Amber

My favorite bakery in town! Really great bread

Theresa Olson

YUM YUM YUM my favorite bakery in all Missoula and all the bitterroot valley

Darcy Thomas

Every time I come over from Seattle to visit I find my trip is not complete unless I have some of the great coffee at LPO. The beans have an exquisite roast and I often take some back with me. The rustic bread and pastries are understated but just perfect in their simplicity. The reason I don't give 5 stars is simply that I think this place could go a little over the top by offering beignets. They would be the icing on the cake.

Greg Alario

Always the best baked goods and the best service Plus exceptional coffee

We are so fortunate to have this bakery in our town. Good bread is unfortunately hard to find when you have standards as high as mine. They constantly exceed my expectations. Great espresso the best baguette ever and a wonderful staff that can serve a long line in no time.

Eric Strandvold

Really great bread and pastries. I would also recommend their pizza dough, it's inexpensive and very good. If you have the time to hang out, the coffee is good also

A pâtisserie with no butter. 2 stars off. President (french) butter is available at Albertsons in town. So no excuses!

Christopher Abell

This place is one of the best bakery's I have ever come across. Their product is amazingly fantastic and I would rate them much higher if I could. Dont confuse them with a trendy big city bakery though, if you go an expect a massive selection and a good cafe you will be dissapointed, it is a very simple establishment with world class breads.

Antonio Pax

You've got to try this place! The atmosphere is so homestyle and so "Missoula-ee". They specialize in bread and bakery type treats. They make premade pizza dough and you can take it to go, add your own toppings, and bake it yourself. I had one of their apple turnovers and a cup of coffee. It was stunningly good! Got to stop by.

What a pleasant surprise this place was! On my way to Washington state, I stopped at this bakery as I am obsessed with French bread and had been told by locals to check it out. This bakery lives up to the hype. The baguette and Pain de campagne reminded me of the ones I had in France. The crust was perfect and the inside was airy and soft. Other kinds of bread were also available. On top of that, this place serves coffee and it was also quite delicious and carefully made A section with salamis and other charcuterie was also there to go with your bread. You can stay and enjoy your coffee in the big open space inside the store. I highly recommend this place for bread. Stopping for their other products will be also quite enjoyable.

Dustin Mennie

Best baguettes around.

Glenn Kroll

William Pallister

Pastries okay, coffee excellent. Friendly service and pleasant outdoor seating in a leafy street. Well worth visiting

Dianna Harding

This place is So good. It smells amazing when you walk through the doors. I love the chocolate croissant (I think it's called Pain au chocolate) but I just found a new one at Orange street market that they make. It's called Pain du Matin. It's so yummy with all of it's cinnamon and sugar and the little bit of gooey-ness inside. Try it. It's worth it.

Philippe Leiritz

Best French style bread and croissants in town

Timothy Green

Seldom in your life do you find yourself in a place like this. The epiphany that I get in this bakery, dreaming of France or Italy, eating delicate pastries, sipping espresso... Just, *sigh.

Susan

Much better than 5-star! Outstanding bakery products -- everything really does taste like Paris! Can't be beat! Good prices and outstanding coffee, too.

Stopped in for a Cup-o-Jo and a pastry ... Always pleasant people offering to help you out. They have consistently great fresh baked goods ... I usually walk out with more than I initially went in for... I've been many times and will stop whenever I'm close.

Thomas Morgan

Great coffee and pastries. The service was very fast and friendly.

Christopher Morigeau

Kathleen Shepherd

Delicious breads and pastries. Hands down the best coffee in town. Staff and customers are always totally sweet with my "spirited" toddler, and if I can get him to just dance to the great music instead of running around crazy everyone loves it. Always a welcoming environment!

Mobius Vegan

Great atmosphere and service with a smile. No one is pushy and it's great if you're looking for a quite corner to enjoy some peace.

Quaint coffee shop and cafe on the hip strip. They don't brew their own brand of coffee, but do their own breads. I've tried a little bit of their bread and it is tasty. But their coffee is a bit overpriced. I guess you're paying for the atmosphere. It's a rather large space that is open; however, there isn't a huge amount of seating.

Meaghan Gaul

Esther Lyon Delsordo

Closest thing to European bread you'll find in Missoula. A great place to study and meet friends.

Catherine Gabster

Best bread comes from the best bread oven in town. Crust fanatics will love it and I am one of those. Yum.

Bill Koures

Exceptional coffee. Also, a great bakery.

cp leblow

Really nice fresh pastries. My Pain au Raison was delicious and staff was friendly and cheerful. Indoor/outdoor seating and close to downtown and a decent amount of available street parking. Coffee was really good but my added espresso shot was a little bitter hence the 1 star deduction.

Excellent French style bakery. Baguettes are my favorite. Good coffee and pastries too.

Le Petit Outre is an interesting counterpoint to the idea that local is better; their breads are no better than mass produced national brands, and are often bland or improperly baked. Really underwhelming.

Brandy Houser

Friendly people great bread and croissants.

Navin Mahabir

Kaloni Taylor

Cool place

Aron Bron

the best ever go nowhere else

mark phillips

Great bread. Get there early.

Aeravi

We love the casual and relaxing atmosphere. Recommend dipping the pan de matin in your latte. Num! More of a place to eat with friends than place than a use-the-wifi-to-work kind of location. Oh, and they often have new artwork by local artists, which is great!

Chris Carlson

We tried three different kinds of the pastries and they are all very good!

Look no further for the best bread in town (maybe in Montana). For sliced bread, I have never had anything better than Bird Man. Otherwise, everything else there is spot on, from baguettes to pastries (amazing lemon poppy ginger scones!) to foccacia. Love this place.

Becky Lefeber

Delicious breads and baked goods
