I agree...miss the previous owners. Prices went up, (just want to buy a donut-not the business) not the friendliest people running this business now. I have only been back twice with the new owners. Bet they have lost a lot of the business Mr. Vanderstelt had built up.

The most unfriendly service I ever received there. No greeting, no small talk, not even a thank you for my purchase. I was the only customer at the time. Everyone was so caught up in their world they forgot some one was there. Really miss the previous owners, there is much to be said for friendliness.

Delicious fresh baked goodies! Everything they serve is pure perfection! You wont be disappointed, its all so so good! Beautiful display cases and clean kitchen. Friendly staff and cozy interior. Seating area is dated and showing wear and tear but most people are too busy to sit down and eat anyway.

The quality of their baked goods is top notch, as good as you'll find anywhere, and vastly superior to the majority of other shops. The customer service is quick and attentive. Unlike some of the others posting on here, I don't expect their busy staff to spend ten minutes making small talk with me for buying a fritter or two from them. The only negative I can think of about this place is the time I have to spend in line behind some clown that takes ten minutes to pick out a dozen donuts, or ask 20 questions about the items in the case. Some of us have things to do and places to be, and standing in line waiting while a customer requests a 50 cent donut be decorated like a wedding cake or takes pictures of long johns on their phone isn't going to encourage me to stop here more often.

Unsanitary and made from the cheapest ingredients. I worked there after the new ownership and the love that the employees have is what makes the company. They use doughnuts they made a month ago remixed with peanuts to make the nutty. Their kitchen had black mold two years ago, and I had to work 12 hour shifts on my feet with no breaks. Good luck pronouncing any of the ingredients or having health if you eat the goobers they turn-out, I definitely wouldn't call it food.

For years on a daily and weekly basis, I loved and would purchase a dozen donuts at a time, after they were rumored to change ownership, the prices went up and we stopped going. Today, I thought I would try them for Paczki, A dozen for 15, was the price, took them to work only to listen to complaints of almost no filling and also the donut shell portion was hard and stale , almost like they were made days in advance. Won't go back again

Good but not as good as it used to be . Apple fritters huge very little apple and oversized to the point they have a tendency to be dry due to hardly any apples . NOT As friendly as they used to be . Seems they are busy with each other a lot of conversation . Customer seems to be secondary . .little things like a paper plate for dine In customers . Just things are not the same .Sorry

Goober's Bakery did the desserts for our wedding and they were a hit! We did a small naked cake, cupcakes, and donuts and everyone loved it. They gave us many different options for flavors, toppings, and fillings, so we were able to make things everyone would enjoy. They were flexible and easy to work with. We highly recommend them for any bakery needs.

Fantastic!! We used Goobers for a dessert bar and small cake for our wedding and it was phenomenal! Delicious treats, huge variety, friendly staff (Dawn was great with communication and a private tasting), great price, and our guests raved about how delicious and unique to us this option was.
