Maple Street Bakery made the cake for my wedding and it was perfect!!! It was fresh, delicious, and beautiful. It was exactly how I wanted it! Everyone at the wedding talked about how tasty our cake was. Everyone who works there is amazing and really accommodating. I highly recommend this bakery!

We had Maple Street Bakery do a small replica of my sister's wedding cake from 25 years ago for a big 25th Anniversary Celebration and it looked perfect and AMAZING. They were all blown away at how much it looked like their original cake. Best of all, it tasted fantastic! This is where I will be getting all my future special occasion cakes. Thanks Maple Street Bakery for making a wonderful celebration even better!

Step back in time at this delightful old fashioned bakery and cafe. Wonderful place with delicious sandwiches, scrumptious baked goods and friendly staff. Put this hidden treasure on your list of places to visit!

The fresh cinnamon rolls are the best.

Friendly staff, great breakfast sandwiches and good coffee. I go frequently on my days off. Only problem is it can get very busy and overwhelm the staff during high volume times. Not the fastest place to go for a quick lunch break. Otherwise highly recommended.

We ordered a cake for our daughters baptism and it was absolutely beautiful AND delicious!! Everyone was raving about the cake! I would 100% recommend going to this bakery for any of your needs! Well worth it! Will use over and over again! We live about 45 minutes away and we’ll worth the drive!

In case the bakery deletes this review off their site I'd like everyone to see it before thinking about ordering a cake from Maole Street bakery in Abita Springs. Before you read this keep in mind I paid $75 for this cake. I came into the shop to order a cake for my gender reveal party and I told the lady I wanted edible glitter on one side of the cake and she suggested I use luster dust which is a fine glitter dust. I told her to put a princess crown or something girly on that side to represent a baby girl. I told her the other side of the cake I wanted guns because the theme of the gender reveal was guns and glitter. I told her my fiance likes to duck hunt and asked if she could add some ducks to that side as well. When I received the cake I was very disappointed. one side had a princess crown made of fondant that was carving in and almost looked like a jester hat. tTe other side had a blue pond of ducks and no guns. the ducks looked like my 5 year old niece made them with play dough. I was extremely dissappointed after seeing pics on their page and someone suggesting this bakery to me. When i told them it was supposed to have a gun on it they said no problem and made a gun really quick that looked like a stick and played it next to the pond of ducks. I will never order a cake from them again. My sister called and explained the disappointment and the lady had an attitude about it and said I paid for the size of the cake not the decoration. it looks like my cake was forgotten about and was made up last minute. everyone I've showed the cake to at the party agreed they would never pay $75 for this cake. When I picked up the cake from the same lady I ordered it from she asked me how old my kid was turning and I told her once again it was for my gender reveal party

I've been using Maple Street Bakery for my daughter's birthday sweets for several years. Not to mention just stopping in for a special sweet treat when I'm in the area. You see I live in MS & visit the Abita Springs/Covington area often. It's worth the drive!

This is the best bakery! Their cakes are always moist and made to order, they make their own real buttercream, and nothing comes from a bucket or frozen. Not only that, they’re affordable and have the best customer service. I’d pick Maple Street Bakery over Zoe’s or Mandeville Bakery hands down, any time.

Came in for some pastries and they were absolutely delicious. The cheese danish was so good. My daughter loved her petit four, and the husband was just as happy with his danish.

Whether visiting Abita Springs via bicycle, car, or by foot along the lovely St. Tammany Trace, the Maple Street Bakery will surely please your appetite. Don't worry about directions...follow your nose as you experience the heavenly aroma of freshly baked pastries, cakes, breads, and muffins. There you will enjoy a fresh cup of Community coffee with your favorite baked goods, a delciously wholesome sandwich or salad served in a quaint country dining room or out on the porch of this historic home. I really like the warm, whole wheat apple muffin; so big you'll want to cut it in half and eat the rest for a snack. I have ordered layer cakes with yummy buttercream frosting for special occasions and the fabulous pecan praline bread for the holidays. Friendly, family owned Maple Street Bakery is one of my favorite places and I highly recommend it while in Abita Springs!

After driving by 2 times a day for almost a year I finally decided to stop in for some breakfast goodies. Walking in and smelling the confectionary delight of this bakery was more than enough to make this a regular stop for me. The pastries were fantastic and the service was great. Even though the selection was slim, wedding cake season, I am glad I had so few choices to help with my poor decision making skills! I am looking forward to trying many many more of their offerings.

Tried to order treats to bring to customers and left voicemails. 24 hours later and still no return phone calls. Would have liked to bring something other than doughnuts to high profile customers. Will try to order some other time.
