I have been to this bakery many times through out the years i have lived in this area but i had the worst expierence with two of there cakes the marble cake it was all lobsided on one side. I just ordered recently was horrible tasting very dry very disappointed. Few years back i ordered red velvet cake and i was not impressed they have gone diwn hill from few years ago.

My mom and dad knew Rich and Jane Steenstra, so I grew up on this bakery. They made all the wedding cakes for my brothers, sister and me. I now take my grandson here. He is only 2 years. I wish I lived closer, but I don't. I love the chocolate covered donuts, my kids like the cookies and the cinnamon raisin rolls. We all LOVE the bookenpoken? cookies in the winter. We even delivered the cinnamon raisin rolls to Arizona one year for my brother who lived there. Best Bakery in Michigan.

I love these fresh made donuts so much, they are made in house fresh with breads and other things. Early in the morning when I want a fresh donut I get in my car and drive three towns away to go get custard filled fat balls with chocolate frosting on top. Always pretty ladies, with friendly smiles waiting to help every customer. From very young to the very old,I don't think I have left there without spending at least ten dollars or more. And because I am a repeat customer and get such good service, I always leave a tip.

Cute little store. I went here because I received a buy 6 get 2 free cookies coupon in the mail. Sadly, I found the cookies pretty bland. But the donuts were okay, (despite not much of a selection, it was 12 pm, maybe if I got there in the morning) and the cinnamon rolls looked amazing. I wish I picked one up. They have a selection of other desserts as well, seeing as it is a bakery. It's nice to have a mom and pop shop in Grandville. I refuse to buy gross thawed donuts from supermarkets.

Large selection to choose from everyday from donuts, rolls, cakes, pasteries and many Dutch treats you cant find anywhere else. A local treat and a historical treasure. Best donuts, homemade breads live the breadends. Its always busy but they have several staff working so wait is never long. If you have a favorite get there early or it will probably be gone. Everything is delish!! Calories are removed (lol)

This bakery has a lot of historical value. The goods that they bake use authentic or near authentic recipes from back from when the store was first started in the 1950’s. You will find that almost everything is made on site and fresh for the customers during the day. They have good deals on bakery items that are one day old, and reasonable pricing for everything else. I highly recommend. Oh, I also recommend their catering. They catered for my wedding in 2016 and were able to provide 250 cake doughnuts for all of my guests. Everyone loved the doughnuts!

Hometown favorite. Decent prices for some delicious treats. Their decorated cookies are adorable and their fat balls are to die for. Loaves of bread, rolls, and buns are always fresh, soft, and delicious. The windmill cookies are my all time favorite, but the pecan roll is a close runner up.
