From the very beginning I absolutely loved Nanette. I tried calling many different caterers for my wedding, but none of them compared to her friendliness and professionalism. She immediately was engaged and wanted to work with me on getting it within our budget. She was personable, kind, and easy to work with from the very beginning. During the tasting, she was knowledgable and extremely hospitable. She listened to all our ideas and concerns. She was extremely helpful and offered us many different food options. I felt as if our caterer was also our friendly host and greatly enjoyed our time at Main and Market. The atmosphere was clean, warm, and inviting. Nanette had many great ideas both to save money and what to expect the day of. We had two more tastings before the wedding. One for my husband, who came from Minnesota and the other to clarify what we wanted to add. We all enjoyed ourselves immensely! We went home with full bellies, even though it was just supposed to be samples. The day of the wedding, the staff couldn’t have been better! They were all extremely hospitable, hard working, well dressed, and well mannered. My husband asked for ginger ale at least two times at the sweetheart table and it was there in a snap. We still get compliments on how good the food was. We also added an ice cream bar and mini pecan pies a month before the wedding, and they had it there with no problem! My husband, mother, father and I highly recommend this caterer and Main & Market to anyone! They did such a fantastic job and hope to use them again in the future! Meanwhile, we are thoroughly enjoying their restaurant and all there delicious food and hospitality there.

We have been coming here for dinner for many years. One of our favorite restaurants. The food is always fresh and delicious no matter what we order. The cakes are wonderful. Wade was our waiter yesterday and provided excellent and friendly service! Pricing is reasonable. We had the 2 for $32 yesterday which is only available on Tuesdays and includes a salad and cake. Loved everything!

The atmosphere is pleasant, the food and drinks are out of this world, and every staff member I spoke to was incredibly attentive and friendly. I highly recommend it! You're sure to enjoy anything you order there, but I highly recommend the spiced ice tea, fish and chips, and lemon cake.

Very nice Sunday Brunch on the Annapolis Neck. The location is convenient from anywhere. The food and service were excellent. Try the Cherizo Scramble and sub polenta for the potatoes.... Outstanding.

Very stylish decor, and clean! The food was delicious. I ordered the bkfast tacos with maple sausage and it was divine! The bathrooms even come equipped with hairspray, mouthwash and feminine products - something you don't see very often. Very tailored to keeping their customers happy.

The food here is great. The staff is always nice, and the service is good. They have good coffee, too. When we eat there it's usually breakfast or lunch, so I don't know much about dessert, but those I have had were quite good. Their cakes are popular.

A warm local breakfast and lunch spot near Annapolis. Always great eggs and mini pumpkin muffins. Different omelette and Benedict options that are delicious. There’s even half portion eggs Benedict which is my perfect size! They do have dinner but it’s a bit overpriced for what they’re serving. Especially with so many other nice restaurants around.

I looked at the reviews today in the parking lot and thought I would stop in. Service was ok my waitress just was not very enthusiastic about being there. That is just coming from being in the food service industry before and also being a waiter that used to rely on tips. I got the MI burger that was good and seasoned good . It was a little under cooked I ordered med well and it was more like medium but I didn't mind. Everything was very fresh. Also very clean and modern space. I would of given it 5 stars if not for those little things and when I'm in the area definitely eat there again. :)

The waiter was rude, and they don’t have real maple syrup as an option. The bakery items except the carrot cake are pretty mundane. Some have sprinkles. The space is nice. Nothing special for eggs benedict, they should try Taylor Ham.

I love MI food; however, the person who answers the phone to take carry out orders is very rude. Today I ordered two half salads. They menu read the salads come with Gorgonzola cheese, but when we got them, they had bleu cheese on them. I called to let her know and she told me "they are the same thing here". Well that's fine, but you should probably put it on the menu then. I was not rude at all about it and she was not nice nor apologetic. You have lost two customers due to your ignorance :)

My mom insisted on taking me and the kids here for Sunday brunch. Glad we went! The menu was rather short: breakfast sweets and omelets mostly. But there were tons of options to dress them up. The kids enjoyed light delicious pancakes, scrambled eggs and crispy bacon. While I tried a spinach, ham and onion omelet accompanied by hash browns (not greasy at all) and wheat toast that was crisp on the outside and soft inside. The fresh squeezed orange juice was delicious. I'm pregnant and didn't expect the orange juice to go down so smoothly. But it was so sweet and gentle I had 2 glasses! The food is simple, tastes great and doesn't feel like a brick lying in my tummy. Oh, the portion sizes are generous too.

We would definitely recommend Main and Market as we had a wonderful experience working with them. Debra was a pleasure to work with throughout the planning of our cocktail hour and reception. She was well organized, knowledgeable, and personable. She made us feel comfortable and at ease as we narrowed down our choices for the menu. There was no rush during our tasting and Debra was open to our ideas for modifications of certain items. Debra was very responsive in the months, weeks, and days leading up to our wedding. She did a great job when we did our on-site walkthrough of the property (and she brought desserts!), considering logistics we hadn’t thought of that would have made the day of the wedding more stressful if it wasn’t brought up. The food was absolutely delicious and the service was outstanding throughout the wedding. We received many compliments about the appetizers, buffet, and bourbon ice cream. The biggest hit may have been the warm buttermilk biscuits with honey butter (so good!). The catering staff were professional, friendly, and attentive to guest requests. Debra was also on-site to make sure everything ran smoothly. I can't say enough about this company. I initially walked in to see what options I had for my small team to have a few catered meals. I was pleasantly introduced to April and she did an amazing job at uncovering my needs and recommending options. That was nearly 3 years ago... today I am still just as satisfied and don't think I will ever use other caterers. Top Notch Service, there really isn't much else to say! Really nice local place. Upscale dining. They are well known for their breakfast offerings which are delicious and unique. I'm gluten free a nd have great experiences when I go there. Also their muffins ( pumpkin spice!) and desserts are all made in house and yummy. Breakfast seting can take a while, especially on the weekends. Call ahead. Closing times are too early in my opinion aand firm, firm, firm. They don't stay open late, ever! Known in the area for catering nice, upscale events like weddings at Quiet Waters Park, nearby.

A triple-wide strip mall location with a bakery, cafe, and catering section. We went to the cafe for brunch. Pretty good food. Croissants were not that fresh and seemed to be heated up to serve, which made them too mushy. Eggs were great. Home fries were fried tater-tots which although tasty fell short of expectations for "home fries".

It pains me to write this review, but I think at this point it has to be done. I've been going to Main Ingredient/Main & Market regularly for brunch for about five years now. The service has always been spotty, but when we went for a special birthday brunch this past Saturday the service was beyond bad. First, one of our party's order was never put in so while the rest of us were eating they went without. The meal was finally delivered as the rest of us were finishing up. Apologies were offered but nothing else. The real problem started when we asked for our checks. We had asked the waitress when we ordered to keep our checks separate---five in total with eight guests. When she brought the final bill and we asked again for it to be separated she was clearly annoyed. It took THIRTY MINUTES for her to break out the checks. First she brought three of the same check. Then she swiped one credit card for two different checks. She was a disaster. Bottom line, the food here is good but not great. There are so many other options now for breakfast/brunch with staffs that actually WANT to serve. This regular customer is going to find a new spot at which to become a regular.

Stopped in on a recent Sunday afternoon and placed an order to go. One of those rare days when this place isn't packed with diners... Ordered the delicious turkey and boursin wrap with a side of fruit salad -- which was delicious and filling! A lone vanilla cupcake with vanilla icing was the scrumptious ending to a perfect late lunch/early dinner. The staff, as always, was attentive, professional and kind -- which made for another perfect experience at Main & Market! 5-stars all day long!!

I thought this was the best bakery in Annapolis but I think I will stick with Whole Foods. Very disappointed. The main ingredient makes their cakes from a boxed mix and their frostings and fillings all come pre-made just like the garbage you would find at Giant or Safeway but theirs is 3x the price.

My husband and I struggled to find a bakery that would provide sugar free cupcakes for our wedding. We had 6-10 guests that were diabetic and we wanted them to enjoy themselves and have dessert options. Main & Market saved the day. Nanette invited us in for a personal tasting, provided us with all of the options and was very helpful in the decision making process. In the end we chose six types of mini cupcakes including two sugar free options, four types of mini finger desserts including one sugar free option and a two tier cake for cutting. Everything was delivered correct and on time. Our guests couldn’t wait to start sampling the selection at our wedding. They are still raving about the variety, how delicious everything was and how wonderful our cake looked! I plan to continue to go to Main and Market for all of our dessert needs in the future. I would recommend Main and Market to anyone looking for friendly service, gorgeous desserts but most importantly scrumptious desserts.

Probably should go here more than I do. I've only been there for lunch and it's always been fabulous. Sandwich was pretty substantial and delicious. Wait staff is always very nice and accommodating. Last time I was there I sat in a booth and had a beautiful view of the pastry case. Unfortunately I didn't save room for dessert and I also didn't get anything to go. One of my regrets. Writing this makes me want to go back soon!
