I recently tried this bakery when a student brought in the petite four cakes ( I believe that's what they are called). They are tiny square cakes with a tasty icing on top of it. It literally melts in your mouth. They have delicious brownies that they call chess pieces. They are all super tasty and they have a variety of cookies as well. I suggest that it is better to preorder what you want if you are looking for specific designs or quantity because I walked in and wasn't able to get everything I wanted. Highly recommend for people with a sweet tooth!!!

My grandma bought my 5 yr old birthday cake here. I'm 58 now and I'm get a "strange" feeling about this place.I won't be back.(good brownies.All other too sweet and overpriced ). I'm too sweet to go here

The cake tasted like Jiffey Mix cornbread and I was totally embarassed passing it out at my father's 50th birthday party that I hosted for him. I did not know it tasted so bad until my boyfriend ask me have I tasted it and I said no and he made me taste it. I looked around and everyone just left the cake sitting around the tables. It was horrible and embarrassing to me. I think the people at the bakery provides excellent customer service and they gave me a full refund but I still say they NEED to work more on how the cake taste more so than how it looks. Everything that look good is not good.

This is where we go for brownies, and I enjoyed my birthday cake from here. Employees are nice. Just hate that it is next door to our wonderful barber. My son expects goodies from there each time he gets his hair cut. So I get a slice of cake each time too. The brownies a decadent.

I have been here only a few times. My wife and I stumbled across this little bakery while exploring the Fondren area. I suppose I shouldn't give a 5-star review based on only one product, but that's how much I love their cookies! They make little Mississippi-shaped sugar cookies with almond icing. The icing is where the magic happens. I love them so much.

Delicious petit squares. But each little bite sized goodie was $2!!! The exterior is cute and pink. The interior looks gross and old, could use some cleaning up atleast if they are opting for an antique vibe. Options will be super limited if you go near closing time. I went here just to try this place but seriously y'all calm down with the prices!! This is Jackson, Mississippi obviously not San Francisco. Probably wont be returning here.

Great service! Ordered a birthday cake in February (order early!) and it was by far the best cake I've ever gotten from a bakery. Snickerdoodle cookies are some of the best I've ever had. Tea cake cookies are a must as well, love the changing designs!

Sorry, our BD cake was not up to par. I called and let them know and they did offer to refund the money. It was just very disappointing to pay $65 for a cake for an important date, and it be dry. You can't reimburse that. I did get another pastry while there and it was wonderful. And our office regularly gets BD cakes and they have always been good. I guess we all have bad days.

Out of state first time visitors. Got a good assortment of items for our family of five. The sugar cookie was just a sugar cookie. The chocolate chip cookie did not taste homemade. The brownie was flat and dry. The caramel bar was just a blondie with a little glaze on top. The chocolate cupcakes (one with chocolate icing, one with vanilla icing) were dry. They crumbled as soon as you started to peel off the cupcake liner, and a good size chunk stuck to the paper. They had some cake slices individually wrapped, and after asking, we were told they were vanilla cake with vanilla icing. We bought 2 pieces. Four of us could not figure out the flavor or what was wrong with the cake. It was kind of spongy and had a funky taste. Even my 3 year old did not want to eat it. We also got a petit fours, and it by far was the best item. Wish we would have gotten more of those. After $25 of disappointing treats, we won't be back.

Delicious cookies and brownies. The also do petit fours. They have two locations; one in Fondren and one in Madison. They can do special orders if you need something made specially for a party; the special orders will be pricy but tasty. They will also sell discount baked goods if something has been sitting around for two days or if some cookies broke; not a bad deal.

This is a nice little bakery in a fun part of town. They have a specialty tea cookie with almond icing. If it's your first time in the basket, they will give you one of these cookies for free, too, so be sure to check that out. My husband loves the tea cookies! Support your local shops.

We absolutely love this place!! The staff is always amazing, the stuffed cookies are our go to, but the chess bars and blondies are amazing too. If you see the "next day" grab and go, GRAB ONE!! They're still so good the next day!

Heed my warning regarding Campbell's Bakery as I consider this a red alert. I normally dont get on reviews and rate any family owned business but I am so appalled with my experience that I HAVE to do this one. I recently placed an order (Sept.5, 2018) for my young son a custom birthday cake (beyblade style) along with some cupcakes. Well, I explain myself clearly to the person who took my order and she explain to me over the telphone that she would be able to accommodate my request for a red beyblade cake by this Friday. I was so relieved. At this point, she explain to me that the price of the CUSTOM made cake and cupcakes would come to a total of $108.29. I totally thought that because it is a customized cake- that was the reason for the price beings high. I traveled to Campbell Bakery to retrieved my cake that I purchased and paid for over the phone in advance. Well, she handed me the cupcakes 3 boxes (36 miniature cakes) which I was under the impression from our phone call... as well as the price, would be normal size cupcakes. I then had to ask her about the cake. Her comment to me was, "oh I forgot." So she handed me this SMALL sized white box which I though were some more cupcakes. I told the lady thank you and I was in a rush and went on my way. I normally check before I leave any store but i had so much confidence on this company. Such as reviewing the posting pictures of custom made birthday, cakes they have created. Also a logon i have read "When picking a theme for your children's party some people just commit. And we are happy to help them in that commitment." These are the typed words coming from this company and posted on their website. I walked to my car and open the small sized cake box to look at the cake and was not impressed at all (see attached picture). I have paid $108.29 for what was supposed to have been a custom cake which was not a beyblade style & cupcakes that looked like teacup. Just one teir round cake covered in red icing. I did put several white cadles on the cake. If you are getting 5 star from one families and posting it. That mean you are given your 100% work. Just by looking at this cake, you did not give my service 100% percent. I would not have been in question if you would have given me a call to say, I can not make a red beyblade cake. I am not asking for a feed back from this owner and post information in her defense. Truly I am not. This was my first experience. Listen people, I am telling you from experience, start doing your research and read others reviews. I will from this point on take heed to those who post their bad experience or somewhat bad experience with company who misled customer on their login meaning what kind of service they provide and I am urging you to do the same. When you see one/ maybe multiples bad views on a company, dont ignored that rating like I did. The cakes/cupcakes that I purchased were horrible and taste were horrible. Taste like corn meal cake. Smh Lesson learned.

I have loved Campbell's my whole life. I will say that some of the previous owners have been better than others, but the current owner and staff have really got it together. I walk in for petit fours and tea cakes pretty regularly. They are exceptional! I have also special ordered cakes and other goods for showers and birthday parties and I have had great customer service every time. I will say that not everyone likes their cake recipe, but that is not a reflection on Campbell's service or quality of goods- just simply not everyone's "cup of tea."

We had the best experience in Jackson, MS. Everywhere we went the people were amazing. So, no surprise that at Campbell's we had a great server there too. We ended up buying a lot more than we wanted, because she kept giving us free samples of stuff and it was so good, we just kept going!! Now, 10 lbs later, I'm very happy! The sweets are very sweet, for sure. I could only eat half of an item at a time. But I'm not normally a sweet eater anyway. The only problem was, we got there too late and most of the stuff was gone but I guess that's really a good thing!!

This is a wonderful bakery located in the heart of Fondrens historic section. It has a very old school look and way of doing things but their food is great as well as their customer service. Their prices are good also.

I was told when I ordered my cake that I would never go to another bakery, well I will. This is all my mother wanted was a bakery cake from y’all. I told her that I hoped that it tasted as good as it smelled. Saturday we went to Greenville to celebrate. I showed her the cake, she said it was pretty and it smelled good. I said it is supposed to be a 10in round, looks small, well let’s see. She gets the tape measure out and it is just past 8in. she took one bite and shook her head, she said that is nasty. It was so strong with almond flavor and so gummy that we could not eat It, it was like the cake was not cooked all the way. We had 13 people there to celebrate and a cake not worth feeding to the dogs. We had half the cake left and I asked her what she wanted to do with it, she said throw that nasty thing away. I apologized to her and said well you wanted to try them, because you saw their ad so much. Now you know. We will never use them again!! Why was the cake so gummy? Why would you tell me that it would be a 10in round and give me an 8in.? I paid $35.00 for a cake I did not get and could not eat… Very disappointed in the service and quality of your products.
