This Bakery is classified in the category of American restaurant.
Very delicious. Everything tastes very fresh and home made. The biscuits were scrumptious. We also loved the bakery items. Great place for breakfast, lunch, or dessert!
Great lunch and breakfast place! Different take on several traditional dishes. Highly recommend the cinnamon roll! It's the size of a half loaf of bread... Definitely can be shared with the table. Also the biscuits and gravy is one of my favorites!
The aroma of the food was unbelievable. The service recieved was like they have always known you, everyone is regular. The food is exquisite and delightful. The restuarant was clean and welcoming. Thank you Russell's Cafe and Bakery for a good experience.
Russell's in Fenton much better!!
The food was really good. Just a little on the expensive side.
Menu was very extensive. Also items can be made to your choice. Our order was delivered very quickly to our table. Food was delicious. Surroundings were clean and neat. Will definitely return soon and will try their desserts. Had a sample of one, heavenly.
Been here multiple times, never disappointed. Great food and service. Now they serve beer, drinks which is an added plus. Highly recommend Russell's. Employees here are friendly and make you want to come back.
Very friendly
Friendly staff, excellent quality food
The food was good, but I didn't think the value was there.
Always a treat, great atmosphere! Great good, interesting clientele if you are a people watcher. Very interesting and original options, vegetarian/ vegan options.
I've been here a couple times now. Food is expensive and very bland. Grilled chicken has no seasoning and salads are always under-dressed. Would never recommend this place.
Delicious, friendly staff, comfortable
Great new place here. Breakfast and lunch. Food locally sourced, they bake their own breads, of course. Generous portions. Staff dressed nicely and friendly. One part dining... order and they bring to table. One part bakery...yum! Cost was upper end, but worthwhile.
Delicious food. The pot pie soup and biscuit is unlike any I have ever had. Soooooo good.
I was running late and decided to stop in for a scone or something for breakfast. They have a trainee on the cash register and a person helping her take a large order for a family. As I’m waiting another customer comes in, orders from Sarah at the pastry counter where they don’t have a cash register. She gets the customer a pastry and takes it over to the incredibly slow cashier ahead of me. I left. I don’t know if their food is good, but you better have all day to find out.
The ladies at the counter were so sweet and patient with is. It was our first time and I asked her to tell me the cake flavors multiple times. She never got annoyed or frustrated, just kept saying them. We got 3 gigantic slices of cake and two brownies and it only cost us 24 bucks! Reasonable prices, excellent service, amazing cakes!!!
The food is great, my wife got French toast. The French toast comes with syrup, lemon curd and whipped cream. I got the Cuban sandwich which isn't super traditional (they use whole grain mustard not yellow) but its flavor is fantastic.
Good food and great desserts
Nice change in foods. Guess butter cake excellent
Great place and they serve drinks!
Amazing breakfast hash!
It was great
First visit to this place for lunch. Was not sure of vegetarian options. But the friendly staff suggested a Grilled Squash sandwich, which was tasty! We also enjoyed a salad with apple slices, candied walnuts and cranberries. The chips were tasty. All in all, we were stuffed with good food. Great neighborhood addition!!
Great pastries and ambience. Very spacious for a breakfast/brunch place.
Unique and savory. Lovely varieties!!
Great experience, expertly cooked fresh ingredients with outstanding coffee. A little pricey, but they are using quality products so its justified.
Good food in a little strip mall. Prices were slightly high for breakfast. Some nice different items for breakfast. Friendly staff.
Good food. Accomadating. Family and young adults customers
Fantastic as always!
Beautiful open space with awesome food and delicious sweets and treats. Try the cinnamon gooey butter cake!
Great place, friendly atmosphere, interactive staff. Signature chocolate cake was one of the best desserts I've ever experienced. I highly recommend.
Even though there was a line the time goes fast. Food was delicious. People are very helpful.
Food was okay but very expensive for counter service. Steak and eggs was $21 And you have to stand in line to order and pay for it at a counter. I ordered coffee ($2.95) with my meal and had to walk halfway across the restaurant to refill it at the coffee station. Will deliver food to your table but that's the limit of any service. I will not return as I can get better food and full table service for less.
Great food and service. This was our first visit and I’d say Russell’s is the best by far in the deli/bakery marketplace
Great atmosphere, friendly staff and DELICIOUS breakfast hash! I drove pass this gem so many times but glad that I finally went in for a nice Friday brunch. Amazing place! Will definitely come back!
1st time there, we had breakfast. Had a very good selection of foods. Portions were good size. Even had mimosas there. Food was very good. Help was very friendly & the place was clean. Their bakery goods were huge. Definitely would have to share. The only keeping me from giving them a 5, was their pricing is a little high. Would definitely go back.
I would like to have my own "From the Mixed Up Files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler" at this restaurant. But the only mystery I would be solving is how much breakfast one man can eat before being rendered completely immobile.
Club sandwich was good.
Omg!! Is this place real?! Everything fresh and delicious. And when you talk about the desserts, as the friendly lady describes, you dream about having a bite of each. We had lunch so we choose a rosbife Sandwich which was so tasty, and the amazing pear salad. When the time to select a dessert came I knew I had to be back. This time I had the flourless chocolate cake. The ambiance is clean and modern and their team so welcoming. Will be back to try their huge breakfast options
Russell’s has some of the best bakery foods around. I never visit without enjoying their coffee and biscuits. The biscuits are in fact the best at any restaurant around here. I also try a new flavor of gooey butter cake with each visit and haven’t had a bad slice yet.
Cakes desserts cookies and food are all excellent
Great food!!
Great breakfast and stellar espresso! Service was prompt and staff very friendly. Had the breakfast veggie wrap and a latte. Great start to the weekend! A+
The French toast is great. We also really like the cinnamon rolls.
Good food, very high prices, have to get up to refill your own coffee!!
My boyfriend and I decided to try this gem out for Sunday brunch, and it was the best!-like ever!!!We went in, ordered, and sat at the bar. I was very impressed with how hard the chefs were working and they had extra staff double checking tickets and organizing plates as they came out. Whoever that man was deserves a raise! He was ensuring timely responses for food and directing both the chefs and waiters. (But he was not the manager!) Anyway, the food was super good too! We started with the cinnamon roll, as pictured, and shortly after came our food. He had the hash and I had the scrambled egg grilled cheese with a French Vanilla Latte. The grilled was very refreshing with the tomatoes and mozzarella cheese. The latte was served at a perfect temp (not boiling and not cold). Also, I always love when the barista spends a little extra time and draws a picture with the milk!! 10/10!!!
Wow some of the best flavored food I had in a while for breakfast!
Had lunch, it was just okay
Amazing food, great service, clean restaurant.
Put your prices on the menu. Nice place, great menu and the food was excellent and service was great. However, their coffee was not good at all, one actually tasted horrible to me. Apart from the coffee, great place to visit.
A nice menu of sandwiches, breakfast items (French toast, granola, hashes, etc), salads, and a few soups. I haven't had any of their bakery goods but there are a lot to choose from and they all look great! The service is also friendly and the food comes out at a reasonable speed
Great food! Very impressed.
This place is amazing! Food is incredible! Coffee is incredible, not sugar water garbage like other places, actual REAL coffee! Prices may seem high, but you get what you pay for, and actually makes eating out seem worth the expense.
So delicious and cozy! Love it here.
Fantastic fresh foods!
Awesome service, ability to sit outside, and great food!
Love this place.
Pizza for breakfast!! Amazing flatbread breakfast pizza... Not your usual crust..thin kinda like a biscuit...tomatoes..cheese..eggs..spinach and more. Paired with Highlander Grog coffee...Perfect!! I wish I had room for desert!!
Quaint dining with good food, will be back.
Good replacement (used to be a Panera here). Great bakery products, lunch items and coffee. Clean, modern decor. Friendly staff. Ample parking.
A cut above eatery.
Another favorite for me. I came for lunch, sat outside on a nice day, and stopped to buy a delicious pastry on my way out.
Great food and a fun look inside
Good food. Average service.
Awesome food and great place to relax for brunch.
A nice place to eat breakfast or lunch. Sometimes gets a bit busy. Good decore and atmosphere
Delicious food and large portions. The a jolla toast was awesome and a great size for avocado toast. Salads are wonderfully fresh and filling. Price is good when compared to quality and size
One of my favorite low key places for breakfast/brunch. Many options for traditional breakfast, salads, lunch and a delicious bakery - if you ever need a cake for an event don’t think twice, just get the Russell’s chocolate cake and it’s a winner! Wish there were a few healthier options, maybe with egg whites, but overall we love Russell’s! Breakfast flatbread shared with a salad is a delicious option!
I would recommend this place. It has a new version modern country sheik. The staff is friendly. The food is upscale soup, salad, and sandwiches done delisciously. The bakery was even better. They are only open until 3pm, so no dinner for you.
Good French Toast
Let me tell you about this place! The COFFEE IS BUNKERS! AND THAT CINNAMON ROLL IS GIANT! It was great for a date of two, we ate it all and had an amazing conversation in a very relax and friendly space! Definitely going again to study and drink coffee, maybe order some lunch afterwards!
Crowded, but the baked goods are some of the best in the area. They also have gluten free products.
The best breakfast dishes.
Russell's serves fresh elevated cuisine in a cafe-style atmosphere. It is generally some of the best food you'll find in West County. Unfortunately it can be hit or miss. I ordered the Maple glazed chili chicken which attempts to be an upscale version of chicken and biscuits. It was seventeen dollars and was an appropriate portion for the price. However the dish came with some bitter greens wetted with a sweet vinegar sauce. This was placed next to the two country biscuits which naturally soaked up that vinegary water ruining the biscuits. The chicken was mostly bland with a sweet relish on it. The greens were most likely meant to compliment the chicken but failed due to poor plating. Moreover the palate was different than the description on the menu as there was no detectable chili or maple flavor.
Outstanding food with a wide menu variety in a very friendly and themed atmosphere.bwould highly recommend for famil and business get togethers.
When are you going to build a store in st. Charles county? I love everything on your menu.
First experience getting lunch there today. Superfriendly and food is amazing. Will absolutely visit again. Hey and they even have Gooey Butter Cake. . . can't beat it!
Food is a mixed bag but the place looks great I'm hoping I like it more next time I visit if I do I will add a star
What a great place! Great food, good-sized portions, happy employees and good atmosphere. They have menu items that you won't find at many other places and I love the fact that they use local farms for their ingredients. I will definitely be going back.
1st time at this new location. Happy to report & food were just as excellent as all of my experiences at the Fenton location. I was surprised at how spacious the location is & the decor is really nice.
Took my sister and her family here for a great breakfast. Ordered the steak and eggs and it was huge! Food tastes very fresh and “clean” so it feels like your eating healthy. You order at the counter and then they bring the food to your table. It was pretty busy when we were there but came in, ate, and left. So tables were not an issue. I had the breakfast burrito a couple times now and it was great!
I love Russell's, it's my go to brunch spot. Amazing food and very generous portions. The cinnamon roll is to die for!
Fabulous!
Good food - pricey, but good!
Staff is disrespectful and and incompetent.
Had a small piece of cake, pastries and cappuccinos awesome, people very friendly and respectful.
Good customer service, pricey.
Wow. Nice. Classy. Delicious.
The best French toast!
Totally packed today, but expected it for father's day. Food was delicious . They were out of a lot of things, but staff made efforts to deliver great food and service with good alternatives.
Overpriced
Food was amazing
Get all the pasteries!
Yum!
I have had lunch and dessert here several times and the food is very good. The lines are long but the food is worth the wait.
Good food, outstanding service, very friendly staff.
Great food and service. Only negative it's a bit pricey.
Second time here, first time was good, but this time we came because my wife specifically wanted French toast. We arrived at 11:40, they serve breakfast until 3pm, and after we paid we were advised they were out French toast for the day! About 10 minutes later two ladies ordered the same thing, I assume from a different cashier, and weren't told until they were sitting down they had to choose something else! High prices require better service. Hello, it's a BREAKFAST & lunch place! The ladies behind us ordered salads to eat in, they brought them in a to go box. When they said they were not carryout, they brought 2 salad bowls, put them on the table and walked away, leaving the ladies to pour the boxes into the bowels.
Simply a wonderful breakfast with very nice people. Drove by for a couple years since I moved to the area without stopping in. My loss!
My wife and I used to frequent the Macklin's location for breakfast. We moved out of the city a couple of years ago and decided to (remembered to) make it back. We both had sandwiches and a salad. The food and service were both amazing. We sort of renewed our enthusiasm by coming back - expect us again and again!
very fresh food loved it
Food was delicious. Atmosphere and setting were very inviting. Coffee was amazing bc it was Kaldi's.
Although food was just as great as the original one I still like the ambiance of the one on Macklind.
Don't miss out on the cinnamon roll the size of your head. Breakfast sandwiches were great! Long line to order at the counter on the weekends but they handle finding you a table to sit at and the line moves quick. Cold brew and numerous other morning caffeine delights are available.
Great frosted cookies & cut potatoes!
The cinnamon roll is to die for! Feel free to share. Highly recommend the biscuits and gravy, and the bacon is perfect in everyway possible. Nice atmosphere, and a friendly staff rounds out a delightful dining experience.
I love this coffee shop, they have the best coffee in the town and good choices of desserts
Excellent salads wonderful friendly service my dessert was very dry not worth the price
We went there 3 times & loved their options.Delicious food & prompt service.
The day I came here I was sick the staff were really nice and their brownies are HUGE but still delicious Great service
Good food and the manager is really a professional and friendly person. A great place to eat and generally a great place to be.
Huge food!
The best cinnamon rolls in St. Louis. Big as a grapefruit. Big enough for two people. I force myself to eat the whole thing.
Great breakfast!
Love all three locations! Love the Kaldis coffee and they will make a salad to customize it to your preferences. A perfect place to grab dinner at the Fenton location.
The biggest cinnamon roll in St.Louis county ! Yum!
Food and service was amazing!!!
Food was great! Service was nice and friendly.
Love it!
Great food fast service unique selection
Good food, a pastries a bit pricey.
Won't go back. Overpriced and overcooked.
Great brunch spot! Wow the size of the cinnamon roll! The biscuits and gravy was superb but it came with arugula which was weird. Would recommend!
Must stop
Very busy. Very good. Bakery portion is always stocked with sweets and cakes. The people who work here have always been friendly to me whenever I come by. They get your food out pretty quickly even when busy. I haven't ever had a bad experience. They do use a type of square pay on iPads so if you're uncomfortable with that you may want to know. They only ever have one "lane" open for orders and seating is pretty much seat yourself they have a few booths but are usually full up pretty quick.
I eat here all the time. Their hash is the best
