Love how late it's open!! But the line can wrap around the corner when it's busy. They have all kinds of flavors like black liquorice, coffee, birthday cake, and sorbets. And you can make them into shakes or sundaes :) There's a place to sit upstairs as well, and they have a water cooler for guests.

Full disclose...I am a slave to all things ice cream. I just finished a great meal and was looking for something sweet and this place popped up. Any chance you get to eat homemade artisan ice cream, stop whatever you are doing and get some. This is that kind of place. Simple flavors done right. I got maple walnut. Dreamy good with a just soft enough consistency. Outstanding way to cap off the day!

This is some of the best ice cream you will find. They have a lot to choose from and always have some specials. The prices are pretty good and the staff is always friendly. Usually a little bit of a line because they are sooooooooooo good! Definitely stop in if you are in the area.

We live out of town (and coincidentally have our own Big Dipper) but love coming to Helena's when we we come to visit family. Their selection is unique and always gull if surprises. The ice cream is flavorful, full of toppings (if you so choosethose particular flavors) and the staff is extremely friendly, always in good moods and have great senses of humor. Tonight I had the Yellow Cake and White Chocolate Oreo in a waffle cone which was still warm. Big thumbs up all around.

The prices aren't bad at all and the selection of flavors is a good one. I tried both the bubblegum ice cream and the tangerine sorbet and they were both delicious. The closest I could think of as far as complaints are concerned would be that there were no chunks of actual bubblegum in the ice cream like I prefer...but that didn't diminish the flavor.
