$10 for a veggie sandwich and they won't even put it on baguette bread. I placed an online order and the guy called me to tell me that. He offered it to me on a bread made with eggs instead and I cannot have eggs. Absolutely ridiculous considering that they did it the last time I went in there. They lost a customer who works a few blocks away because they "don't do baguette bread on sandwiches". They are the only restaurant I have ever been to that doesn't. Especially when they did it before! I was willing to get an overpriced sandwich because they are pretty decent but they don't even let you have your food the way you want it. The worst part is the last time I went there I ordered my sandwich the same way and they put the cheese on it even though I went into the restaurant to order and said to the woman's face "no cheese". She even read the order back to me. I didn't call to complain and still decided to go back. So ridiculous, I will never go back.

Amazing bakery, great food, great coffee, beautiful decor. Huge interior, for good reason- this place gets busy. It's not hard to figure out why. Huge menu selection to choose from, and it's all good. If you're looking for quality bakery goods or just a coffee break, this is your place. A bit on the expensive end, but the quality shows.

The waiter was friendly and even brought a few slices of bread and a free cookie for my wild one and a half year old son. The food was delicious. We met over lunch and all the well-shaded areas on the patio were full so we moved inside and my son wanted to be outside the whole time so needless to say it was a bit stressful. The place carries a lot of sound which was good in that nobody noticed my son whining the whole time, but also contributed to the chaos of the moment. I will say they did their upmost to accommodate a young child, but probably would only go with a adults in the future or a child that can sit still for an hour.

The coconut cake is to die for! I even took it to London UK and got shouts of delight! It is YUM Beats all other bakeries around. They should keep making cakes. Almond, hazelnut, walnut, all types of nut cakes like in the Old World has.

Lovely space. We went for dessert. Selection was a bit slim. Desserts were very sweet and rich and portions quite large. No lighter or healthier options available. Something lighter, like a small pana cotta or fruit cobbler would be nice to serve here.

I want to give this place four stars because it's well kept, clean, the food is well cooked, and it's a nice location. However, the menu doesn't excite me. Most of the meals I have had here are fairly flavorless. Chips way too greasy, fruit a little old, chicken somewhat dry... I think that eating here will be consistently fulfilling, though, so I'd keep coming back. Not a place I'll ever crave, unless they spice up their menu (literally and figuratively).

Excellent food, quick friendly service. We had the salmon scramble and it was excellent: very moist, salted perfectly, potatoes were perfectly sauteed. This location also has great outdoor seating; you hear traffic, but you don't see it.

Really good tasty food, friendly service and hip, stylish and clean seating area. We had the California scrambled eggs dish which was good, especially their breakfast potatoes. But their french toast was the exceptional dish for breakfast. It was amazing. I got that with a side of 2 scrambled eggs which was really good as well They serve Peace Coffee here. I got the tuna burger here before and it was good.

Got a latte roasted half chicken dinner in the Mahi mahi tacos. I'm times past I quite enjoyed him however based on our visit yesterday on November 3rd, I don't think we will be back anytime soon. The roasted half chicken dinner was decent the chicken a bit dry but I can get around that. The Latte I'll have to say was decent. The mahi-mahi tacos are served with a filet of mahi mahi atop remain lettuce, with cojita cheese and what seem to be more pico de gallo atop ( I'm assuming this is the baja sauce? ). You also get a side of 3 corn tortillas. It is a $15 menu item. The mahi-mahi was incredibly dry and smelt fishy.. (not a good fishy) the flavor was very Bland however what I believe we're fresh diced jalapenos added at least a little hint of heat. I didn't appreciate having to cut up the fish and try to dish the long strains of romaine lettuce into a corn tortilla. I'm not an overly fancy person however when I order tacos I kind of expected well tacos... instead I was served a small side salad(?) with mahi mahi in 3 tortillas. This dish does not come with anything else. I feel the asking price did not fit the value and quality of the menu item or the Ambiance of the restaurant. Needless to say I was expecting a lot more from yum!. They also do not have gluten-free options or at least that is what the register gal informed us. So sadly to say I was not pleased and will likely not be back. If anybody wants some good tacos though go to Taco cat...

Very very expensive for sub-par baked goods, I tried the banana muffin which was nothing special and had too many chocolate chips for my taste, the apple kuchen was okay but seemed bready and my mom got the caramel pull apart cake thing and was dissatisfied with how much bread there was and the dryness of it, almost like it was a day or two old. Honestly as a Baker myself, I'd never spend that kind of money on these again, but as an average Joe, itd be an okayish splurge.

I wanted to be wowed, but was extremely disappointed. On a Wednesday at 12:45 in the afternoon the parking lot is a dangerous place to be. Professionals are whipping in and out of parking spots. The cashier was very impatient with me when I simply asked "do you have a kids menu?" The chicken noodle soup was extremely bland. My kids wouldn't eat the chicken tenders or soup! My Chinese chicken salad was just ok. Other than the pretty decor and bright colored treats this place leaves much to be desired.

I placed an online order at 7:15 am for a Salmon Goddess Salad. My pick up time was set for 8:00 am. Got there at 8:00 am and the salad was not ready. They started assembling the salad just after I paid. Waited 15 minutes. Extremely disappointed in the lack of time management. I only have a 20 minute break; took me 3 minutes to drive there, wait 15 minutes, 3 minutes drive back. Rating this experience a 1-star because the wait time was disappointing. I pre-ordered well in advance and did NOT expect to wait as long as if dining in. Overall, the salad was pricey but good.

We heard this place had really good deserts, so I made a special trip to YUM. The selection was smaller than I expected, but the deserts truly were delicious. I bought a bunch of different things to try and share with the family. It works out great because everyone can try some of everything without having to eat an entire desert. The chocolate chip cookies are the size of your head and sooo good. The YUM cupcake (which was highly recommended) was really moist. I dont think I've ever had a cupcake so good. The chocolate ganache was maybe just a bit much for me...perhaps it was the texture. The inside was full of marshmallow cream. At first, that didn't sound the best to me...but after trying it I was so happy I did because it was amazing. We also had a chocolate cupcake with vanilla frosting, a nut goody bar, a slice of "paddy cake" and a lemon cookie. I would totally visit YUM again to grab some deserts. Worth the 30 minute drive. Also cant wait to try the other food on the menu. It all looks delicious!

This place is just the best for some great food in the morning. It is usually so laid back and the food is really good. The staff is always nice and more than accommodating if you need something. This is one of my favorite places to come and just expect to have a great time and great food. I don't know of why you can't get more places like this around.

Variety, variety, variety paired with amazing high quality equals one terrific place to dine! From bakery to breakfast and dinner, lunch and basically anything in between, Yum! has got what you need. The dining area is open and roomy, causal but not too lax, plus that view of the kitchen it's always a plus. And you can even get it to go, quickly! Fantastic.

what is there to say. good pastries and fries, but the rest was a disaster. the streak sandwich was burnt and flavorless, the Reuben fell far short, all you can taste is overpowered sauerkraut, the meat had no flavor and i couldn't tell if it had dressing on it. the chicken noodle soup tasted like just noodles, no other real taste. and the pickle was still just a cucumber that tastes like a cucumber. was no where near the quality a $40 meal should be. bottom line, a trendy spot lacking any type of flavor and prices way to high.

Tried it for the first time last week and was impressed with the speed they moved everyone through. I had the tomato soup and grilled cheese. The soup was a hearty tomato soup and the grilled cheese was made with a few different types of cheese. It definitely hit the spot on a cold winter MN day. The only thing I disliked was the seat. I was basically eating lunch with an elderly couple I didn't know. Kind of strange to be seated that close to someone. Other then that it was good. I want to return to try their baked goods as they look amazing.

Very tasty food and excellent presentation. A fun, classy and plenty of seats main room with an attached patio. Extremely friendly and professional staff. They informed me my first pizza had been accidentally cooked too long so it was overly crispy. They would make a new one, and wondered if I wanted anything like watermelon or a soup while I waited. After waiting for my replacement pizza (which was delicious and perfectly crispy), I was met with the surprise of the pizza being taken off my bill. Big fan.

Overpriced for the quality and quantity of food. Quality control is poor. Been there twice for sandwiches. Each time i had to have them remade. One of them was for moldy bread. The sandwiches were slapped together. They fell apart when attempting to eat them. Makes for a poor eating experience I gave them two stars instead of one because the menu and the ingredients are actually good. For the extra $$ you should expect the food to be prepared properly Poor Food Preparation = Poor Kitchen and Staff management

Really disappointed in my first and only experience here. Arrived at 10:50, waited for a table to open up for my family of 5. Got in line and ordered our food, paid for it and sat down. My husband was waiting for our drinks when someone told him they weren’t serving breakfast anymore. We were there before the 11am cutoff and sat in line waiting to order breakfast. Not our problem things are running slow. We asked for a refund and left. I looked at my watch....it was 11:03. Most places accommodate people that are waiting to order if they have a “cutoff” time. Very rude and disappointing.

I love Yum’s Bakers Wife Chocolate Cake. Definitely my favorite thing on the menu. It is the best slice of chocolate cake I’ve ever had. Very nice and chill restaurant and bakery for any occasion. Staff are always friendly. I do wish they had combo options that included fries but other than i have nothing negative to say about Yum. It’s quality matches it’s pricing and I’ve never been disappointed

Very good food and service. It’s counter service yet the recipes require you to fill out a tip line. That’s a bit awkward. I wouldn’t tip and Panera so I don’t tip here, but I feel cheap not doing so. Maybe I’m in the minority.

We love Yum, both this location and the one near Uptown. we've been eating at Yum for years and have always enjoyed ourselves. We often come just for dessert and share a Ranger cookie. They also serve some great French Fries with various sauces. I also like the burger, the pizzas and the tuna melt. There's not much to complain about, just a great restaurant. Stop by for a fun summer meal.

I always get the Ruben sandwich here, but almost tried the Baked Potato Pizza! The Ruben is really good but it comes with chips, not fries. The only bummer is you have to order fries on the side and they aren't cheap, but they are a lot! Would prefer they have a side replacement available for $1 more or so.

Yum surprisingly serves the best burger in Minnesota, and I have been everywhere (Nook, Parlour, Matts etc.). Get the burger grilled with muenster cheese and you wont be disappointed.

Always a pleasure! Great for dates, meetings, or group gatherings. The counter service enables you to order separately or together. I always have a hard time deciding between their delicious breakfast and lunch options. I always feel like I've had plenty to eat without feeling guilty about the food since there are so many healthy options and alternatives. Tip: If it's busy have someone in your party scope out a table!

Great food! We love this place! The food, as stated, is solid, but it's the PATTY-CAKE desert that really shines! Hands down best cake Ive had in MN. 4-stars because the service has either gotten our order wrong, or completely forgotten items, over the last few visits. They do seem to try to make it right when they get it wrong.

The menu didn’t look all that good and pics of food only made me more doubtful. The menu doesn’t really have a very consistent theme. They just kind of have...stuff. That dancy shmancy tuna is out of a can. I just ordered fries and a cup cake. The fries came out supersoggy and gross. The sauces were good. My friends ordered various sandwiches and said they were good but very small. The cupcake was pretty good but since they didn’t give any silverware, it was hard to eat. It was rather large and melted quickly (we sat outside). The atmosphere was loud. Everything echos really bad in the restaurant. Having an outside seating area was nice. Overall thought is...meh. Wont be going there again.

Nice bakery, fits in well with Minnetonka. It's a bit pricey but it's upscale and they do pay attention to details. Things like an outdoor firepit and they provide blankets for it. The food is good, but when it's a minimum of $3 for a pastry item it's not like I'm picking up a dozen to bring to work anytime soon. All in all, my wife loves it - good place for some moms to meet up and get comfortable. Just not my favourite.

Good location with proper parking. Noisy place (no real ceiling other than a factory-style metal roof). Uncomfortably hot and humid. Owners spent a minimal amount to make this place comfortable. Lousy selection in the baked goods area, unless you are in love with cupcakes and cookies. Coffee was good. Service & prices average. Overall not a very pleasant experience.

Scrambled egss were burnt. Pretty easy to see when eggs are burnt, no reason to serve them. So salt on the food or at the table.

I really really love the food at Yum. This is a new location for me. I went there hoping to eat on their outdoor patio with friends. Unfortunately, the weather wasn't good. The noise inside during the lunch hour was very uncomfortable. We had difficulty hearing one another. Management might want to look into this.

Nice option for a quick lunch. Gets a little packed at lunch time but the staff is competent and takes care of the crowd always with a smile. The prices are reasonable and the menu interesting. My favorite is the ahi tuna burger.

Delicious food including a great selection of baked goods! Very accommodating and welcoming we were a group of 8 new moms with Baby carries and the management thanked us for meeting there. We had good space to gather and never felt rushed. Excellent service!

Can't go wrong with a meal at yum!. Quality food. And their desserts -- let's just say, that is where the name "yum!" comes from. They have some great staples as well as a rotation of other options. We are always sure to get a few extra treats to take home after our meal!

I love Yum! as they always have great food. This location can get pretty noisy during busy times as there is nothing to dampen the sound at all. And those busy time are certainly that. The prices are little on the expensive side, but the food is always very good so I can't complain too much.

Modern, snazzy, self-order to get it to your table. Plenty of salads, sandwiches and a few soup options to choose from. Loved the dilled egg salad. Lovely bakery as well with the chocolate cake being my favorite.

Just love this spot! Perfect place for a delicious breakfast or lunch. Bakery items are always fresh and scrumptious. Lunch is delightful and a great selection of favorites. The tuna burger is great, and although nothing fancy, the egg salad is to die for! Great place to meeting up with friends, bringing the kids, or having a casual work meeting. Don't forget to take home a few cookies before you leave!
