Had gotten an amazing wedding cake here years ago (under a different owner?). Thought about getting an anniversary cake but was really disappointed in the flavor, cost, and options now. Cakes now taste generically super sweet like a grocery store cake. Very sad to see the heights they've fallen from.

Had the best tasting and beautifully decorated cake from this bakery, the staff was all very friendly and their bumpy cookies are probably the best thing I've had from any bakery. Would recommend milford bakery to everyone.

We ordered a surprise 50th birthday cake from this bakery. I spoke with the "decorator" two different times to confirm the details of the cake. Our cake was supposed to be banana with buttercream frosting. We picked the up the cake the day of the party and it was nicely decorated. After cutting into the cake, the entire cake (both layers) was red (which we thought it shouldn’t be for a banana cake). We tasted it, it tasted like a cherry. I immediately called the bakery and spoke with the manager/owner (the birthday girl wanted banana and did not like this cake). She said it was strawberry (still NOT what we ordered). I told her the cake was supposed to be a banana cake. The lady argued with me on the phone and told me she did not understand how her decorator, whose been there for 5 years, got this wrong and insisted I must have ordered the wrong cake. When I originally called to place my order, I wanted vanilla cake with fresh strawberries in the middle. I was told, by the decorator, that they do not do that and they only thing they do is a strawberry flavor cake. I told her I did not want that then. She (the birthday girl) does not like strawberry cake, only fresh strawberries. She read me off the multiple flavors and I choose banana. She gave me a price and the phone call was ended. I called back up and confirmed the details again and to verify the price. I explained that position to the owner, she still insisted that I must have ordered the wrong flavor. Again told her I would never order a strawberry flavored cake (which was awful). She did however, offer to bring a cake out of their freezer to the party. At this time, it was already late in the evening and not worth her time. I did appreciate the gesture. I asked her how we are going to rectify this situation. She said that she would get with the decorator and call me back. I never heard back from her. I called and left a message for her to return my call and still never received a phone call back.

There’s nothing quite like homemade baked goods & this Milford bakery is definitely up there! I love their soft, frosted sugar cookies personally & they have cute designs that change depending on the time of year. There is a minimum for cards, so be sure to bring cash if you’re just getting something small!

I grew up going to the bakery for their frosted cookies and chocolate milk. I still like to get them from time to time. The pasties are another one of my favorites!

We had a graduation party on June 11th, we ordered the cake by May 15th and received a phone call 2 days before the party, stating they had quoted the wrong price and it was going to cost more, at this point there wasn't any options and frankly the amount wasn't that significant so we proceeded with the order. We picked up the cake the day of the party at noon, when it arrived to the party location the decorations were bubbled and looked horrible. We called them to let them know and they very rudely said there is nothing they can do. We asked if they could fix it if we sent it back, she said yes. She asked us to resend the picture , we did, then she called back 3 times asking to resend the picture again and again. We picked up the cake and it still looked like garbage. The cake tasted awful and honestly shouldn't have been sold. This place in the past was fantastic, this was the third cake we ordered from them and after this experience, in good conscience I cannot recommend them and would urge everyone from using them for catering. After reading other reviews on Yelp, I would definitely advise buyer beware.

Ordered 3 doz VW. Bug cars for my granddaughters 16th birthday party .. I sent a picture of what I was looking for ..I knew the ones I sent were fondant ones but they said they could do them in cake icing and buttercream .. they assured me they had the cookie cutter for it . They were to be shaped cream cars with white buttercream windows and white daisy hubcaps . I spent 100 dollars on these . The shapes were blobs that obviously did not work so they drew the car on . Badly sprayed black on for tires on and a yellow spray oddly on them then did yellow Daisy’s without checking with me , I wanted white .. since i picked up the day of my event I was kinda stuck . I have been going here since I was a child .. it was an embarrassment taking them to the party .. i emailed them .. though .. no response until I emailed again saying I was waiting on their response before leaving a review .. I basically got .. sorry can’t fix it now hope you come back.. I will NOT be back .since the original owner has past .. the new owner has no regard for customer satisfaction. I think they feel since they have been in Milford so long they can rest on their past reputation .. one by one folks will see they need to find a new bakery .. as am I . If they could not do what I wanted they shouldn’t have taken the job .. now all they took was my money .

Not a very good place for custom cakes. We had a cake made where the topper was suppose to be made with fondant, but when we picked it up the topper was made with cardboard and didn't look good at all. And the cupcakes had a crown drawn on top that had zero consistency. There was not 2 cupcakes that looked the same.I read a review saying it's the best bakers in Milford, it's actually the only bakers in milford. As for it being affordable, it is. But you get what you pay for. The taste would get a much higher rating, but we figured we were paying a higher price for the aesthetics. For a plain looking cake or cupcakes we might go back again, but for a cool kids cake with designs we won't go here again.

Best. Cake. Ever. Had their cake at a party once and have gone there for special occasions (wedding, birthdays, graduation) ever since! AND, I live in Linden, so it's not like it's right around the block. SOOO good. Have to try the chocolate chip or the cherry!! They are a bit pricy in my eyes, but totally worth it when I can afford it.The frosting is sweet rather than the whipped airy stuff, but I love that. you can smell the cake just being in the same room!

Heard good things so I figured I'd try it for Paczki day... Will not go back after the experience we had! Called in a order in advance and when we went to pick it up the order was wrong. 70% of the order was missing. The lady was rude and didn't want to take any fault, just point the finger at me. No apologies, nothing. I even confirmed the order with whoever I spoke with on the phone, and got a total. Just an awful experience and I felt bad so many people had to wait while our order was finished being prepared.

Im sorry we paid for a butter cream frosting and got crisco and sugar on a wedding cake . the top tier was the only tier done in butter cream. Cake was decorated nice but tasted terrible.

This place is a staple in the Milford community. I have gone here since I was a kid. The staff is wonderful and their treats are amazing! The pricing is very fair as well. There is parallel street parking in the front of the building, or there is a large parking lot at the back of the storefronts, with handicap parking spots available. I would definitely check it out if you havent already.

I’ve order a jack daniels themed cake from them, cupcakes for a surprise 50th bday and engagement party sugar cookies. Everything has always been wonderful! I’ve ordered short notice and they’ve always taken care of me. The baked goods are delicious and their awesome designs are always a hit. Staff is friendly and patient. This is my go to baking company for anything!

We used Milford Baking Co for our June 13, 2015 wedding desserts and they were awesome!! We actually had donuts, cookies and cupcakes for 200 guests as well as a small cake for my husband and I to cut and they were still reasonably priced. Our guests raved at how delicious they all were and loved the detail they put into the desserts. I would definitely recommend them for your baking needs. Also - I had a very hard time finding a baker who could do all three donuts, cookies and cupcakes. Most I found only do cookies and cakes or just donuts not all three. I appreciated having one baker do all three for us.
