I ordered by phone a 3 layer 10 inch chocolate cake with chocolate buttercream icing. I asked for suggestions as to how the cake should be decorated and Shelly took great care to write instructions for the decorator. The cake was beautiful! Everybody loved it! The cake was very moist and the icing was fantastic. Just simple piping, flowers and writing. I first I thought that the price was a little high but the quality of the cake was far above anything expectation that I had, well worth the price! This is the pace to go for cake for your next party!

I had the best eclair in my life it was so big I could not finish it all I ate on it for two days and my buddy got the strawberry taco it was the best we have ever ate I would recommend this bakery to anyone who has a sweet tooth and they really belong on any baking show out there they have been around since the sixties so you know that they got there stuff together they have a customer here for life and I drove two and a half hours just to satisfy my sweet tooth!!!!

Whenever I was in the Waldorf area, I've been going to Wall's Bakery since it was on Rt 301 in the "Wigwam" I don't live close so can only visit when I'm in the area on other business. I would give them 5 Stars, but they no longer carry my favorite coconut macaroons. My consolation, their chocolate eclairs, was great, but I"m not sure it's worth the 1 hr drive I would make for their macaroons.

The service I received was terribly discriminatory. I look very young, and I was ignored for about 17 minutes (yes I counted after she walked by me the 2nd time while looking in my eyes) and ONLY acknowledged by the associate because I returned to my car to get my daughter and came back in. I think she thought I was a child, but once she realized I was an adult she served me. I couldnt believe that she would pass me that many times and completely ignore me so thats why I stayed (plus I wanted to try the eclairs that I've heard so much rave about).... I wanted to see how long it would take her to acknowledge me. She never once applogized to me for making me wait. I will never go back there again, and the eclairs aren't as good as I'd heard.

If you are in the Waldorf area and you love sweet pastries - you need to go to Walls Bakery. The huge eclair is a beast but a delicious one. Like over 6" long and 3" wide - the pastry, custard filling and chocolate topping are all perfect. No small feat considering the size. Wife and I split one before hiking in nearby Cedarville Forrest - perfect quick burning energy. This place is throw back American bakery - apple fritters, donuts, whoopie pies, soft and sweet breads, all expertly made.

Try the walnut danish, you will not regret it! Major fan of the eclairs and especially the Boston cream and buttercream/angel cream donuts. But the rarer cake donuts are hands down my favorite. Erica, who has been with the bakery for years, is the nicest lady, who recognizes customers even if they’ve only been in a couple of times! I also LOVE the snickerdoodles and the “Chinese” almond cookies with a smear of chocolate across the top.

The people who work here are so friendly! I recommend the chocolate Eclairs! They also did a cake for my baby shower a few years ago that tasted amazing! I bought a birthday cake premade a few weeks ago and it wasn't as good add the one we ordered. For a special occasion I would place an order.

Beware....to order a cake you need to order it by the Wednesday (a week) before you need it. The lady on the phone today was very rude about this change in ordering procedures when explaining it to me and then politely hung up on me. Love their cakes...hate the constant change in cake ordering policies.
