Delicious desserts and coffee. The open seating is a little sketchy though, and it would probably be cleaner if they had either a spot for patrons to leave dirty dishes or more staff dedicated to bussing tables.

A cute little counter serve cafeteria style cafe with great deserts and food. Their afternoon tea is excellent! For $14, you get a great cup of tea, a cucumber sandwich, a slice of desert, and some scones. They have a variety of excellent salads and pizzas for lunch and dinner, and definitely do not pass on their cakes

The food here is meh and seems a bit over priced for the portions you get. For example, a slice of dessert is $6.50. Our meal consisting of a small salad, soup, and dessert was about $30. There was barely any chicken in the chicken soup. I wanted to get chicken wild rice soup but they didn't have it on Sunday. The atmosphere was like a busy cafeteria style.

Increasingly disappointing service. My family went to this cake shop a lot since it’s in our neighborhood, however, sometimes I found service there is terrible, and today is even worse. I carried baby with the car seat carrier today and bought a day old whole cake, they refused to gave me a bag so I have to hold the cake and at the same time carry the baby, I tried to ask for any help for me to be able to carry baby and don’t have to hold the cake, but the server there just refused to help and say there is nothing she or they could do, so I asked could they please at least gave me one more string around the cake box to make the box more durable for a whole cake, so I can try to hold it with one hand hand, even so they refused. Yes it’s a day old cake but it’s still almost $24, should I be discriminated because I didn’t buy their most expensive cake? I could not even get one more string for me to hold the cake especially when I have to carry a baby at the same time? I was in a hurry and didn’t have time to ask the reason, but this is really terrible experience, I will never bring friends there anymore.

Cafe Latte is one of the true dining gems in the Twin Cities. They have a variety of freshly made salads, sandwiches and soups. I had a personal sized Margherita pizza on my last visit. I have to say that it was the freshest and tastiest pizza I've ever had. I would come back just for the pizza. Cafe Latte is also known for their delicious desserts, especially their cheese cake. I highly recommend visiting this restaurant the next time you're in St. Paul.

A friend of mine will always offer to bring Cakes when there's a birthday celebration. Due to my restricted diet( not anymore), I didn't tastes the Cakes. Once my restriction was left? I stopped into Café Latte and got two slices of their Cakes. It was worth every penny spent! I enjoyed them and will be visiting soonest. Customer Service was top-notch too. Best Cakes in St Paul.

Shhh, its a great secret! So good they need more seating. Try everything and what you can't finish get to go. Confections to fight over. Made to order 'zza. Salads from curry to quinoa. Professionals, great atmosphere. Great for a pre or post ANYTHING. Parking is the only small small down side. There wines looked impressive, didn't have any, next visit!

Fantastic food, wine, desserts, and service. This is a gorgeous location, and a great idea for a date night. Things are served cafeteria style, and much is made the way you want it. Including the pizza bar, salad bar, and drink bar. The white wine I ordered was sweet and crisp like fresh fruit. Our pizzas were personal pan style and made right in front of us. We were immediately seated at their lovely bar, and every bite made us more excited for dessert.

Pizzas have a good variety, however, we thought they were only alright. Both of ours had way too much cheese, however, some may like that. Will be back, but will ask for light cheese next time.

Best place to dine. Best cheese cakes of all kinds. Visit them with an appetite for cake. You will go home happy. While there, try there soups (esp. sweet potatoe soup), pizzas and sandwiches. Yammy! The service at this cafeteria-style restaurant was quick and friendly. They have ”stations” for desserts, salads, soup, sandwiches, and of course, coffee. Gluten free options are clearly labeled, though but terribly plentiful. I had a delicious gluten free soup, but in a restaurant with so many different types of food, a couple more choices would be awesome, and would earn a 5-star review.

First things first...you have to try the Strawberry Chocolate Cheesecake which they usually have on Wednesday’s!....it’s FIRE, and then there is the Banana Cake which is light with a delicious cream cheese frosting!!!! Beyond that most of the deserts are pretty BOMB, and the atmosphere of the place is chill. I’ve tried at least half of the cakes that they have and I have not been disappointed yet! I haven’t had the opportunity to eat much of there other options besides the desserts but maybe next time....they are a bit on the pricey end with the food, just my opinion.

The Vanilla Tres Leches cake here is to die for!!! I have never had better cake in my life and this is my only craving for something sweet. The chocolate one is good too, but I would choose the vanilla one over the chocolate anyday. Unlike most American bakery items and treats, this is the right amount of sugar for me.

They state 48 hours notice for a cake order. When you call, they inform you that they only make certain cakes on certain days so you can’t order specific cakes. I talked to two workers...the man had no idea about orders and the manager girl was downright rude. I usually love this establishment , but their customer service and online specifications need a lot of work. I called today 9-29-2019 at about 11:00. If I was the owner I would check who was working and managing and talk to them.

A Grand Ave staple. Park in the public ramp at Grand + Victoria. Street parking is minimal and most side streets are permit only.

Cafe Latte is a post-marathon tradition for us. It's upscale cafeteria style - you with your tray on one side and polite employees on the other side of the clear divider getting them for you. Excellent healthy choices (salads, sandwiches, soups - with veggie options of each), made with fresh ingredients. On the other end is the coffee shop and desserts that are delicious. German chocolate cake is our favorite!

This was my go to place in college for a decadent dessert and delicious coffee. Right in the heart of grand Avenue, it's an awesome place to just stop and grab some awesome deli food and an amazing slice of cake while you shop or simply walk around. There are tons of tables and two floors, so you never are at a loss for seating, and everyone in town loves to stop by!
