Stopped by after Mardi gras and took a look around. We purchased a slice of the strawberry King cake. It was very good despite it being a day old. We also purchased chocolate doberge cake that was very good. We also picked up a lemon tart pie as well as a chocolate delight cake. Everything we tried was very good. The staff was very friendly and attentive.

This is a favorite stop when we go into the city, but the almond stuffed croissants were not fresh today; disappointing. The rest of the treats we picked up were great. This place has unusual treats that you don't find just anywhere. My wife is crazy about the krugelhoph and turtle cookies. I like the croissants and fruit tarts.

Normally I would give this place 5 stars as I've been using them for various things since my early 20's so over 20 years...My cake was not ready at pickup and the decorator was busy "eating" upon my arrival.When questioned by counter help she told her to tell me to come back in an hour!What???!!No you get up off your wide butt and come finish my cake.Round trip I traveled well over 75 miles for this cake!She refused to get up where I summoned for the manager.The manager made her get up and do her job but not without me having to wait over 30 minutes.For all my troubles they took $5.00 off my over $50 order.Im hoping my cake turned out ok as far as taste but you can see visually that it was a rushed and not up to par for Maurice's decorated cake.Im sick and really just wanted to be home.Not a good day for a birthday....My order was supposed to be ready at noon and I showed at 12:35 because of unforeseen traffic.I did not get out of there till sometime after 1:00

This is a cute little pastry shop that sells donuts, cakes, turnovers, cookies, danishes, croissants, muffins, tarts, eclairs and scones. The $1.45 twisted glazed donut I had was light and delicious. There is seating inside to enjoy your treat. They have a parking lot at the bakery. I found this place when I stopped by NAPA across the street.

We were very excited to find out about it on the internet. When we got there it appeard the place is in an industrial area! Walked in just the same, they had lots on display, but we could not tell what we were looking at, no names on anything. We knew they were cakes, but what kind?? We love chocolate eclairs, these looked poor, dead, stale. We left.

Been here a few times and finally leaving a review. First, the pastries can’t be beat. I don’t remember exactly what we got but I remember everything was delicious. Just today I finally tried the famous Ponchatoula strawberry king cake. I had heard rave reviews from my co-workers so I knew I had to try it. It was not over-hyped to say the least. It is so light and delicious, all the flavors play so well together. I heard the ladies behind the counter talking that they refilled their case three times yesterday and still sold out of them. I can see why- it is impeccable. It might be one of my favorite king cakes right next to Dong Phuong. Do yourself a favor and try this king cake! Your only regret will be not trying it sooner.

Actually blown away by the quality of croissant at this little out of the way place off Veterans. Definitely going back and getting a whole box of pastries. Friendly service and a few little tables. Hot drip coffee only, but it's ok cause it seems like they're focusing on their baking. Delish!

This is the best bakery in town and the competition is fierce. The Ponchatoula King Cake is the best pastry ever. During King cake season is available all the time and off season it must be ordered a day ahead. Customer service is outstanding and I never had any issues when ordering ahead. Nice little area if you want to sit and enjoy your treats.
