Situated in a superior bakery they offer counter service and plenty of seating for breakfast and lunch. The menu also includes classic or Israeli breakfast specialties including an excellent shakshuka or lox and bagel platter. For lunch they serve freshly made salads, superior home-made soups and sandwiches including wraps and Panini toast in a comfortable, pleasant and friendly Israeli dairy café setting. There is a high value soup and half salad or sandwich special. The key is to get there before 11:50AM or after 12:40PM to reduce line wait time. The fresh quality food is of good value, ordered and paid for at a counter and delivered to your table. Espresso machine gets good use. A night they transform the place with soft lights and tablecloths into a very pleasant table service bistro with fresh fish, homemade pasta and creative specialty options for a quiet upscale evening meal. Best food and desserts ANYWHERE! Their fish is incredible, but only available at dinner time. Definitely try the strawberry bavarian, the donut, and the tiramisu. The black forest cake is also wonderful. I highly recommend the lox bagel and the omlettes if you go at lunch. Be sure to get a reservation if you go for dinner, because the place is small and fills up very quickly. This is my favorite restaurant/bakery.

Decent food but way too overpriced. We bought food and drinks and asked for a cup of coffee to take with us and was told that it was not allowed! There is a kids park not too far from there this is really disappointing. I mean honestly it was like get your s*** and get out. I will never go back.

Great place for a nice-casual breakfast, brunch, or lunch (kosher dairy). Bagels, omlettes, wraps (I like the Tunesian), sandwiches (my wife likes the Golan Toast), and our family's favorite: soups of the day! They close briefly in the late afternoon and then open again for a more formal dinner service with fish and pasta entrees.

It was a nice place to meet my niece and her friend for breakfast. The surface was good. The food was good. It is not fancy but it was very comfortable. So they were busy, they could not rush us. I recommend this kosher Dairy restaurant

I happened to be in the area and found this place to be a gem! Had the wild mushroom tart as suggested by the manager (owner?)...awesome! Can't wait to try other things on the menu, unless I can't help myself to have another mushroom tart. The bakery case has gorgeous cakes and cookies and tarts, all baked in house. I got the gluten free brownie and it was so good I couldn't stop myself from eating it when my intention was to wait awhile before delving into its chocolatety goodness. I'll be back.

Got breakfast here with my family while we were visiting Silver Spring for Sukkot. The restaurant provided a sizable sukkah, which was very clean. Their bakery display was not well stocked. We ordered the shakshouka which was small for the price. It's in a very convenient location, and the ambiance is nice.

We reserved a table for a party of 10 today. While the restaurant was packed with customers and we had to wait a little, the food and service were excellent. We had a large selection of brunch options including waffles, paninis, omelets, salads, wraps and a delicious chocolate cake for desert. Everyone was happy and delighted with the food. We will definitely come back again. Thank you for a terrific experience.

Surprisingly good. When I got into the restaurant, just by looking around, I lowered my view of the place. On first glance it looks like a run of the mill Jewish restaurant. Modestly decorated and slightly degrading. There are tables where ever one can fit, and a simple bar. Nothing to impressive. But once you try the food, it all changes. The flavors and freshness of the foods blow away all those thoughts and give this place a five star. The pizza, the pasta, and the fish all cooked well. My only issue with the place is the service. Although they try really hard to serve everyone, when they are busy they are understaffed. You end up waiting for your food, check, and bill. Still, I would go back.

I think this kosher pastry/coffee shop is great. It's quiet, and it's not very busy during AM hours. They have a diverse staff and they are friendly. I look forward to sampling different dishes/pastries from here. I didn't give it 5 stars because they're a little on the pricey side for my personal taste, but will reconsider editing this review if they come up with more reasonably price specials in the $5-7 range particularly for sandwiches. Overall, I liked it.

My family and I were not treated as the rest of the customers. Service was rude, they didn’t greet us, not a thank you for coming, when our food was delivered to our table there was no “enjoy your meal”. We felt like we were not welcome.

I have always had problems with this particular restaurant's service. After a six month hiatus, I came in today and politely asked the counter person whether I order here or can I sit down at a table. He told me to sit down at a table. About 15 minutes passed and I received no service. A family came in and ordered at the counter. I went to the counter and asked the same person why he told me to sit down when you're supposed to order at the counter. Of course, I'm the bad guy for getting aggravated.
