Great local grocery store. Nice selection and good variety of foods, well organized and clean store. The staff are always friendly and helpful. The hot bar and deli are excellent. There is a lovely gift shop in here that changes with the seasons--a great spot for last-minute gifts. Also fresh flowers, cards, chocolates are sold here. We love their small but carefully chosen selection of pet food and organic food options, as well. We love our local Kowalski's and feel fortunate to have it here.

I shop at the Eden Prairie Kowalski's Market fairly frequently. I have been becoming more and more disappointed with the quality of merchandising over the past several months. Yesterday I purchased a box of Buffalo Wheat Thins. Got them home, tasted them and was disgusted by how stale they tasted. When I checked the date on the box, it was October, 2014. I usually check these things in the store, but was in a hurry and didn't expect the product to be outdated. I also purchased a loaf of what was supposed to be Kowalski's No Nut Banana bread. I got it home and tasted it hoping for yummy banana bread and it was pumpkin bread. Not only that, but upon closer inspection the label said 9 grams of trans fat! Good grief. I threw it out. Either there is a problem with your labeling or with your bakery, I'm not sure which. It isn't the first time I have found outdated merchandise on the shelves, but have always caught it in the store. Unfortunately this time I didn't. When I pay the extra prices that Kowalski's charges, I expect extra quality. I don't feel that those of us who are shopping at Eden Prairie are getting that kind of service from you.

A godsend to the neighborhood! A quintessential Midwest family owned grocery store. Super high quality. Great produce, excellent meats, and outstanding deli. Not your typical place for you full grocery needs though they have everything you need. Better for its specialty offerings and the quick 'focused' shopping needs. It has added a great quality service to a great area.

I am a regular at Kowalski's. Staff is always friendly and store is very clean. Their baked goods are always a hit at all our family events. Also, their Thanksgiving meals are so perfect for our family. They are slightly on the pricey side so that is my only setback.

Sure, I once purchased a green bell pepper at Kowalski's that had a caterpillar inside of it. I have also purchased cracked eggs (forgot to check) and rotten fruit and one memorable Thanksgiving, was given a rock hard 23 lb. turkey instead of the fresh one I had pre-ordered weeks before (they gave it to me for free). But I have been shopping there consistently since the day they opened and if that is all that has happened, I would say the track record is very good. I have ordered beautiful party trays and cakes, purchased incredible little gifts that people are shocked to hear came from "my grocery store", eaten over 50 rotisserie chickens- all more than "edible", and had more fun at the deli and meat counters than anyone has a right to. Their customer service is excellent, they give back to the community and hire disabled workers. Kowalski's rocks.

I frequent this particular Kowalski's on my way to work. I picked up a wrap in the morning for lunch, it's a good one I've had before. When I went to have my lunch, the wrap was missing one of the ingredients and another one of them was very under ripe. I called, and spoke with the deli manager (Susan) and she was awesome! I stopped back on my way home, and she had made another complimentary wrap, plus I got my money back for the disappointing one. Great customer service from Susan, Nate and Karyn!

Called the Deli and spoke to Natalie who quickly helped me decide best options, sizes etc. She put it all together, kept it hot for my husband to pick up quickly to get the meal across the cities through traffic. The meal was still hot for my Uncle. Thank you Natalie!!!! (Unprompted, My uncle said Kowalski's has the Best Homemade Food.). That's just what we needed. Thanks

This is "grocery shopping" the way you'd expect to do it at some of the more posh London department stores like Fortnam & Mason or Harrods, only not quite as posh price wise! Kowalski's Market maintains an impressively diverse assortment of goods -- quite a bit of which is produced locally -- given its relatively small size. It is unwise to approach their deli or bakery areas if you are already hungry. The employees are always friendly and helpful. Parking is not an issue at this Kowalski's. It shares a generous parking lot with the other tenants of Prairie Village Mall.
