I was invited here for my birthday, and I loved it. I never knew it existed. Haha. I saw it a few days later rolling through I-55, and I was like wow that looks like a bank from the old days. I got the po boy catfish with Gumbo soup. It's a very wonderful place and the people are lively. Thank you Broad Street for a cool birthday lunch.

My personal experiences mostly include the home-baked artisan bread which I adore. The sugar Buster the pumpernickel the whole wheat all are amazing. The five stars however are for the baked goods and Confections which are the best to be found in this area and in most areas. They have some Specialty Products that they have fine-tuned into a sweet piece of bliss. Trust me. When you want a dessert, something to go with your coffee in the morning, or a sweet snack in the afternoon there's nowhere else to go to get it

My friends and I have gone twice in the last 2 or 3 weeks. Always impressed, sandwiches are all a great deal and big enough to share. I tried a few of the desserts and amazing! I recommend the Chicken BLT sandwich, Gold Rush Bar, Key Lime tart and the Tiramisu. That's all i have tried so far.

Stopped off here during a long road trip. Food was good. They have a ton of baked goods and even some gluten free options. The coffee options were great also. They have free WiFi which is a nice perk. The only thing that I could nit pick about was that the music inside the cafe is a tad loud. We ended up eating outside just to get some conversation in during our meal.

Maybe a month ago I would give 5 stars. I've just had multiple bad experiences since November. Everything has been great except the eggs. I always loved their eggs more than anything. My most recent experiences were filled with cold eggs and brown spots in my eggs. I still love this place, just not the eggs.

We visited as tourists on a whim while driving through Jackson, and we were not disappointed in the slightest. The place smells amazing, first of all. Then you bite into your food, and you're intoxicated by deliciousness. The Portobello Vegetable Sandwich was truly one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. Plus the side salad was refreshing - made with what seemed to be freshly-cut-and-baked Rye croutons. And don't forget those bakery items! It'd be a sin to pass up one of their cookies. I tried the chocolate chip, and it really was divine.

I upped my rating to 3 starts bc the staff reached out to my complaints and the quiche is better, but it still needs work on sandwiches and I went a few times to make sure it was not just me. I wish I could rate higher bc they were nice, but that is my rating. Best thing is kids eat free night and honor pay on coffee for busy people.

We decided to stop here while driving through Jackson for breakfast. The service was fast, staff was very kind, welcoming, and helpful. The food was amazing!! I had a breakfast quiche, which I've never seen served before. They also had a great selection of desserts and coffee. It's a great place if you like books. Lemuria, cozy bookstore, is on the second floor! Would absolutely come back again.

Nice place. Atmosphere is quaint and open. A lot of natural light. Regular quiche was good wish it had been heated all the way through. Black bean, asparagus, and andouille sausage soup was great. I knew I liked all things separate, was not sure about together. The blondie was hard. Wish it had been softer. Reminds me of Panera, but bigger and with more food selection. They offer gluten sensitive options too.

We ate twice this weekend. Once on the way to New Orleans and once on the way back to Memphis. The food is excellent breakfast items. The bakery seemed to be rocking with orders. I think the sticky buns are supposed to be the hot item but we didn't get a chance to order some, maybe next time. Either way, a nice find for a mid road trip stop.

We love Broadstreet. We would probably eat there 3 times a day on the weekends if we could. They are always running a promotion and they are awesome for the Jackson area. Try the Smoked Chicken BLT on focaccia bread. It's great! Also, check out their seasonal king cakes. We love the Savory Crawfish King Cake with Jalapeno Bread!

Have heard great stuff but the $14 personal pan pizza I got was not only burned but I asked for light sauce and got extra. Im also gluten sensitive and the crust was terrible. They also don't offer lactose free cheese for us who are also lactose intolerant. Don't waste your money.

I loved this place! In town for business, I got a simple croissant sandwich, and for me, those are the things that can either be awful or amazing. Ive been places where the croissant is soggy or the ham is rubbery, this sandwich was great. Everything was fresh and crispy, the coffee was great and the personnel were very friendly. I'll be coming back tomorrow for breakfast as well.

It was pretty good. I ordered the chicken biscuit and specifically asked for the glaze and mine arrived with no glaze. The biscuit was really soft but the chicken was just meh. My son had the chocolate drizzled/filled croissant and he liked it a lot. The Pecan Praline coffee was yummy. I ordered a cappuccino chocolate chip muffin to go and I tried it; it will be pretty good too. I'll go back and try something else next time.

Clean restaurant. Slow counter service. Crack pie was too sweet for my taste, and the sugar cookie was bland and dry. Both fall under the not-worth-the-calories category. Everyone else seemed to be buying loaves of bread, so maybe that's where their magic is.

More like this, please: a bright, media-savvy local bakery that's been serving up honor-system coffee, breakfast burritos, superb little pizzas, fresh breads, and an alarming array of sweet treats -- all of superior quality -- for two decades. Best of all, it's still going strong, and it's as vibrant and beloved as ever. We stopped in for the first time since moving away nine years ago, and we were so happy that Broad Street continues to be everything we always loved. Highly recommended.

I like this place. There's always someone hanging out who I know; it's downstairs from an excellent bookstore (Lemuria); the food is good; the environment is conducive to conversation. A good place to hang out and get your carb cravings filled.

Very friendly service. When I asked how things work, my first visit, everything was explained and certain items were recommended based on my appetite. A smile never left Jamies face. (the kind cashier that took my order) The atmosphere is fairly loud. However, that just means good business. All staff were serving with smiles. Even the kitchen crew were smiling. Which means they enjoy their jobs. Will be returning.

Been going there for years. Was there Monday with daughter. Was mid morning. Diner at next table sent food back. My croissant was too tough to cut with a knife. Daughters veggie quiche inedible. No soap in bathroom. Many tables cvered with computers. Biscuits gummy on two visits. Sorry to see it go down. Oh, coffee good!

My first time here and I will be coming back with friends ! Gluten free options and I ordered something not realizing it might contain gluten, the server informed me of the possibility and offered to let me order another side. Wonderful customer service. Everything tasted so fresh and original. Loved the chicken wrap. Loaded with chicken and black beans. The tea fresh and awesome coffee. Plenty of room for seating. Area was clean. The tables were constantly being cleaned up as soon as someone left. Bakery products look delish !

Enjoyed the selection s on the menu. Plenty of vegetarian options, including 6 variations on avocado toast. My daughter was thrilled with all of the bakery goods and had a sticky buns that pleased her immensely. The Americano was the only downside. Were I to visit again, I would just order the house coffee.

What a perfect road trip stop for our girls trip from Michigan! I picked this place for the huge variety of menu options, but in the end we all chose sandwiches because there were so many good ones. Everyone was delighted with their order. I got a cheesecake slice to go - more expensive than I expected but delicious! Highly recommend the food and service here.

This is my favorite breakfast spot in town. Their croissant breakfast sandwiches are always good, and the grits are better than most. The staff is always friendly and work very hard to make your visit a pleasant one. The bakery items are quite good and lunch sandwiches are also good. My only complaints: the coffee could be better, the breakfast potatoes not good, and my wife's French toast was awful. Avoid those and you'll have a pleasant meal.

Food is okay. The togo sucks always get togo from there because it is very convenient for me and 10/10 it is wrong. I think what just makes it worse is that they don't care. I understand making a mistake no-one is perfect. But over and over and over just gets very annoying. This is just the part that amazed me she got the cookie wrong which okay no biggie its a cookie. But when I went and took it back she said to me "they accidentally mixed the batches together sorry " I just looked at her and said your gonna kill someone thank god i wasn't allergic to chocolate. Because the cookie I got looked like a regular oatmeal raisin cookie but when you bit in to it it had chocolate all up in it. Just amazed me they knew the batters somehow got mixed and she still gave me the cookie.

I only give this place two stars because they own Bravo!. My favorite restaurant. I was so dissatisfied with my experience here. It attracts all of the pretentious Jacksonians. We had two families try to cut in front of us in line, and when we didn't allow it they looked at us like we were crazy. The service was pretty decent. And the food was okay. But they need to seriously work on their systems to optimize customer experience. I was very disappointed, because I was expecting bravo quality service and food.

We must have gone at a busy time of day because there was a line. Even with three registers open it was a bit chaotic. The place was very clean and had great customer service. A great place to meet up with friends and enjoy great food. Whether you're getting a chicken biscuit in the morning, sandwich or soup for lunch, or quiche for dinner, it's hard to go wrong here. Don't forget the desserts! As a long-time patron, I am a little saddened by the focaccia recipe changing a few years back. It took one of their better sandwiches (the honey-smoked turkey) from great to just good. The Good: - Fast service - Staff is super-friendly and attentive - Clean, family-friendly - The food... any of it The Bad: - A little pricey for some people - Can be really crowded and busy at times

We called in an order 20 minutes ahead of time only to get there and wait another 15 minutes. Bread was thrown into the bag to just float around with the utensils. Decided to check them out since there were high reviews but was already disappointed before even getting to taste the food (of course had to throw the bread away since it was just sitting in a bag)

Breakfast is overly priced and the gentleman who took our orders was short with us. If it was my first experience with him I wouldn't bother mentioning but this is e every time I'm visit Jackson. Broad Street has the best baked goods so next time I'm I town I'll just avoid placing my order with him. My family have been customers for many years but let it be known one bad apple has the potential to spoil the bunch.

We stopped here traveling from St.louis to Alabama and I'm glad we did! The woman that took our order was amazing! She took the time to explain the different menu items to us and answered all of our questions. The breakfast was really good and we love the relaxed atmosphere. We can't wait to visit again (soon I hope!)
