I'm from Natchez, and called to place an order as a treat for a friend. Leah, the young lady who answered, was super nice! She gave me details of all the goodies they had and helped fill my order. She then called my friend to tell him he had a surprise waiting for him at Serious Bread. A+ service!!!!!

Just as the name suggest they are serious about thier bread. They offer a wide variety of bed loafs as well as cookies and muffins. I bought a loaf of thier jalapeno cheese bread. The clerk suggested making grilled cheese with it. I did and it turned out delicious.

First visit to Serious Bread was underwhelming. Very nice people, a nice selection of home-made breads. But the experience overall was average. The energy bar I bought was tasty enough, but it had a couple of pieces of pecan shell in it, which were large enough to chip a tooth. They didn't have fresh coffee ready. We waited for it and we ended up not liking the "regular" blend they brewed on the fly. We'll give them another try some day. It's the holidays so we understand cafes and retailers might be understaffed and not at their peak performance.

these fine folks really crank out real bread. name of the shop says it all. stop in and talk to Ed, he's down wit' the local history. I came thru onna' extended bike journey and needed the strong coffee and extra carbs. very welcoming to cyclists and walk-ins. ask about the fresh pesto!

The homemade sour dough sandwiches are extremely good. The wait, however, is RIDICULOUS. If you only have an hour for lunch, you may want to avoid this place.

Some seriously good bread. We tried a loaf of the garlic rosemary sourdough, and it was amazing. It had no preservatives, and maintained such a wonderful flavor for the 3 days I ate it.The service was nice, and the options are amazing. They also serve lunch. A wonderful experience

I stumbled onto this place a couple of years ago while visiting a friend. I come back every time I visit. The items they sell are wonderful. Today, they had a frosted king cake in their fridge. Oh my goodness!!! It was heavenly!! Can't wait to go back. The folks that work there are great!

Excellent breads and pastries, all made from scratch and that magnificent starter dough. Their garlic flat bread is superb but only available on Saturday and Sunday. Cookies are outstanding and HUGE! I gave if four instead of five stars for two reasons: 1) their sourdough is relatively dry, and 2) their cinnamon rolls are a disappointment (again, relatively dry and overcooked and not much cinnamon at all). Otherwise, we stop by Serious every time we're in Bay St Louis.

Showed up late afternoon with a group of hungry teenagers on a day they weren't making sandwiches. The lady there was gracious enough to bend the rules and fix us all some of the very best chicken salad on fresh bread sandwiches we've ever had. Then she sent us on our way with cookies, muffins and scones that were simply beautiful and amazing. Service was quick and friendly. Shop was warm, cozy, quaint and felt like home. Will definitely stop back in if we ever pass by again.

They had great sandwiches and sales on the pastries...but i could only eat the sour dough due to gluten sensitivity. I didn't have much problem and the jalapeno cheese was worth it - yum! Service was great too!

An amazing Bakery in downtown Bay st. Louis. They have all different assortments. Each day is a slightly different assortment with specialty breads on the weekends. Their prices are somewhat the same however each day there may be some Dale's on day old bread. Loved the Sourdough French Bread.

Stopped in while visiting my sister this past weekend and walked out with scones, energy bars, and an oatmeal raisin cookie as big as a saucer! The attendant was very pleasant and helpful. I got one bite of the cookie and it was tasty, the bar is very good, but the scones are simply delish! I will definitely have to stop in again when I visit!

They seem to only have a few kinds of bread when you go. If you like rosemary in your breads it's the place for you. They have other breads on the board but never seem to have it in the store.

This place has THE best muffins and cookies, and now they even offer breakfast sandwiches and coffee. Parking might be considered a shortcoming, but a spot almost always opens up if you just "make a block".
