We held a bridal shower here and everything was simply wonderful! The bride to be had an amazing time and everyone commented on how wonderful and delicious the teas and food were. The cookies that they made for our favors were such a great touch. We will be back for sure!

The food here was fantastic! I was skeptical at first, I will be honest. My partner's friend recommended Sweet Simplici-Tea and they were spot on. The atmosphere is both unique and interesting and the food is great too. The portion sizes are appropriate for the pricing, and the variety of teas would please anyone. Absolutely no complaints from me as I look forward to coming back to try it again!

Charming and full of character. Had a small baby shower of 12 people here and everything was above my expectations. The staff was beyond helpful and kind. The food/tea selections were plentiful and delicious. Could not have asked for a better afternoon tea party!

This place is cute, but over priced. Nothing worth to pay this much for not a quality food. The owner tried to trick us and not bringing us the food we ordered as a victorian tiers food. If you see the picture just For 4 little slices of fruits and 2 small pieces of paistries and 3 small pieces of finger sandwich, she charged us $22 ,when asking for the third tier which was filled with one of my freinds seperat order of soup and sandwich. She was denying to fill it with the real order from menu. After arguing she brought us one small scone with cream. Really?? little sandewiches' price was equall to a luxury restaurants. It was not really pleasant to go and pay a huge bill for nothing

I love this place. The owner is very friendly. The scones are wonderful and worth the 20 mile trip. Tea is lovely, satisfying and relaxing. Many tea selections. Hats to try on. Nice table settings. Did I mention that the scones were wonderful? Cranberry and orange and raisin are my favorites.

Went here for my cousin's wedding shower. The atmosphere was lovely, the food was superb, and the staff was wonderful. Would definitely go here again given the chance. (P.S: try the Buccaneer tea!)

If I could give one star I would. We stopped by the place today during Ice Festival with 2 little kids. Bought juice, cakes, and prepared to sit to eat them all (it was cold outside and no place to sit with kids). VERY rude young man run to us and told us to get out of here. When we delayed (had to put hats and scarfs on kids) he almost grabbed the kids (2 and 4 yo) to kick them out. UNBELIEVABLE! I've NEVER experienced anything like that before. When we asked why we are treated like that (there were several tables with customers eating) we were told that it was tough day for them and they don't want to sit anyone anymore. NO MORE visits from us and I'll definitely share my experience with everyone I know.! WORST EXPERIENCE in eatery EVER!

Sweet Simplici-Tea catered my bridal shower and they went above and beyond with the food and the service. They were able to accommodate dietary restrictions of my guests, all while providing top of the line service. While I can't remember all of the servers names- I can attest their kindness, thoughtfulness, as well as professionalism. The servers made sure that both my mom and I ate and enjoyed ourselves even though it made their jobs more difficult. All of the food was delicious and the tea was superb! I am going to be going out of my way to enjoy their teas regularly. I will say a special thank you to Becca. She made an amazing "naked" cake and it was her first one! You never would have know that it was the first naked cake she had ever made! I cannot say enough about how wonderful the ladies of Sweet Simplici-Tea are. Thank you for making my bridal shower so wonderful.

I love this place. I always get the Royal Afternoon tea where you get several small courses of food, but they have a lot of other lighter choices if you'd like something else. Many tea options to choose from and you can buy the loose tea to take home by the oz if you find a favorite. I've loved everything I've had and I never leave hungry. Decor and atmosphere is very quaint, perfect to just enjoy yourself and relax as you sip away. I always look forward to going back!

Just the sweetest little tea room with delicious fare. Their Poppy seed dressing is amazing and I'm always torn as to whether to choose soup or salad for my option. The soups are always stellar, too. Dessert? Oh, my.... Let's just say they never ever disappoint. Between the food, the tea (SO many tasty varieties), the ambiance, the friendly service.... Sweet Simplici-Tea is not to be missed!

My girlfriend's and I had high tea here a few weeks ago. We had nine different teas, all wonderful, but I particularly liked the buccaneer and red velvet. The food was also good, but they weren't able to fully accomodate some of our unique diet needs. The best part was the daily scone, cheddar and chive. They aren't particularly set up for large parties, but we made a reservation and they threw some tables together for us. The service was also great.

We used Sweet Simplici-Tea as the vendor for our wedding, and we were more than impressed and happy with our experience. They did a wonderful job making gorgeous and totally delicious desserts for our wedding. We specifically wanted French Macaroons, and were having a hard time finding anyone who made them, but we stumbled upon Sweet Simplici-Tea right in our backyard, in Sykesville. Jessica made the tastiest, pretties, French Macaroons, Cake Truffles and chocolate covered pretzels for our 140 person wedding. She was so accommodating and friendly during the planning process. We tossed around a lot of flavors and ideas, and had a tasting of lots of things to help decide what we wanted. She also made our cake, which was just beautiful and so tasty, as well. She created a beautiful display of our desserts and was willing to set everything up and take extra time to make it just perfect. I would highly recommend Sweet Simplici-Tea to anyone looking for an awesome pastry chef, and outstanding customer service.

I ordered cupcakes for a family with diverse dietary restrictions. The bakery was able to accommodate all off my needs, including ordering on a Wednesday and picking up Saturday morning. The cupcakes were great looking, and tasted fabulous. The sugar free and vegan chocolate with vegan buttercream icing was decadently rich, and my husband loved the peanut butter cupcakes.

My mom and I have been going to Sweet Simplicitea for a few years now and always have a wonderful experience. They have delicious food and a wide variety of teas to choose from. I was surprised to find out they also bake specialty cakes, like the fancy types you see on Pinterest, so I decided to use them for my baby shower cake as well as French macarons. I was thrilled with how both turned out. I was able to get both the cake and macarons in any flavor I wanted, they can do basically any flavor. Jessica did an amazing job on the cake. It was elephant themed, covered in fondant (that actually tasted good), the cake itself was delicious, and my guests loved how it looked. Becca made the macarons which ranged from light blue to dark blue per my request and my guests loved them. I'm so glad that I was able to patronize a small local business for my shower desserts and thrilled with how well they turned out.

Place was pretty busy on the Saturday afternoon we went even though it was raining. Interior is like a cross between an antique store and a tea parlor. Menus with tea varieties didn't explain how to order or have prices on it and we had to ask for the other menus with this info to be given to us. When busy, servers may get distracted/overwhelmed so try to have everyone arrive at the same time and order all at once so everything can come out at the same time. Also, I asked if they had hot chocolate because I actually don't like tea (was there for a party) and turns out they had instant mix, which was fine by me (although I wouldn't count on them having it all the time).
