As you can read, it has an average rating is quite good, and it's founded on a very high number of opinions, so we may conclude that the valuation is quite credible. If people have bothered to evaluate when they've done well with the service, is that it works.
As you know, we don't usually bother to place evaluations when these are good and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or incidence...
This Bakery is included in the category of Cafe.
The food was good, the servings were a good size and the waiter/waitress were amazing. Their attention to detail was great! Thank you!
Had a few of their sandwiches now, all excellent.
The lady seating us did not seem to like her job, but the food and service was good.
First time in Minnesota and man this place had some of the best breakfast I've ever eaten. The staff were friendly quick and overall great. I would recommend anyone traveling through here to try this place out.
The first time we came was at dinner, and it was really good food, prompt service, they serve breakfast all day which is always a winner for me. The second time we came was during breakfast rush and it took 15 minutes to get a cup of coffee to our table, then another 15 to get food, and we had to ask for our check eventually so we could leave. Not unacceptable service, but you may see your server less than you want when it's busy.
Food was great but the service was one of the worst. We sat outside and the servers were not only rude but slow. Even when complained inside on the reception, she was clueless and shallow... will definitely not come back
Italian hash is great.
Love this place breakfast and dinner fav turkey dinner...yum yumm
Got a to go order of a taco salad. Taco meat was unseasoned hamburger. Salsa and sour cream was missing. I don't mind onion but onion was over powering. Pulled out half an onion from one taco salad. My girlfriend may have gotten food posioning from her omelet. Not a good experience from what is supposed to be a higher end restaurant.
This is the place if you need breakfast comfort plus a whiskey.
It's Keys. 'nough said. Go. You won't be disappointed.
Awful Service. A groups of my friends were there eating. My wife and I were walking by and my buddy called us to stop in. We were leaving a salad place where my wife got a salad to go so she had it in her hand. After an hour of catching up with friends at the Final 4, TWO different employees rudely came up to us and said that we weren’t supposed to eat outside food in their restaurant. They went on to complain that “no one” in our group ordered anything, which was untrue. Half of the group ordered food, drinks, coffee, and dessert. The were upset that we had been there catching up, even though 3/4 of the place was empty. Super unprofessional service.
In recently for some breakfast before the auto show. Great food and friendly staff. Great location at the historic Foshay Tower. Highly recommend!!
It's ok. They serve breakfast all day. The food is ok and very expensive.
Great breakfast/brunch place with some hearty options. We like to go here before a Vikings game to fill up so we don't spend a fortune at the stadium. Service is decent for the amount of people being served at any given time. Just be ready to snag any employee walking by to remind them of something you ordered that didn't make it to the table.
Food was excellent, service great. BIG TIP!
Went for breakfast on Sunday. Gluten free options including pancakes, waffles, french toast. My cinnamon french toast was rather bland, lacked much cinnamon flavor and barely egg coated it seemed, bread was good. Eggs sunny side up were executed well. Espresso was failure, arrived having overflowed cup, tasted weak, acidic, bland. Server was super attentive and brought me replacement espresso which was appropriate fluid volume but again the taste was severely lacking. Breakfast specials were inviting too. Hour into opening Sunday was pretty busy, but no wait, plenty of seating, including bar area.
Good food. Wait staff was in their own world
Okay food at okay prices. I’ve eaten here a few times in the past few years. It has stayed consistent: for most any breakfast dish you get a large volume of starch—potatoes and thick, lightly toasted bland bread—with a typical amount of proteins for a comparable price. It’s usually one of the last places on my list in that part of town, however. My last visit pushed them off the list altogether. I ordered the scrambled eggs with spinach, cream cheese, and garlic with a side of sausage. The eggs were well cooked, but the $6 side of sausage was barely above room temperature and tasted like it had been cooked several hours prior. The hash browns looked fine until you got to the middle where they had folded the charred parts into the middle, and I mean charred completely black. When I pointed it out to my server, who had been avoiding eye contact until I pushed my plates away, he said “Okay” and brought me my check for full price.
My favorite spot for comfort food when staying downtown.
Proposed to my wife in this tower! So it’s always nostalgic for us to come back here and have some breakfast at Keys.
Best pancakes I've ever had!
Horrible experience. Definitely check this place out if you like to eat hot garbage
Best meatballs and meatloaf I’ve ever had! Great service and great food.
I love home cooking comfort food when away from home, the staff always is welcoming like your family just returned home.
Keys Restaraunt is a well known gem in Minnesota. Great food, good servings, and always fun staff.
Nice location, get in and ask for a water and beer. Ask the waitress the price of the beer because the price for a bottle of golden was not listed. Susan answers back," Look in the drink book." First strike for Susan. Next it takes 15 minutes to receive the water and beer. This is unacceptable for how many customers they did not have. Finally ordered food and she was not nice about answering questions about the menu. Get the food which was overpriced and she comes to check on us as im finishing my last bite. Worst service I have ever received.
Old school done right.
Always great food and huge portions
Very bad service, got the orders wrong, food not to temp. Very disappointing
We visited on a cold & snowy Saturday morning before the rush! Our waitress seemed a little testy but I must admit that once our food was served she regularly checked in with us. Also, the staff that seated us and brought our plates were very friendly. I was surprised how long we waited for our coffees, which, not surprisingly, weren't very hot. The food was average, nothing special, but the portions were generous. The waffle was probably the best part of the meal, it was hot & fresh. It was a little overcooked for my taste but I finished it all. The decor was nice and it's obviously a popular location even on a snowy & cold weekend morning. I don't know that I would visit again.
They close early on random days, beware. Hours on the website are not correct.
You'll never leave this place hungry. Especially like coming here for breakfast when I'm in town. Really tasty well prepared food.
The food was great and the staff was very personable. This was a great experience.
Process pretty good. Food fabulous. Wait staff was wonderful.
Good snacks, beverages and friendly staff. That's all what one would ask and we got that in good measure. Had a great time at the place so won't mind to go there again. Even the prices are very reasonable so it's a good option.
Great food, I am actually waiting on employment, hope to be part of the team!
Food has never disappointed at the Keys, I love the history of the building (Foshay Tower) great place to stay and eat if you're coming from out of town. Liana was our server the last two times we came and she was awesome.
This time, I only got an appetizer, but there were a good number of things on the menu that looked good. I'll have to go back and try some of them out. Oh, and I had some of the lemon cake, which was delicious by the way.
Great food. Great service. Great decor. Love this place!
Always great food and staff
The food was good and the wait to be seated wasn't bad considering how crowded it was, but the food is a bit pricey and we received our check super quickly and felt like we were being rushed out. I would still go back and give it another try. The jam is definitely tasty !
Went to have dinner and in the process of being seated the waitress informed me that the kitchen closes in 8 minutes. So what’s that supposed mean was not clear to me since she was seating us, I simply told her that’s ok I am leaving. I don’t want to be rushed and the process of ordering and cooking the food would have taken more than 8 minutes. The place BTW was deserted, not a single soul.
Food and service was wonderful!
SPECTACULAR service, and the roast beef hash was amazing.
Fun, bustling eatery in iconic Mspl bis building. Cudos to friendly, hospitable waitery and front staff. You made the wait worth it! Grace under fire before the Vikes game.
Always great food!
Good bloodies! Also good food at a decent price.
Quick, friendly service, homemade strawberry jam for your toast!
Great omelets man. Awesome.
Great service and food!!
Good food and nice atmosphere. Very friendly employees and quick customer service. For a larger group of 16 people, the food came very fast after ordering. Our drinks got filled up very quickly also. Good place for groups of people.
When you go to a place where they have good food, but the waitress that I had was nonchalant.... I couldn't even enjoy the atmosphere. The vibe was definitely off for this gal on a Sunday. There is too many restaurants in this city. Sorry Keys!!
Amazing food, comfortable atmosphere despite being very busy. Had a great waitress and wonderful service overall, try their home made toast!
Friendly staff on 9.25.2019 - 6pm
Cool atmosphere, and I highly recommend the Bloody Mary.
Friendly staff, delicious fish and chips...overall very enjoyable!!!
I honestly don’t write reviews much but I called ahead of time and asked about bottomless mimosas, told me they do so we went there for breakfast and it turned out they don’t. Funny because after we left I called them again to ask about the …
Really a good place for Sunday morning Breakfast !!
Staff was interesting. Food was pretty good. Cool atmosphere.
Great service, great food, and in a convenient location to a lot of business and places people work. We went for lunch, so was less busy than a dinner time, but still had a fair few people in it. Also have a dessert counter right when you walk in with some tasty looking treats for those interested. They were also giving out free samples from the dessert counter too, which is a nice touch on top.
Absolutely the most delicious food you’ll find in Minnespolis hands down. We purchased breakfast and the food was awesome. Our waiter took care of us too. I can’t say enough about the fresh food. Farm fresh eggs, home made bread!! Love it. Every time I visit I’m eating here for sure!
Great food, cool old building, fair prices
It's good comfort food with good sized portions. The Minneapolis location is in nice space in the historic Foshay Tower in the heart of downtown. Prices are modest.
Great service. Unfortunately I was too hungover to eat.
My favorite breakfast place. Such FAST service and a great variety of options. Always a Minneapolis staple!
Stop #324 for @pizzas365: Key's At The Foshay has a pretty good, breakfast-oriented pizza, with a thin crust that ultimately at least does its job along with great toppings but too much cheese. 4.0 Stars.
Solid choice for HH, breakfast or lunch. Lots of variety on the menu. Reasonable prices. Very good vibe and atmosphere.
Historic atmosphere but updated and comfortable. Good breakfast with art deco surroundings. Gets a bit busy but worth the noise and tight table settings. Service is always on point!
This location is very elegant and gives you a different vibe from every other location. However, they always tend to overcook the food. Many times, my pancakes have been burnt and any meat I order has been kind of dry. I will add that the deserts are spectacular. Especially the apple pie!
About $25 for a Patty Melt and a soda including tip. Service was good. Did was tasty, but not the best value for lunch on a budget. I would go there again but probably stick with their breakfast staples. Their omelettes are big enough to share and plenty of options from vegan to meat-lovers.
Came here to celebrate after finishing my last radiation treatment, because they serve late breakfast and have a bar. Breakfast was excellent, and so was my mimosa! Service a but slow.
Everything omelet is good but missing the hash browns inside now you have to order alacart
We up until recently loved the Keys cafe for breakfast most Saturdays for a few years now. The service was consistently great, food was fast and always good. Recently a manager that had been there for years left the Keys and everything has gone downhill since then. The first time we visited after he left the service was slow and food was just OK. Figuring it was a one time thing we came back two more times to have the same poor experience. There has been a big change in servers and most of the one's we knew are no longer there on Saturdays. The service is npw consistently slow and the food isn't up to the same standards. We will likely try again in a few weeks and hope for the best but it may be that our time for breakfasts there has come to a close.
Very good food, friendly staff, great for breakfast.
Absolutely amazing food, excellent service even at off hours. If you have not tried the Keys house cake, give it a try. It is truly spectacular. One of my favorite sweet treats available anywhere. This was my first visit to keys at the …
It always be able to accommodate a medium to large size group lunch we had.
Love this place, great food and location. Everytime I'm in Minneapolis I always make sure I stop here.
Eggs Benedict was AMAZING will recommend family/friends to come here! Only down side is prices are a little expensive but the food was good!
Loved the food..
The breakfast is always amazing. Their omelettes are killer. Their homemade strawberry jam would bring world peace. Their dinner menu is a bit more basic, but the quality is still fantastic. Service is great, and the right amount of spicy if you like to give and take some witty banter.
Great food and great service!
Friendly wait staff. Quick and friendly service (a Smile, since we know you love what you do, would be nice). Everything was prepared perfectly and tasted great. Beverages were ice cold, exactly the way you like them. Prepared to perfection!! Thank you, we'll be back soon.
We loved it! Our hangry toddler was met with patience. The food was so tasty (loved the eggs Benedict) and the service was great!
Keys used to be one of our favorite places for Happy Hour and Lunch. The past six months however have gone very downhill. We stopped going to happy hour a few months ago due to higher prices. Today we decided to try Keys for lunch... and …
Decent food. Great happy hour specials. Cannot emphasize the value here enough. The place itself is a bit dated/sad, but again, the good value eats and complimentary taco bar on Tuesdays makes up for it. They did have a really bad gnat problem though when I was last in on a weeknight. We killed maybe 4 of the 7 that plagued our table the entire time indoors.
Always a great stop down in the cities. Always consistant with customer care and food.
We all wanted breakfast and this was recommended to us. Fast, freindly service with lots of options on the menu. Pecan roll was very good, but came with raw pecans sprinkled over it, would prefer them toasted. All the egg dishes were good and toast with jam was a big hit too.
Nice, cozy spot for breakfast! Food was really good.
My first time here. The food was amazing. Great fast service. They knew how and when to check on their tables. They let you enjoy your dining experience. I appreciate that.
Too Picky.. I brought in a Cup of Coffee and they had a Fit. I won't eat there again. If you do that to a 20 Plus Year Customer then I won't Eat there again.
So delicious, every time. One day I'll order something that isn't a breakfast item, but I haven't managed it yet! I always ask for extra homemade strawberry jam for my toast, as it's out-of-this-world good. If you get an omelette, try having it with the hash browns inside--it may seem weird, but it's a revelation. Service has always been fast and friendly, though if you want to avoid waiting for a table on weekend mornings, you'll want to arrive no later than 9:30am.
Great place for all three meals. Good choices and value meals. A lot better than the hotel's restaurant for breakfast.
This was my second experience at the Keys At The Foshay and my friend and I were not disappointed with the awesome food nor the great service we received from Kyle, our handsome server. We had breakfast on June 23 during Pride Weekend, my friend had a regular breakfast, I had the biscuits with sausage gravy and we shared a bowl of grits with real maple syrup, everything was excellent and I will keep coming back!
Had a cool waitress, good lunch, and a great slice of key lime pie after. Classic deli in a classy building.
No waiting before 10am on Sunday. Great dining experience. Our server Jeremy was very accommodating. Warm and friendly atmosphere. Reasonable pricing and great made from scratch food. Bread baked fresh in house daily. Would highly recommend to anyone.
the pancakes were amazing
Great breakfast all day. Corn beef hash, splurge for the rye bread.
Great experience, food, atmosphere and service. Truly awesome!
Just damn delicious. Try the bloodys it didn't disappoint
Great service and wings!
Roast beef hash with scrambled eggs - great lunch AND enough for dinner! Keys has excellent home made meals. And breakfast available all day! Keys is a Minnesota tradition.
The food was cold and over priced
Pretty good mid-afternoon breakfast. Moderate prices. Very convenient downtown location, easily accessible thru skyways.
Upscale breakfasts in a fine old establishment. Great food, good service, we were not disappointed!
Best carrot cake in the cities...top 5 for breakfast easy
Interesting vibe here... The building is very fancy looking, the prices are rather high. Food is good, but the portions could be bigger. The loud pop music they play really contrasts the look of the restaurant. Service is rather nice, though we did have a waitress one night who definitely wanted to be done with her shift.
Great food! Breakfast all day and bakery items to take home!
I love their food and customer service
Go here for a real breakfast with local ingredients!
Very very helpful staff.
I love Keys Cafe! Their gluten free options are great along with a wide variety on the menu. I have had breakfast and lunch here and never regret it!
Best brunch place I've visited in Minneapolis. Love the food. Good service. This place is quite popular and is full on weekends for breakfast.
Was hungry for a breakfast dinner so thought I’d give this place a try. Just enjoyed some amazing pancakes...banana and pecan. Great location. Good service. Cool vibe. Fast service and reasonable prices. Who could ask for anything more?
Great home cooked meal and service made it even better
This is a great place for breakfast or brunch The portion sizes are great. The price is a little on the high side but not bad. it. Can .get to packed on weekends and busy event days downtown. This location is the best of all of them. It is worth checking out and for sure worth it. When you Re hungover after a night of kicking downtown.
Great staff, beautiful desserts, taco salad was tasty. Cool 40s art deco restaurant.
This is a historic and nostalgic place for us. Their food is always awesome, bustling atmosphere, nice staff also.
Awesome old Cafe style Cafe like stepping back into the 1940s food was great but that day they were short-staffed
Great breakfast. Omelets are awesome
It's a cool spot to grab a bite while at the hotel or even if you're not staying in the hotel. The food is average, nothing spectacular.
I love this place for its veggie omelette and fresh orange juice.
LOVE THIS PLACE. Every time we go to the Twin Cities we have to have breakfast here. It has an Art Deco vibe and the food is amazing. Oh, and the prices are amazing for downtown. Bloody Mary’s are great. Staff is great.
SOOOOOOOO DAAAAAARN GOOOOOOOOD!!!!! Had it for the first time this morning for breakfast after a long night at a work party and it was amazing. I wish I knew the waitresses name because she was great too. Food was served fast and hot, the drinks were served ice cold, I had milk haha, and the food was delicious. My girlfriend agrees! We will be back for sure!!!
Fun atmosphere, the food and drinks are priced well for being downtown Minneapolis! The staff that was at the bar was very fun and friendly! Good food, good drinks, good people.
Reasonably priced, good food in a historic setting. Located on the ground floor of the Foshay building, the Keys has a retro setting. The Walleye Almondine was very good. Service could have been better (e.g., more attentive), especially …
Good food and good service. Yummy bakery items.
Great food, large portions, excellent bakery.
Great food good prices. Staff is excellent with service even while very busy. Portions are huge the cooks are outstanding. The earlier the better. Love this place. Parking can sometimes be a problem.
All day breakfast place.
Always great for breakfast. Haven't had lunch or dinner here but the breakfasts are great. Large traditional breakfast selection and large servings. Or go straight for the immense and spectacular warm caramel roll. No special parking for Keys in the heart of downtown Minneapolis. Metered on street parking and in nearby parking garages.
Convenient considering I was staying at the Foshay. Great breakfast and fast service. Hit the spot!
I hesitated before deciding to go to dinner alone at a non-cafe setting, but every staff member I encountered here was super friendly and the food was delicious so I'm glad I chose to go here! I ordered the soup of the day (cream of turkey and wild rice) and a glass of wine. Both items exceeded expectations, so I finished the meal full and happy. Bonus: my bill only came down to $12.30. I also really appreciated my amazing waitress, Liana, who not only made me feel absolutely welcome and cared for, but also gave me the space and privacy I needed after a day of conference sessions. There are so many great things about this place that add up to prompt this 5-star review.
Always love to stop in and get some goodies to eat at work... Or whenever... Meals are good here too...
Ordered steak medium well, and eggs scrambled lite. Both came back well done, a disaster. Have been visiting Minneapolis for a number of years been wanting to check them out. Had 3 in my party, everyone's order a disaster. Never again will I patronize this place.
Amazing omelets and is always good everytime I eat there.
Great place, went there for breakfast and ordered cinnamon rolls and coffee. The cinnamon rolls are fabulous. Service was very friendly. Highly recomended.
Great cakes and malts.
I usually go once or twice a week, depending upon on My schedule. The past few weeks, it's been CRAPPY! SUPER CRAPPY SERVICE, and Equally CRAPPY "Food". I LOVE Keys Cafe, I've been going here since I was a little girl. So, I've been SUPER DISAPPOINTED with the CRAPPY SERVICE & CRAPPY Food. But, I Believe in Keys, they're a part of My Childhood and that of My Children's as well. I don't know what it's gonna take to get GREAT SERVICE AND SPECTACULAR Dishes again? But, I ALWAYS BRAG about the food here, it's just lately, I don't know? It's not even, "WELCOMING" anymore. I'm trying not to give it a 1 Star. Maybe YOU will have a better experience with them.
I didn't know that o e but if you like tasty cakes and rare recipes check it out...
The food and service was great
so amazing, so nice to have a good place downtown with such a large menu! anyone can find something here!
Always a great breakfast at Keys! Order the Cinnamon Roll as an appetizer as they sell out quickly.
Keys is a Minnesota institution. The food is always good, breakfast is absolutely fantastic here. The Foshay location is very nice. The service was great too.
I have dined here multiple times when in Minneapolis and have never been disappointed in a meal. The homemade jelly is a must to try and always start a breakfast with one of their cinnamon or caramel rolls!
Always good food at the Keys. Their bakery is great, food options offer breakfast all day.
Super nice and accommodating staff. Great prices and good food. As someone who is not from the Midwest, I found the buy one get one free beers at happy hour to be a delightful surprise. Easily one of the nicest hotel restaurants I've been in.
Amazing services and food
The food is excellent!
Had a wonderful meat lovers omelet with hashbrowns. The homemade strawberry jelly was fantastic. Great little grill in downtown.
I always have a good experience here. Keys is known as a breakfast & brunch place, but I live for their chicken nachos
The food was pretty good but spendy. Had a bit of diarrhea an hour later, and try and find a public restroom in Mpls!
Service was horrible! The staff was rude and under the influence one staff member threw crackers at us the manager didn't seem to mind his staff being blatantly rude & offensive there was only 1 waiter that was nice his name is Joseph and he is the only reason I gave 1 star
Delicious breakfast food and treats! Homemade comfort food!
Italian Hash is the best. Glad they serve for lunch too
Amazing Food, Ambiance & Service!
