Wonderful baked goods and coffee to go.

The best coffee shop on this stretch of franklin. The egg sandwich is great.

Phenomenal food and service!

Every time I've been here they serve the French toast with frozen butter and the meal itself was obviously microwaved.

I love this place. I've been a few times and the food and beverage options are great. Good atmosphere. Good people. Why three stars? The hours. The hours don't make sense for a community like Seward. Staying open later would be heavenly. I myself would go there after I'm off work at 5 to have tea and do schoolwork on my computer. Please extend your hours.

Gem on Franklin. Love having this close by! : )

Great coffee, highly recommend ordering the Miel. Pastries were delicious. Ambience was perfect for a girls' brunch on Mother's day with a 4 month old and 5 year old.

Everything I have ordered has been terrific. Great quality and some creative flavors (like pumpkin brioche au chocolat). The coffee and espresso drinks are also delicious, which I've found to be no certain thing for a great bakery. Some outdoor seating too!

We have gone to this cafe many times. Lately the service and food has really gone down hill. My poached eggs were essentially hard boiled and our food was cold and overdone after waiting over a half hour for it. This was a very underwhelming breakfast. With so many other fantastic choices I don't think we will frequent Mon Petit Cheri in the future.

Charming decor with soundtrack by The Current, I thoroughly enjoyed a slice of the delightful banana chocolate chip bread while waiting on my sandwich. The hearty ham and brie with side of lightly dressed greens was beautiful and it tasted as good as it looked. If I were a "pictures of my food" guy, it woulda been suitable for taking a picture. Glad I finally made it in to try this place. Can't wait to try a slice of the flourless chocolate cake later!

Jacquelyn Smale

Wish I could give zero Stars.. Walked in and sat down.. wasn't very busy.. Employees walked by us several time with zero acknowledgment.. After 10 minutes and no help, not even a welcome, a hello, NOTHING we got up and walked out.. What a complete joke... Headed down the street to Main Cafe and received the best service and quality food..

Chelsea Garczynski

The absolute best oatmeal, and everything else is great too!

I found myself in the area on business and wanted to find a cozy place that I could enjoy a quick and delicious meal that is a hidden gem in a different city. BINGO. This is it. If I lived here, I would be a frequent customer. Will definitely return whenever I find myself in the area again.

Natalie Peterson

Wonderful baked goods and service. So happy that we have this gem in the neighborhood!

This place is adorable, with really good food. The pastries look amazing, and the coffee is top notch. They are vegetarian friendly, but if you're vegan the options are very limited. The friendly staff is super helpful about making adjustments where they can. Even though I think of this as a breakfast place, something about being surrounded by pastries and wine makes me want a glass of wine with my veggie hash.

Amy Garwood-Díaz

The best steel-cut oatmeal I've ever eaten. Absolutely delicious!

Nolan Kerr

Cutest Cafe I've ever been to. Delicious pastries and wholesome and fragrant tea.

Love this place. Two blocks from our house. The food is great. The biscuits and gravy are some of the best in town. The baked goods are also amazing. The bars are good but sometimes too sweet, I also wish they put a bit more effort in to a patio area. Do yourself a favor and stop by for breakfast!

Charming spot for coffee! Lovely savory and sweet choices in their pastry case. We settled on a caramel pecan roll. Coffee was good and dark yet smooth.

K Wickstrom

I cannot say enough good things about this place. Food and sweets are amazing and they serve Dogowood coffee, the best coffee in the cities. Staff is so friendly and atmosphere is quaint( although recently I was there for lunch and barista had music cranked) just the way a tiny cafe should be. Keep up the great work Mon Petit! Oh and grab a bag of day old pastries for a picnic on the river front!

This place is seriously amazing. I've never ordered something I didn't like from their baked good selection. Also a very nice cafe for breakfast/brunch. Pro tip: Their homemade english muffins are TO DIE FOR. You can order it instead of toast with most of their breakfasts!

Maddie Yaj

Food is bomb.

Amazing food. Great coffee. The cream cheese cinnamon roll was the best I've ever had. The sourdough bread was fresh, crispy on the outside, and soft inside. I can't wait to visit again.

Great little café! We came in at 8am on a Saturday and the place was well stocked with fresh pastries and hot coffee. It was just the two of us but not for long; the place filled up within the hour but it was pleasant company, families and the like. Our food came quickly and was delicious, and the cinnamon roll we got was perfection. I'll definitely be visiting again!

Heather DeWit

We are visiting from out of state and will be back next time we are in the area. The staff were very friendly, the atmosphere relaxed and fun and the food fantastic. Thanks for a great start to the day! (farmer's breakfast with homemade sausage and delicious potatoes was great and the brioche french toast was to die for)

Came here for Sunday brunch and was pleasantly surprised. Plenty of free street parking around the area and not too busy. We had the ham and brie sandwich and brioche french toast and a vanilla latte with homeade syrup. They also had a glass case of baked goods. Food and drinks are ordered at the counter and then there is plenty of seating and they bring food out to you. Great place for studying with free WiFi and close to the U of MN.

Amazing food in a cozy atmosphere. It feels like a classic kitchen, with various cooking accoutrements and humorous signs like 'Eat More Pie!'. They also have a breakfast menu I look forward to trying. Definitely a great cafe.

This is my new favorite place! All the food and baked goods are made in-shop! The quiche is always amazing and they literally have the best cold press in the city if you like it strong! The shop itself is super cute farmhouse style and the staff are the friendliest bunch around! This place is a hidden gem!!! I try to being all my friends here!

Homey little bistro in a vibrant neighborhood, serving good quality quiche, greens, and Rachel sandwich. You have to get the wonderful pastries, though.

Asma Redwan

Best collections of freshly made bakery items with good varieties. Limited with breakfast options but whatever they have on the seems to fulfil the need perfectly. Highly recommended.

Love this quaint little spot. Wonderful food. Nice music. A place I can sit comfortably by myself for breakfast or bring friends for an afternoon coffee and treat. And the baked goods... OUTSTANDING!!

I've been here quite a few times with my mom at this point, and its been really nice every time. All of the staff are really nice, and the lavender lemonade is really good! c:

Joey Undis

Cute place with good food and a lot of drink options. We had the farmers breakfast and beignets and both were great and at a decent price. Only complaint would be the fairly long wait for food when it wasn't very busy but it was bearable.

An easy stroll from historic Milwaukee Av with outdoor tables overlooking curbside Monarch Butterfly habitat!

Ian McLaughlin

A beloved bakery on our block. Their breakfast food is simple but very tasty, and their assortment of buns is always delicious - my wife and my favorite bun is their orange blueberry.

Christian Sanchez

Excellent coffee, very good pastries. If you have time, stop and have breakfast here

Emeryth Myers

This is my #1 go-to breakfast/ brunch place. Their oatmeal is like nothing I've ever had before. Their coffee drinks are amazing. And the service is top notch. Not to mention their hand maid pastries are absolutely delicious. Also a great place to do homework

Anders Mayland

I could visit this place multiple times in a month (sometimes do), and still not be able to try everything in their pastry display case. The ceaseless quantity of delicious options speaks volumes of the incredible baker(s) who make every visit a unique treat. Apparently, they also serve breakfast and lunch - who knew! Will have to try it sometime if I can ever tear myself away from the scones and brioche. Pro Tip: Love espresso? Order a double, enjoy what appears to be a half mug of black gold, and let the world shake to pieces around you.

Oh my goodness! This place is so cute and cozy. The food is just excellent and the staff is very friendly. You can tell they work hard to keep up their fantastic cafe. One of my favorite places in the Twin Cities.

Adam Twardowski

Blew my mind away! Great spot! Wonderful staff too.

Steve Hanke

You should eat here! Go now, don't wait, just go now and enjoy some awesome food! Why are you still reading this - go now!

Molly Stoltz

Great sweet rolls and cookies. The coffee is also good too. They are open early in the morning, a big temptation on my way to work in the morning.

Christen Marchio

A great little place on Franklin for coffee, baked goodies, or a phenomenal breakfast!

Jacob K

I work for a catering company that caters to very wealthy people and my company bought cakes from here for an event. The guests raved about the cake, it was probably their favorite thing that we served them. And they have expensive taste so you know the cake was good!! (The cake wasn't expensive by the way). Also the staff was incredibly kind when I went to pick up the cakes! Check this place out!!

Ali Erin

A sweet, relaxing atmosphere with great, cooked to order food and delicious bakery items. Quiet, fun, and very good service. Only one large table for groups of more then 4 or 5

I love this place. Everything is perfect every time. Go for the cranberry orange roll, the rosemary biscuits and gravy, the lemon ricotta pancakes and... pretty much everything

Dwayne Robinson

The breakfast when it was here on Franklin

Zach Bramel

DOGWOOD COFFEE, farmer's breakfast, and pretty much anything from the case. A+. One satisfied customer here.

Max Corrigan

The cinnamon rolls are addicting.

I live in the area; my mom was visiting and we woke up early on a Saturday. We wanted to walk to breakfast, and Mon Petit Cheri was the only place open. I had been here for coffee before but am so glad we went for breakfast. Delicious food, great service, able to address my severe food allergy, and a fun atmosphere. The building does have steps to get in the front door, but also has a wheelchair/handicap access on the side, which I saw many people use (basically it’s not a dumpster back entrance wheelchair users often have to deal with).

Kirsten Hayman

Cozy neighborhood bistro. Counter service, good coffee, great food, amazing pastries.

Kyle Waites

Just the best! I am so happy they found a home where they can be happy with a bigger kitchen. 3 cookies for 5 dollars of the monster cookies is a steal that everyone should take advantage of!!

Jordan Weil

Great baked goods, quiche, and coffee. Very good breakfast options.

Steven Nelson

Great food and perfect portion sizes! The quiche has a delicious flaky crust and fluffy core with flavorful veggies. The blueberry orange cinnamon roll sounds like an odd combo but very tasty, it is sweet and fruity with a slight orange citrus flavor that is not overwhelming or bitter.

Jeremiah Juergens

If you're looking for good food, good coffee, and good atmosphere for breakfast this is the place for you. And don't forget about the baked goods. Love this place.

Dale Utt

A wide selection of coffee and teas, with delicious brunch options. Cozy local atmosphere with friendly staff.

Kelly Whalen

Cute little place with really good breakfast. We also bought some yummy cookies for the road.

Phil Smith

Good food but $3 for a cup of coffee!

Kay Cheon

Brandon Tice

Amazing baked goods and breakfast. Great spot for coffee too - they serve Dogwood coffee and have cold brew and espresso drinks.

Great breakfast! Fresh pastries. Cappuccinos quiche, and breakfast sandwich. Loved the atmosphere.

Patrick A Plonski

OMG. For what you get, this place is not worth it. Service is extremely poor. I got the Reuben sandwich and only half of the sandwich had meat on it! WTH? AND the meat was DRY! Ah, who serves dry meat? - someone who doesn't know how to cook!BTW, there was NO sauce on it, just a smather of stone ground mustard which didn't add any flavor at all - merely added to the overwhelming amount of pickle. Oh right, I think the pickle was to fool me into thinking I was getting a good sized sandwich, like it was in place of the lost meat! There was a tad of sauerkraut but not very good. Will not recommend nor return. And really mpc not interested in your very pathetic excuses for bad business. Action speaks volumes. Your words are merely excuses.

Joseph James

Great place, great people, amazing food!

Jenny Hanson

I love this place! Breakfast, coffee, pastries and lunch! The quiche options of the day, meat or veggie, are delicious and served with fresh greens. You have to try the orange blueberry sweet roll. While everything in the pastry case, from scones and rolls to cookies and sweet bread, pleases the palate, the orange blueberry sweet roll is pure delight!

Robert Lee

Some of the best caramel rolls in the twin cities!

Catherine Menzel

The food had great flavor. Nice staff and decor. But it was surprisingly loud. I'd go back.

Tona Willand

Fabulous pastry!

Great food, coffee is good.
