Booked a $20 cake tasting. Everything went well, they even offered to make a free cup of coffee for me. Picked out everything I wanted for the wedding but still haven't received a quote by email. It's been a month since my tasting. I guess they don't need the money... I have to find a baker that actually wants business and is timely enough to be trusted to create the cakes (plural) for my wedding. Recommendations appreciated.

We let them do our wedding cakes 5 years ago and we're very happy. Everything was beautiful and delicious. We've gone back for every anniversary since as well as birthday or any other sweets needs. Highly recommend these guys.

I bought some mini cupcakes yesterday, not sure what to expect. A cupcake specialty shop I intended to visit was closed. I am so glad they were because I ended up at Le Amis for the first time! I am SO impressed. These were the best tasting cupcakes I've ever had!!! So fresh, moist, and I love how they do the different fillings under the icing in each one; what a delicious surprise! I am going back again today for more!

Les Amis created two cakes for our wedding this past April and they came out perfectly. Stephanie is so creative, professional, and easy to work with. The wedding and groom's cakes exceeded expectations, and most importantly, they were delicious! Would definitely recommend for your next event!

*Horrible customer service/sketchy. Be prepared to overpay. I wanted some macaroons so I went to this store to browse and ended up purchasing some tonight. The girl at the register was extremely rude when I asked which flavor was which as they were not correctly labeled or in order. Something she realized after giving me a rude response. So I chose 6 macaroons @ $2 a piece and 4 cake balls @ 1.50 a piece. My total should have been $18 before tax, and somehow I was charged $33 for them. So I had to return for a refund and I still was charged $22 for them. Not sure how there was $4 in tax, which is about 20 percent of my purchase. Again horrible and quite sketchy customer service.

Oh my goodness death by cupcake and smiling all the way. They have some tables but are really a working bakery and sandwich shop. I saw lovely catalogues of wedding cakes, but I was on a simpler mission. I got panini for my lunch, and cupcakes as a thsnk you for some great nurses. The bananas foster cupcake is stellar, and the lemon blossom and lavender honey are sublime. Chocolate, of course, is a dark, rich pleasure. I can also recommend the veggie panini which is delicious and wholesome. The shop has a white sign and is tucked into a small strip mall with a sandwich place and a few other shops. Parking is free and there are no steps into the shop so it should be wheelchair friendly. They take cards and cash and have catering as well as their bakery case. Enjoy!

I was not impressed. We had a co-worker bring in a box of the mini cupcakes. Flavors were peaches and cream, cookies and creams, very vanilla, triple chocolate and caramel pecan turtle. I was able to sample all but he triple chocolate. Peaches and Cream was rather bland and not very peachy. It had an after thought of peach cobbler but very feint. Caramel Pecan turtle was very grainy and all I got out of it was chocolate and a little pecan and sugar granules. Very Vanilla was just that very vanilla... Not a compliment it was kinda plane Jane. the custard or pudding was a nice touch but didn't seem to add much to the cake. The Cookies and Cream was so very close. The flavor's were reminiscent of Oreo's. the chocolate in the center was an interesting touch but again i mostly got chocolate out of the cupcake. Maybe think double stuffed? but this was by far my favorite out of the four I had a chance to sample.

Stopped by to check out local bakeries because i love to see the different things ppl offer. I was disappointed that all their items were basically sold out except for a few brownies. I gave in and bought those and it really explained to me why they would be sold out. Great food and great ppl

Ordered my daughter's graduation cake from Les Amis and I was saddened and disappointed . My daughter wanted their dark chocolate salted caramel cake which is supposed to be their signature cake so that's what I ordered .The cake was pretty but when we finally cut it after dinner we realized there was no salted caramel. The center of the cake was this extremely thick frosting that tasted like nothing .There seemed to be few spots of this light brownish drizzle is a few parts of the center. I've ordered from her before and was so excited to get my daughter's great accomplishment cake from there. Never again. The cake itself was ok but the chocolate icing was way too sweet . Just not worth my $66. Never recommending them again .I always praised this bakery in the past . Almost ordered my cousins wedding cake from them .Thank God they had another wedding booked for that day .

Les Amis made a cake and macarons for a baby shower I helped plan, and they were both incredible! Stephanie and I emailed back and forth, and she created my vision for the cake flawlessly. Everything matched the party perfectly and was delicious. Multiple people at the party commented that it was the best cake they had ever had, and I agree! We will be getting many more treats from Les Amis in the future!

One word: CHOCOLATE BACON. Omg the icing is divine. I tried that cupcake and immediatey began humming. I tried the blueberry I think lemon cupcake not sure if that’s the correct name for it. It was a bit dry and the icing a bit too firm. Hopefully it was just a fluke

This bakery has amazing baked goods. My girlfriend and I love to get their fresh macarons whenever we go. The staff is friendly too and will answer any questions you need. They typically aren't packed when I go so they are able to give me service right away. I highly recommend this little bakery for anyone looking to try something different than the bigger names.

I'm new to Baton Rouge and decided to pop in today for a sweet treat and coffee. I had the best iced pecan pie (maybe it was pecan praline) latte I have ever had. I will certainly be getting all my coffee there from now on. Also enjoyed a mini blackout cake filled with chocolate mousse. Absolutely fabulous. Great customer service too. Love this place. They also offer a reward program.

Horrible extremely sweet something exaggerated, I personally love how sweet but this was so exaggeratedly sweet and so expensive that page and the saddest thing was that the taste was a big disappointment and all my guests left the cake because they did not like that bad I do not recommend it at all.

I’m a big fan of cupcakes and macarons and have been looking for a good bakery since moving to BR, almost a year ago. I think this place is one of the best. The macarons were pretty much perfect and they had a large selection of flavors. I tried six cupcake flavors (spread out over a few days, OK...) and loved them all, especially the banana foster and its delicious filling. They were however a little dry, but I assume I just came in too late during the day. I’ll admit I was initially disappointed when I saw they were mini cupcakes, but in hindsight, it’s a good thing (it’s clear from pictures posted here that they are mini size and not regular; I just didn’t really pay attention)! In any case, I’ll be back for sure.

I order my daughter’s graduation cake and custom macaroons. I thought I ordered too much cake, but I was wrong. I can’t personally tell you if it was good, because there was nothing left. No macaroons, no cake. I’ve never ordered a sheet cake and didn’t have plenty left over. There wasn’t even half a slice left on plates. As soon as I put the macaroons on the table, they were gone. I’m giving 5 stars because I HEARD from my guests how delicious it was.

Nice bake shop to try out. Bought a cake and the cake it self was great. I had a chocolate one,but the icing was way too sweet. The cake had great flavor and texture. The only things that stopped it from being amazing is the amount of icing and the sweetness of the icing. Very nice and helpful staff. The lady who helped me over the phone was extremely patient, helpful, and kind. I was confused about everything when i called. They do have good last minute option, but the special things need to be called in a head of time. But overall my experience was good.

I got some cupcakes... They were ok *shrugs* BUT THE PECAN CHEESECAKE !!! It's life changing. I never had one before this but wish I didn't even waste money on the cake batter macaroon cause it was not the business!!
