Our visit this weekend was the first and certainly won't be the last. My husband and I both got the breakfast sandwich and it was one of the best we ever had. We got a danish pastry to go and fought over it once we opened it up to eat it during our ski adventure in the park. And the coffee!! So, so good. Its exciting to see quality restaurants opening up in C Falls.

What a great find! We're staying in Columbia Falls while we explore Glacier National Park, and found Uptown Hearth on Yelp. Everything we had was excellent - vegetable frittata, Breakfast Sandy, and great coffee too. The Morning Bun was fantastic: part croissant, part cinnamon roll, all delicious. We'll be back several times before we head back home.

Cute little cafe right smack dab in the middle of downtown Cfalls. Who knew?? I met friends there and they loved the place. Friendly and looked to have great food and drink. Cute atmosphere.

The food is amazing and I will always come back because it's soso good. I do have anxiety eating there though. The flow is really messy. It would be less confusing if there were better signage. Perhaps a board over the cash register saying order here and what I can order. Maybe if the coffee bar and cash register were switched, it would make it less confusing. I do want to emphasize again, the food is phenomenal, just a weird set up.

We found this bakery by accident while visiting the used book store next door. We bought delicious pastries and came back a few days later for a full breakfast! All four of our meals were delicious and beautifully presented. Highly, highly recommend!

This cozy coffee spot has separate vendors for coffee and pastries. Both serve excellent goodies. The coffee was carefully and deliciously prepared. The pastries were unique and scrumptious. Nice little patio outside for a summer day

Not only was it the best Cortado since Barcelona, the food was exceptional... and service TOP NOTCH! Matt was running point on a busy Saturday and my girlfriend and dog waited on patio while I ordered. Chef overheard me order sausage for my dog (to top his kibble) and chimes in saying it might be too salty and he’d loved to scramble some eggs for Quincy (Vizsla) if that worked for me... what a kind gesture and the pup loved it! Best biscuit I’ve had outside the south (NC) and polenta special was bomb. Cheers to a five-star joint!

My wife and I shared an amazing time on a Sunday morning in this place. Had never gone in before but was recommended by a friend. The set up is too cool!! If your looking to meet a new friend, just take a seat in community dining table right in the middle of the store. Or if you need personal time grab a seat on a stool facing outside. And don't forget your coffee made by one of the locals best. And the food cooked fresh in eyes sight was beyond 5 star! Great staff!!! Great place!! Thanks!!

I love every aspect of this place! Would give more stars if possible. The staff is so incredibly friendly/polite and great at their jobs. Coffee/chai are always delicious and they have oat milk, which is great. The food they cook is on point and they have the best eggs in the valley. I haven't had a bad pastry here ever, always fresh, never dry or stale. The small dining area is really intimate and waiting patrons encourages a great start to your day.

This is a great little place to grab a coffee and some breakfast in the morning. Definitely try one of the breakfast ham and cheese croissants. It's really a hidden gem in the center of Columbia Falls. Don't miss this stop!

We decided to give it a try - food is nicely prepared with quality ingredients. Great coffee. Our only "observations" was that upon entering the cafe (nicely redone interiors) it was confusing where the order line began and where to stand...i think this will be figured out by the owners in due time. A simple sign pointing the way - or perhaps some rearranging of tables and such. There were quite a few folks standing on either sides of tables with customers trying to enjoy their meal and it wouldnt be my preference...but again, i think they will work ot out. Definitely a good spot with lots of potential for our growing community.

Uptown Hearth is the local bakery and cafe you want in your town. It's casual but homey and the food is yummy as well. You can drop in for a coffee or sit down for a more filling meal. Remember to come in early because pastries do sell out and the closer you get to closing time, the less there is to choose from. It's every person for themselves when it comes to getting the pastries. The lemon blueberry muffin isn't too sweet but has a slight tart from the lemon. It's dense and moist with the raw sugar topping. The frittata is full of seasonal veggies and cooked very well. It's not overdone but not so loose that the fillings are spilling out. It has a crisp edge and the flavors and textures all just pop. The salad that comes with it is ever so lightly dressed but it is so yummy. It adds freshness to the frittata and some crunch. The breakfast sandwich might look small but it packs a punch not only in flavor but you will be satisfied. The biscuit is buttery and has some nice layers. It's sturdy is able to hold up against the scrumptious fillings. The egg is fluffy and then you have the crispy bacon topped with the chipotle aioli that not only adds creaminess but also a slight kick. It elevates the breakfast sandwich. Service is quick and remember to order, pay and find a spot to park yourself. There is plenty of room for groups and single diners. Most important is to come early for the treats.

Very limited food menu during the week, but what they have was excellent. Sourdough bread was delicious, the biscuit was flaky and flavorful, the eggs were perfectly cooked, the bacon was crispy and the Chipotle aioli was not too spicy, but it was a little smoky for me. The orange currant scone was amazing although maybe a tad over cooked.

A really nice space, with a bright friendly atmosphere. This is the home to two businesses -- a microbakery (Uptown Hearth) and a pop up style espresso bar (Azul). The space is open and you can watch them making all their delicious food. It was a great find. Delicious Danish, bacon croissant, focaccia, ... and the bread looks great, too (haven't tried it yet). The folks working here were super nice, fun(ny), and welcoming.

The breakfast sammie was a delish biscuit with eggs, bacon and a creamy aioli. Only disappointment was a lack of interest in accommodating a vegan in our group. He asked for avocado toast and they said the avocado was only for the special. He asked for a side of potatoes, they were also only for a specific dish...

After enjoying great bakeries in Germany and Switzerland, I was wondering where to go in the valley for high quality breads and pastries. Uptown Hearth is the answer. With a tasty breakfast menu and great coffee to boot, it's worth the trip from South Kalispell. Just make a note on what day your favorite bread gets baked!

Everything I've had was great quality. Everyone has been friendly and blue azul's coffee is some of the best in the valley, imo. He has some good European style items that are a refreshing change (ie cafe cortado). And those morning buns though...

Checked this place out while staying in Whitefish for the weekend and it is definitely not a place to be missed! The owner immediately greeted us at the door and was very attentive as we had never been there before. The gentleman preparing the drinks was friendly and skilled and everyone working there seemed to go the extra mile to ensure that meals were prepared quickly and to perfection. Supporting local business at it's best! I had the Chai with the morning bun bread pudding and it was a perfect pairing. The cinnamon flavour with the lightly crisp bun was true perfection. The Chai was a perfect spice level and was nicely complimented with the delicate vanilla sweetness. My husband had the special breakfast quesadilla - he said it was the best quesadilla he has ever had. The avocado cream was a perfect compliment. The tortilla was hand made and the filling was delicious. We are heading home tomorrow and I hope that we can stop again on our way home to pick up some of the pastries that I didn't have a chance to try today!
