I'm never disappointed when I go to the Perkins in Eagan for a late dinner (10:30 or later). I always receive excellent service! I love the 2 pork chops (no seasonings or sauces), rice pilaf & asparagas. And, I bring home a slice of lemon merangue pie for a guaranteed yummolicious breakfast!!

This place is run by the most outstanding store manager I've ever seen in this kind of establishment I've heard her coaching and training the staff there several times as me and my wife go there almost every week for breakfast I am so impressed by her attitude of ownership and leading by example from shoveling snow off the sidewalks and handicapped parking to buying supplies for the store (I've bumped into her a couple times at OfficeMax) she runs this store like an owner not an employee! WAY TO GO AMANDA!!!

We had to wait to be seated while the host bussed two more tables and we didn't sit at either of those tables, we just waited. There were only 3 tabled being used, no big rush. After our order was taken, 20 minutes later we were told that our order was lost and we had to reorder. My wife's soup came cold and the waiter forgot to bring my son's pie. Nothing was adjusted on the bill, we were still charged full price. No tip and we won't be back.

Arrived at 5:55. Waited 15 minutes to get waited on. In that time, two other couples were seated in our area. As we waited, one of those couples that was seated 5 minutes after we were seated, got waited on. It was not busy, the restaurant was not even half full. We r in town for CWS, staying next door at the Candlewood Suites. Have had several meals at Perkins. The food is very good and reasonably priced. Our waitresses and waiter (Sammy, April, Charlie) have been excellent. Not to mention the manager Javier, so kind and considerate. For sure we will be back.

We were hungry. I mean, we got food into our bodies, but it was dry and a bit bland. The coffee was stale. We had to ask multiple times for things we never received. I'm not mad at it, it seemed like a lot of new people were there, but for as empty as it was you would hope to have a better experience. The tables around us were returning food, and that didn't really surprise us. I like Perkins as a company, but I would not come back to this one.

Very slow service, have currently been waiting for over a hour for food and have seen the waitress twice. Manager seems completely unconcerned. **Did eventually get luke warm and cold food. Definitely go to the Council Bluffs location as this one told me they are managed by another company. Way better experience there and worth the extra 10 minute drive.

We stopped in for a quick breakfast at 3am on our way to the airport (headed for Jamaica). The waitress was wonderful! I am very upset that I don't remember her name to giver her a shout out! But she was happy, smiling and just a good person! She checked on us just enough and when she learned we were headed to the airport, she stepped into high gear! Dropped check early, bagged our muffins, but never lost her edge! She remained a wonderful server! She also helped me get a LOT of mushrooms on my omlete

Everyone loves Perkins ! Great selection of foods, reasonably priced and the service is usually very good too. If they're busy and you have to wait either to get in or for your food, it's well worth it. We're always glad we stopped at Perkins!

We make it a point to come to Perkins whenever we are in the Midwest. This newer location in Carter Lake was top notch. The service was excellent. Our server was a young man named Tyler. He anticipated our needs and was more than accommodating. The food was everything we had hoped it would be and tasted just like it did back in the day! Free Pie Monday was the sweetest ending to our Perkins experience. 10/10 get the chicken tender melt.

OMG! Never had we been treated like that ever by a waitress starting with "M". Her demeanor toward us was downright rude. Just horrible. When I first saw her, was going to compliment her how cool her eyeglasses were and instantly she turned into a different person when she learned we couldn't hear. One thing led to other thing, everything (except the food) went wrong. First time in 40 years, I left without leaving a generous tip. My friend left no tip for her, too. She was not pleased with her service. We couldn't believe that she had a nerve to be sloppy and ignorant. We will come back for food and hopefully be served by another waiter/waitress.

Used to go there often with family. Let me just say, this place has been going down hill little by little. Visited today and the entire experience was just below average. Service was very bad, and the food wasn’t good at all. Food came out 5-10 min after ordering. Makes you wonder what kind of effort they really put into your meal. The eggs were raw and the waffle was over cooked. What really put the icing on the cake, was that all the utensils at the table were dirty! That’s disgusting, I really don’t think we will be returning to this Perkins.

Nice, new restaurant very close to the airport. Convenient for arriving or departing town and I have stopped both ways. Food and menu are standard Perkins fare. That means good to very good. Servers are friendly. Parking is plentiful. I do recommend it but if you have eaten at Perkins before, you know what to expect. Good food, in large proportions.

My husband and I had a very nice breakfast here today. My omlet was good although the meat and vegetables were mostly in the middle and the ends were empty. My husband liked his skillet too. We also tried an item off the strawberry menu that was pretty good. The restaurant was clean and the service was good and friendly.

I've been frequenting this Perkins for 8 YEARS and this is my first review on them. Usually the service is good and food pretty good but today my service was not good at all. I had to ask the waitress for so many things and both food orders came out wrong. So when i went to pay my bill and complain the girl at the counter looked like she could care less. When i said I'm not tipping,she shrugged her shoulders... The manager NEVER smiles at me or is courteous. She just takes my money. Smh,a more faithful consumer but Perkins may have lost a customer. Really turned off. And they took away breakfast potatoes and replaced it with something not tasty. I'm going to IHOP.

It’s disgusting, table was messy with salt all over it and pieces of garbage and the potato was salty and undercooked, as well as the salmon being over cooked, fork was literally as dirty as if someone ate from it, and the whole vibe was horrible. Service was super slow. There were 2-3 tables in the whole place and we were there over an hour and a half, most of it spent waiting. Waiting to be seated, waiting to order, waiting for drinks, waiting for our food, waiting for our check. We only come by there once a year when we fly to and from vacation. We are very tired when we get home and want to relax in a decent place before driving back to Des Moines. This trip was not that at all. We may need to rethink our return supper next year.

We are from out of town and staying at the La Quinta Inn down the street from this Perkins because my bf is doing some of the remodelling work at the hotel. We eat at this Perkins at least twice a week and it's usually pretty good food with great service. However, the past two times I have put a to-go order in here, I'm told 10-15 minutes for pick up, get there, find out our order was never even placed by the woman who answered the call, then have to wait another 30-45 mins for our food. It doesn't bother me too much, except this time after we finally got our food and brought it back, I saw that my food was extremely overcooked (steak was very dry and burnt) and we were missing a couple items. Disappointed in the past couple of visits.

This restaurant is a dichotomy when it comes to service and it appears to be based on the server. Most, if not all, of the servers are friendly and polite, however, some are quicker with service, food, refills of water or coffee, take home boxes, etc. A good family restaurant but try somewhere else if you're on a schedule.

We went there to surprise our mother with a visit from a sibling who lives out of town. The staff knew of the event and were helpful in keeping the surprise and making us feel welcomed! The wait staff was friendly and made sure we had enough condiments and napkins. The food was fresh and hot, and the bathrooms were very clean! My family appreciated how our waitress balanced between checking on us to make sure we had what we needed, and giving us time alone to enjoy one another. We will be back!

Three stars for the quality of the food but I give one star for the quality of the service. We waited 15 minutes to have our order taken then we waited 30 minutes to receive our food. We were told it was the kitchen staff who fell behind on the orders. I don't care who's fault it is the service was terrible. The wait staff practically ignored us and other customers. I do find the food to be tasty however almost all the meals are very high in sodium. For this reason I don't eat there as often as I would. When I do get to eat there a lot of the time one person will take my order but someone else will bring me my meal. There was a time when 3 different people other than the busboy had to bring me something that I requested. I am the type of person that prefers only one server to bring my meal to me with the exception of the busboy to bring some water. I hope that the CEO will one day to change some things that has less sodium. High sodium raises the blood pressure and can cause a heart attack.

I just experienced the single most ignorant encounter of my life at Perkins on Abbott Dr. I just left there because I wasn't allowed to order chicken fried steak and eggs. I can't make this up. One of the most popular breakfast meals on the planet can't be made in Omaha, NE during the college world series. Evidently the cooks have forgotten how to prepare and the servers have forgotten how to ring in chicken fried steak and eggs because the college world series is in town. You can only order 5 different options at Perkins right now because that's all they can figure out how to make during the college world series. I'm actually local to the area, but I'm embarrassed if somebody traveling here had the same experience and had to try to figure out why a foodservice business would allow someone to walk out without ordering. I'm sorry to anybody else locally or traveling to Omaha that has or will experience the same ignorance in the next 2 week's. As a city, the rest will not let you down. Enjoy your stay and please come back.

We like coming here for breakfast once in a while. We have been customers for a few years. The food is good, selection is good, friendly and, for most part, fast service. Recently there have been changes to the place that we could not appreciate. A couple of times we were sitted in the area where it was drafty. It was during winter, and it was very cold. The waiters couldn't do anything about it, claiming it was hot in the kitchen, and the staff had opened the back door and wouldn't close it. So we ate covering our legs with our jackets. The dinnerware and utensils are being replenished with newer, cheaper looking and less comfortable sets. Lately, a lot of people feel that it is necessary to talk on their phone in a video mode, so that everyone in the dining room feels as a part of that private conversation. It is loud and destructive to other people, not to say it is just disrespectful to other people's privacy. I mentioned to the meneger that may be they should ask their patrons not to use their phones on loud while inside. I mean, there is nothing wrong with them asking people to "wait here to be sitted". If there was a sign saying nicely to "please use your phone on a private setting while in the dining room out of respect of others", people would understand. However, the menager just refused to even discuss it. "What are you going to do? Everyone has phones nowdays", she said. Yes, but patrons' behavior should be controlled by the establishment. This is how they set the mood, the culture, the rules of social dinlg.

Food was good as always and our waitress was attentive. My only knock was that the tables were not cleaned properly. They had sticky spots. We changed tables three times. I also had to ask for utensils. Typically, they bring the silverware out when you sit down or have the pieces on the table. I think there was a shift change going on and that was why they were not as attentive as usual. I also had to pour out excess water from my coffee cup, which annoyed me.

I was initially disappointed that all Perkins Restaurants had closed down in Omaha, so I was pretty excited when I discovered one was opening up near the Airport. Although I was already a fan of Perkins, this particular location set the bar pretty darn high. The restaurant itself is fresh and clean, the decor is welcoming, and the staff are extremely pleasant to interact with. I have had the pleasure of eating there several times now and have never been let down. The location may not appeal to some, but it is well worth the drive out to the East side of Omaha for a quality meal. Especially, if you plan on hanging out anywhere near the downtown area, and are entertaining a place to eat, you aren't going to go wrong with this Perkins. Throw in the fact that they are open 24/7, and it is surely a go-to for those late night/early morning meals.

Terrible service and the food wasn't much to brag about either. Waited 20 minutes for a glass of water and coffee. And I had to flag down a hostess for that. Another 10 minutes before I could get another hostess to take my order. Food came fairly quickly after that. But I had to get my own silverware from another table as nobody ever put any on my table. Then had to flag down the waiter (10 minutes after finishing my forgettable breakfast) for the check. Then had to ask for someone to come take my money at the counter. Do not go here. Just too many other options that are far better. Even McDonald's would be a better option.

Beware! Prices have increased and food portions got smaller! They will not tell you about it until you ask. So, ask for your pricing ahead of times and check your pick up order before leaving. Came here for late breakfast/early lunch. Pretty extensive menu, a lot of choices. Order the spinach and mushroom skillet with egg whites on top which was very satisfying. Service was good and the place was clean. Parking lot is very small and crowded, ended up parking around the block which may be the only negative aspect of my visit but the fairly low prices on the menu more than makes up for it.

I ate here twice while I was visiting the area and the staff was incredibly friendly and informative. They got all the orders correct every time and they ensured service as quickly, efficiently and best as they could. I was with a big group both times and am sure that made the jobs a little more difficult for the waitresses however they were great at servicing with a smile and we were sure to leave generous tips for their amazing staff. I do not eat at Perkins often but this was a great location and the food was great both times as well. I would totally eat here again anytime I happened to be in the area. Thank you for the awesome service!!!

Waited 20 minutes to be seated and waited another 15 minutes for someone to come take drink orders it even acknowledge we were there—no one ever came! We watched them clean tables off, get tickets for other tables all while we held menus up and attempted to get their attention. After waiting for even someone to take drink orders, we finally walked out. There were lots of empty tables so they were not overly busy with a full house. Disappointed!

OMG, i never had so much fun eating at a restaurant. Our waitress Vicky was a gem from Heaven. She was very knowledgeable with the menu and knew how to get a laugh out of us. We had the pleasure of meeting the manager Javi, he took a moment to inform us about the restaurant and the future of other Perkins coming to the Omaha area. The food was prepared to our satisfaction. I loved my pancakes! I highly recommend Perkins, stop by next time your in downtown.

Always a nice place to eat any meal or just coffee and dessert. The food is always prepared to your liking. Coffee is excellent. And pies, muffins cookies better than any bakery. Prices are excellent. The only issue is the parking. It can be challenging especially at peak times. I live in NJ. Now but when ever I am in SI, I go to Perkins.

Good food and excellent service. The overnight waitress this am was managing tables alone, yet gave personalized welcoming service. The restaurant looks like a Panera bakery, clean and bright. Nice to have a breakfast stop in East Omaha.
