So, I meant to post a review over a year ago as Giuseppe's did my wedding cake in May 2017, but they also made an anniversary cake(just a copy of our top layer) this year for our 1 year anniversary. They also did my daughter's 3rd birthday cake! They all were aboslutely beautiful and tasted great! I cant say enough great things about this bakery. Thank you Giuseppe's for your professionalism and amazing service!

I give this place one star because I can’t give 0 ! Horrible experience! As soon as I walked in the shop the store smells really bad .. I should’ve followed my gut . The baker said she was able to bake the cake I wanted (custom cake) showed her the picture we took some details out to bring the prize down because it was ridiculously expensive .. I was told the cake was going to be fondant ... I picked up yesterday and the cake was horrible ! Not even close to the picture I sent them . It was made with buttercream and there was only fondant in some of the designs .. when we cut the cake at the party the layers started falling apart!! It was a disaster ! I don’t recommend this place at all ! Very bad service . !!!!! I lost my money .

I’m 11 and a ladies served us we ordered two football cookies and she said the price was 2.25 then I said no one cookie and she said 2.25 then I said you said 2.25 for two cookies she was like yea 2.25 SL I paid and was like for get it btw she was dark skinned and had braided hair someone pls set her strait or don’t let her give you service cause she scams kids. On a good note the sweets were good but someone fire her she done this twice to me

I purchased a cake from them only for less than an hour later my top layer to slide completely down the bottom layer of cake. I then called Giuseppe’s back to be hung up on several times and told that the problem was caused by me and to call the Better Business Bureau on her and that she’s been in business for 33 years. She then proceeded to tell me that she would not try to fix it nor would she accommodate me in any way shape of form. Don’t waste your money completely unprofessional, awful customer service, and very argumentative!!!

I will never spend money with this bakery again! I ordered 2 Key Lime Pies from them for Easter, what I received was horrible! The consistency of the pies was identical to that of a jelly filled donut. Needless to say they were impossible to serve to my guests, it was a sloppy mess. I was told to refrigerate them so that they could "set up" because they were just made, they never set up. On their next business day, I called to see if there was anyway i could be compensated for such a disappointment. The baker I spoke with was quite argumentative and said out of 20 people she made pies for, im the only one complaining. She insisted that I was full of it and that she'd been baking for 40 years. The bottom line is, no matter how many pies you've made, NOT EVERYONE is going to be satisfied with your work. What ever happened to the customer is always right? Then she said "you can't go to any other bakery and if things aren't to your liking, get a refund". A bit of advice: THE BAKE STATION in Southfield, on Southfield Rd. Is the best! Too bad they were closed over the holiday. They treat you with respect and if something you order isn't right, they give you a discount or offer to redo your order.

I have gone to this place several times over the past year and found only one thing I liked the plain brownies. Honestly everything else I tried was not that good. The last time I went in the brownies where half as thick as before but I thought perhaps this was a mistake. Today I purchased four more and found them to be not only half as thick but stale and not nearly as tastey. I can't recamend this place to anyone. Go to Sweetheart bakery right down the street, they seldom disappoint.

I always get my cakes in advance and refrigerate cause my daughter birthday is on New Year & they close each time my party guest compliment me on cake but this time I was out of town so my sister kept it for a week yes I was worried about it drying out & it didn't no other bakery will ever make our cakes I ❤ Giussepe's.
