delicious. He was very impressed with the service, and can not wait to go back. Also he could not believe the bakery items. They are out of this world.

We try to eat breakfast here at least once every time we come home which is 2 to 4 times per year. We are always able to get right in with a minimal wait even with a larger group. The staff is always friendly and will always accommodate requests. The food always comes out fast and hot. The prices are reasonable and the portions are very satisfying. The cinnamon rolls are always great and they are generous with the icing. We will be back again next time we are in town.

I had the BEST experience this morning at FarmHouse. The pecan rolls are to die for and Carolyn was the BEST SERVER EVER!! Service was so quick even though they were SUPER busy. We had to wait about 15 minutes for a table, but that's just because they were really busy so we just wandered around Mangelsen's until they paged us. It was the best meal!

The other day I went I for lunch. I had to be somewhere in a very short time to celebrate a joint birthday with my grand niece. I wanted 2 decorated birthday cookies one for each of us. The gentleman said he wasn't a baker and didn't think he could do it. However, he went and tried and brought me 2 amazing personalized cookies for my grand niece and I. He really went over and above the call of duty and my grand niece was thrilled. She had just recently learned to read and she read both cookies. WIN / WIN!
