Was a bit disappointed that they did not do the lunch menu on the weekend, but the breakfast sandwich was delicious.

Sean McCloy

Absolutely bliss -- homemade and delicious food at a reasonable price. Wish there was more room to sit, but not much to complain about. Friendly staff. Just excellent -- one of the reasons Munjoy Hill is the place to be!

Alycia McDuff

A great place for breakfast or lunch (or brunch). Katie Made Bakery sits on the East End , right on Munjoy Hill. Katie Made is one of my favorite places in Portland to eat. The pastries are delectable (you seriously need to try one of their cheese and strawberry danishes - I get one every time I go), and the breakfast and lunch options are to die for (for lunch, I often get the Cuban sandwich, which has real slow-cooked meats). The owners are the ones cooking and preparing the food, and are the nicest people. There isn't a lot of seating, so at times it can be a grab-n-go place but in the summer they have tables outside. Parking is only on-street. Overall, due to the prices and great food quality - I would highly recommend this place.

Great food. The eggs in the breakfast sandwiches are wonderful. The lunch is just the right size and hanging out with a cup of coffee and the coffee cake is great. The staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating, including with a few hours notice turning out 25 breakfast sandwiches. Wish I lived closer so this could be my morning coffee spot.

Love the breakfast sandwiches here, especially with bacon and avocado. Their sandwich at lunch, with brie, is unbelievably good, as well.

Loved my breakfast sandwich here - they have a really great variety of sandwiches that are sure to please even the pickiest eater in your family. They are cheap at $6 a sandwich, and the drinks are great too - loved the homemade chai. We had a lovely time sitting out on the patio enjoying a Portland summer morning with our breakfast.

Amazing breakfast sandwiches and great coffee. The outdoor seating area was perfect for a Portland summer morning. Cost wise its is great all around. All sandwiches are under $6 and the drink prices were very good. Service was quick and there were a multitude of baked goods we didn’t get to try but looked delicious.

Came to Maine for my anniversary. Stumbled across this bakery from our Airbnb. I don't know how, I don't know why, but their breakfast sandwiches were the best I have ever had. We had it twice in the weekend we stayed up there. Can't wait to come back!

Awesome scone and sandwiches! I had a lobster special that was delicious. However, the lack of restroom was problematic. It's more suitable for take out than sit down.

Sandra Foster

Great place to have a delicious breakfast or lunch...surroundings inside are very tranquil and warm. My favorites are the farm fresh eggs, home made cornbeef hash and delicious pies especially the strawberry rhubarb!

Ben Handler

Awesome atmosphere and great pastries and breakfast sandwhiches.

I've only tried Katie Made bakery once. Here is my good experience! My s/o and I came into the restaurant and were greeted right away. In the same breath, we were asked what we were going to order. (Being our first time, we wanted to check out the menu before ordering.)I let her know that we would probably be getting a sandwhich. She told me that they had both breakfast and lunch sandwiches available. I thanked her. While glancing at the menu another associate asked what we were going to order. We'd only been looking at the menu for 30 seconds or so, and hadn't decided. At that point, we just hurried and ordered. The fully loaded breakfast sandwhich with sausage AND bacon, eggs, mushroom, onions and provolone was the clear choice. It only comes with one meat, but having both sounded delicious. We also asked what bakery good was the favorite. The cashier named a few favorites and the clear winner for me sounded like the strawberry & cheese danish. Yumm! A gentlemen came in after us and clearly had a large order that he pre arranged. Before starting my sandwhich, the ladies behind the counter took care of collecting the last few items of his order first. We weren't in a hurry, so this wasn't that big of a deal. Neither the breakfast sandwhich, nor the Danish had an ounce of disappointment. They both had rich flavor. I would order both of them again. They also carry CBD (coffee by design) coffee which is one of my favorites in Portland. We didn't want to order a coffee, so we didn't get any on this day. I'd like to try their cakes, tortes and pies one day!

After a really nice guided tour of the the Portland Observatory (last existing observation tower // $10 for adults) we found our way to Katie's while waiting for the bus. The staff was great, the sandwiches superb, and the locally-made chai iced tea was refreshing and delicious. My wife and I would recommend this spot to anyone! Definitely a nice find on a hot day in Portland!

Great eats and a Sweet atmosphere!

A friendly and delicious local bakery and cafe. Exceptional baked goods; highly recommend for special-order cakes and pastries!

Stopped in once on vacation. The simple breakfast sandwich was the best I’ve ever had. If cooking eggs can be a super power, someone there has it. The house coffee is good and the staff is friendly.

This place is amazing. The food is incredible, and I've never had a breakfast sandwich like the ones they make here. Fluffy eggs, piled so thick, with excellent toppings. I have no idea how it's even profitable for them to sell their sandwiches with everything they stuff into them. Delicious delicious food. That's not even to mention their amazing baked goods. My wife loves all their cakes, pastries, and other delights. They made our wedding cake, and it was perfect and beautiful. I also love their coffee. This place is one of Portland's secret treasures.

Mixed berry muffin was chock full of berries, from top, through the middle, down to the bottom. My spinach, roasted pepper, goat cheese, egg and avocado sandwich was fresh and delicious; the eggs were light and fluffy. Sandwiches, baked goods, CBD coffee, teas, something for everyone. Friendly staff, too!

Keith Santos

Amazing mom and pop shop. Great breakfast food and collab with local businesses like CBD to get the taste of Portland in one meal.

Katie Made makes the best breakfast sandwiches in the world. After 14 years in NYC and Brooklyn, I know this much is true. The granola, cakes, and cookies are also off the hook. My only request is for an espresso machine but, in the meantime, I enjoy the tea. :)

Great for an easy breakfast; sandwiches are tasty and filling with the fluffiest eggs and wonderful fresh ingredients on the softest English muffin. The iced coffee had ice cubes made from coffee, which was a nice thoughtful touch. They are biodegradable friendly, and such nice people. Really enjoyed our time here.
