Got piece of blackberry cheesecake and a chocolate cupcake then went to car. Cheesecake was delicious! Really couldn't tell you about the cupcake....cause my wife said it was so good that she didn't offer me a bite! And then she gets out of the car, goes back in and buys 1 dozen frozen chocolate cupcakes!! She did save me a bit of the icing...PHENOMENAL! Had one of the dozen a day later and it was, without any doubt whatsoever, the best chocolate cupcake I have ever had! If in New Albany, you must give this place a try!

The cooking class that they do on the last Sunday of the month is so fun!! We did the Pizza, Pasta & Gnocchi class. We purchased items from the bakery afterwards. Delicious!

Your bakery is the best one anywhere. Every flavor seems to get better. I received a caramel cake as a sympathy gift and it is extra delicious. We certainly are enjoying it. Thanks for baking such wonderful goodies!

No better place better to go for that sweet tooth craving. They are nationally recognized. Friendly and helpful staff. Easily the best cakes in town. You get what you pay for here. Wish they were open for dessert after dinner. But they close early so you have to already be prepared. They are great for catering and any type of party or event.

My son and I love Sugaree's Bakery. On our trip to New Albany, Ms from Seattle, Wa. We made three visits to "Sugaree's". I greatly enjoy the lemon tart and my son loves the cookies!!!

Everything is made with fresh, real ingredients! From the cookies, cupcakes, pies and cakes are melt in your mouth wonderful! Some complain that it is a little pricey, but it is worth it. A must stop at!

Amazing!!! I stumbled upon their IG page when I'd scroll through desert posts. I am so happy I did and that I finally went. I had the best red velvet cake and pecan pie I have ever eaten in my life. The frosting was soft and delicious, not too sweet, not too overpowering. The cake was moist and fluffy. Can't wait to go back again!

Sugaree's is the real deal: a small-town, high-volume bakery serving up cakes, pies, cookies, and ice cream so perfectly executed that many proud New Albany ladies have given up making homemade. Sugaree's cakes are shipped nationwide and can be found (at high prices) in upscale restaurants as far north as New York City. Lucky you -- if you're in New Albany, you can walk right up to the counter and pay hometown prices for some of the best desserts I've ever tasted. Anything with that impossibly tall merengue is a good bet (especially the chocolate pies), but it's the coconut cake (so moist! so perfect!) that has stolen my heart. Highly recommended.

I love this place ! My kids get so excited when they get to pick out a treat from the counter. The chocolate chip cookies are legit to DIE for. Either one of the cheese cake bars are legit orgasm in your mouth. I purchased a gift basket for my mother who lives in Chicago for Christmas last year and it was a HIT! I always recommend this place to people.
