Good strong freshly-ground coffee that's less expensive than most of the other coffee places in town, plus an excellent selection of fresh baked treats! Limited seating in the dining area, so I don't recommend it for groups larger than four people, but other than that, I think it's great.

Vanilla Bean is our go to for breakfast and lunch. My husband and I have been there many times and not once have I had something I didn’t like. From americanos to sandwiches and desserts, this place is amazing!! The customer service is fantastic as well. I’m so grateful to have this bakery in our neighborhood!!

We had the Vanilla Bean make our wedding cake this year. The cake turned out ok, tasted good but wasn't decorated as we had asked. Overall, the poor review is in regards to the customer service we received throughout the process. The lady we dealt with in planning our cake was pretty much rude every time we interacted and treated us like we were always an inconvenience. We won't be giving them our business again and would not recommend them.

Trying to plan an out-of-town wedding is tough. Vanilla Bean Bakery was one of the few bakeries that showed up in an online search for Helena wedding cakes. The cake was good, and was delivered on time to the right place, and it was attractively decorated. The customer service involved in having that process take place, however, left some room for improvement. The person I spoke to acted as if she were doing me the favor of baking my cake, and when I asked for help in selecting a design--twice-- she acted as though that were a foreign concept and gave me zero suggestions or ideas, but plenty of attitude. If it were just the cake I were rating, it'd be a 4/5. The service was a 2/5.

We had our wedding cake made here... a simple three tier with white cake, raspberry filling, and buttercream icing. Can I be honest with ya? I couldn’t be happier. I’m SO glad we went with Vanilla Bean. The cake was BEAUTIFUL and tasted AMAZING.... and was **ONE FIFTH** the price of the nearest competitor. Thank you so much to all the wonderful people that helped to make our day perfect.... it truly was!

Great hot chocolate and coffee. We also got a cinnamon roll which was amazing. They are moving to a different location soon. Highchair available and a changing table in the bathroom, although it had toilet paper sitting on it when we visited.

Our old favorite! Try the aebleskivers...something like pancake balls with fresh whipped cream and a choice of sweet dipping sauces. We had strawberry, but the chokecherry also looked delicious. Also, delicious Cravens coffee.
