This past weekend was my first time experiencing sweets from SugarHigh Bakery and they were DELICIOUS! I ADORED their peanut butter cup cupcakes at my client’s wedding. They were so fluffy and lovely I wanted seconds! Sadly everyone else loved them as much as I did and ate them all up before I had the chance!

I had just finished watching the episode of Cupcake Wars and when I saw that they won I knew I had to go up and get some cupcakes. The cupcakes are super awesome, The Maple Bacon was absolutely delicious. I bought like 8 total and they have all been really good. My sister-in-law bought the apple cinnamon sugar bacon, she didn't dig it but I thought it was pretty good. The cookies are pretty good. I would stay away from the peanut butter cups though. that is the only reason I am not giving them a 5 star. The cookie outside was super rough, my husband could not bite into them.

Didn't look at the candy prices too much, went in for the butterbeer advertised in the window. they had a section of Harry Potter themed candy and treats, candy by the pound, a fridge of chilled beverages, and plenty of other candy.

We have been coming here at least a few years now and this is our favorite shop to visit! Awesome treats for everyone in the family! My husband loves the variety and our kids are usually picky (even with sweets) and we all leave thrilled with our selection. Shh. But I work in a Bakery and still favor coming into SugarHigh Bakery. The girls we have who wait on us are always a doll and extremely patient with our indecisive children!! Worth the stop if passing through Frankenmuth.

I’m not a huge fan of cupcakes, but these are AMAZING. So many different flavors available. They also have gelato and macaroons which are delicious as well. I definitely recommend coming here when you visit Frankenmuth with a sweet tooth. Satisfied tummy and nice staff as well. Definitely deserved that win on Cupcake Wars on the Food Network (Season 7).

Well, we come here about every three years. We are always so excited to purchase several cupcakes from sugarhigh. I purchase 2 cupcakes one was Bavarian and the other was peanut butter/maple cup cake. I was so disappointed. They were so dry and just not good. I don't know if they keep them too long or what is going on!

Happened across Sugar High Bakery by chance when looking around for our daughter's wedding cake. We made arrangements to pick up the flavor sample box (with multiple samples of filling, too) but ended up sitting at the table they have there. Four of us helped (ha!) narrow down the choices. One of the cake designers spoke at length with my daughter to get the cake exactly right. Every time we called with a question, the staff were friendly and helpful - especially nervous me, as I was on tap to transport the 3 tiered cake 2.5 hours north. The cake was assembled and packaged perfectly! There was not a crack or blemish to be seen upon arrival -- and the cakes were delicious! VERY reasonably priced in my opinion and I would work with Sugar High again in a heartbeat.

Disgusting do not go here they don't know how cool a basic cupcakes and that's there speciality! I bought a vanilla cupcake and after I removed the frosting from the top you could see the whole middle of the cupcake is raw and uncooked! The only thing done was the sides of the cupcake.... It's as if the person icing the cupcake obviously could tell that the cupcakes were extremely undercooked but still decided to ice over it and sell it....???

Sugar High was an absolute joy to work with for our wedding - and their cakes are AMAZING! I want a cupcake just thinking about them while writing this review. We ended up getting a small cake and cupcakes for our guests, the delivery fee includes set up and it is well worth it. Our cake table looked amazing! Sugar High is very responsive to email, we did majority of our correspondence by email including picking out a cake design, I sent a few pictures of what we wanted and they did a beautiful job. I highly recommend

Tried to order a small cake for an anniversary with 5 days advanced noticed. I was told they could not take my order without additional notice. What kind of bakery cannot take an order for 1 small cake with 5 days notice? There is no holiday coming up. It is the middle of October. Would not recommend.

We came here a few years ago because they were on "Cupcake Wars" and we wanted to try them out! They have amazing cupcakes and the cake part is always moist. We have come over the years and the cupcakes are always consistently good! This year I got a carrot cake cupcake and it was the best I have ever had! The ladies are friendly and their store is super cute! Definitely coming back!

Would of gave it 5stars, loved it the last time we went. Last year I got minion cupcakes made for me...well Monday I went in wanting a custom cupcake. 3days in advance we showed up. Was Told two opposite story’s once when I went in second when my fiancé went in..Then was told “I can write it, but you probly don’t want me to”. I asked for a simple name on a cupcake and was told not until Friday.. like you can’t take icing and write on it till Friday?!?!!... very disappointed. Girl who helped us was very lazy and did not wanna do her job. Reddish blonde hair and light mustache. Was there Monday-Wednesday. Same girl. At first it was a week in advance, then they couldn’t do it, then it was the machine was down. Very unwilling to help us. Extremely dismissive.. won’t come here again.

It's no mystery how these guys won Cupcake Wars in '07. Amazing cupcakes with an even more amazing selection. Gelato, sweets and treats for pup as well. Great staff who welcome you with a smile. Sugar High makes Frankenmuth that much more awesome.

Cute little bakery with outside seating (wish they had inside seating too for chilly days). This place sells both dog treats and human bakery products. We bought macaroons for us and banana pnb cup cakes for my dog. The only drawback it’s a little pricey. 5 mini macarons costed about 10$.

I loved the macarons and the cupcakes. It was my first macaron so I can't be the best judge but I do know that I loved them. I got vanilla, coffee and pistachio and all 3 were delicious. For cupcakes I got sprinkle, apple cinnamon, triple chocolate and pizza. My favorite was the sprinkle one, it was super soft, moist and flavorful. Apple cinnamon and chocolate were good, too. I still haven't tried the pizza one but I heard that they are actually good.

Absolutely love Sugar High! They do an amazing job on my kids birthday cakes, and I'm always so impressed! I am guilty of calling with late notice on an order so wasn't able to get in, however I was able to schedule it the day before and just got the cake a day early and it was still just as amazing. The staff is always so nice and patient even when I am sending them an overload of pictures from Pinterest. They are now the only bakery I use.

I got a mint chocolate cupcake and a tiramisu cupcake. They were both good and I liked that the tiramisu was not too sweet. The inside of the shop was off-putting. It looked like a cheap gift shop with all the wire shelving and crummy toys.

Not impressed at all. We came in with high expectations and were disappointed. We came for the gluten free cupcakes. We were so excited to buy some bakery quality cupcakes that my daughter could have. We had three flavors to choose from. Chocolate, vanilla, and cinnamon. We bought one of each. Even after the walk back to the hotel in the warm, humid weather, the cupcakes were very cold to the touch! They tasted very dry and like they had recently come out of the freezer! The frosting was almost to sweet to even stomach.

WOW! These cupcakes alone are worth the trip to Frankenmuth. I ordered some gluten-free strawberry cupcakes. They are 50% frosting and 50% cake. The frosting is whipped so light, and the cake is moist. Two years ago, I had these cupcakes, and they were so good that they left a lasting impression. I bet I still think about these cupcakes for another two years until I get some more! So so delicious. One thing to point out though: there is literally 1 table in this place. Therefore, it can be a bit tricky to stay and eat the cupcakes in the bakery. However, this bakery has the cupcakes to rule them!!!!!!

Great delicous treats of all varieties. I had the mixed berry gelato and a chocolate covered oreo. My husband had the peanut butter cookie with chocolate center and a peanut butter and chocolate brownie. We loved it all. It was so hard to pick because everything looks amazing!

I've been here twice. Tried 8 different flavors (4 each visit). Their cupcakes are just so disappointing after all of the hype. The Superman flavored one had so much food coloring in it, it was bitter and only a few bites we took kept us on the toilet for the next few hours and ruiend part of our Frankenmuth trip. None of the other flavors were good or memorable. Eventhough they don't taste good, I will say the cupcakes are all really pretty. Inside of the shop was very cartoonish and colorful. We gave them 2 chances, won't be back for a third though. But that's just my opinion.

I got my wedding cake here and it was beautiful! I also got the cupcakes to go with it. I loved the cupcake so much that I went to get another one, and they were all gone. Everybody commented on how great they were! I even got a free anniversary cake the following year. So good! I love stopping in here every time I am in Frankenmuth and getting a cupcake as well as a new cookie cutter for making cookies at home.

I have loved SugarHigh gluten free cupcakes since I found out they existed; until our last two trips. All they have made up are two dull flavors. Every time I went the baker made the ones I wanted in five minutes or less. My daughter went last weekend and was told "We are to busy for that." That's sad. The last I went I got the same story!

Today was my first visit to SugarHigh. I ordered the Strawberry Lemonade cupcake for myself and a Oreo cake pop for my kiddo. He devoured the cake pop and said it was so delicious! My cupcake was PHENOMENAL! Moist and full of yummy strawberry flavor. The frosting with the lemon zest made my knees weak. Not kidding!! I'm sad that I live in the Lansing area because I know I will be craving more of these cupcakes soon! :-) Well done SugarHigh!!

My little ones have food allergies (gluten and dairy). They often feel left out at places like this for obvious reasons. We visited this bakery to let the kiddos pick out a cupcake for my eldest's birthday. It was by far the best gluten free cake we have ever had, and even awesome flavors they could pick from :). The staff was knowledgeable and super kind and patient with them, and they felt like they got to order their own special cupcake like everyone else there. If you can't have gluten or dairy, I highly recommend visiting.

I ordered a Paw Patrol cake from SugarHigh Bakery for my nephew's third birthday and was over the moon impressed with it. My nephew was the happiest little guy when he saw it and the cake was delish. In addition to having delish baked goods for humans, they also have a wide variety of goodies for our four legged friends. If all of that wasn't enough, they also have an amazing gelato bar. If you're in the Frankenmuth area, I highly recommend stopping by there for a treat. You won't be disappointed.

Nice store. Was excited to try every flavor. But decided on cuatro leche an “award” winner. Cake was moist and frosting not too sweet. But almost without flavor. The frosting was much like my local meijer frosts cakes with. Left a “fatty” film in your mouth. I’d try again. But not that flavor.
