I spent almost a $100 for a graduation cake for my daughter. The cake was dry, the vanialla part was overcooked on edges and the icing was almost gritty. I was told my cake would be ready in 15 minutes when I arrived to pick it up, almost an hour later it was finally ready. I will never buy another cake here again and do not recommend them. I would have been better off going to walmart or super 1 or anyway else.

It was ok. The food wasn't terrible, but it wasn't great either. The only saving grace was the cheesy grits, the bacon, and the berry mix. The hash browns were disgusting, the eggs chewy, and the sausage was salty. Overall I would've preferred IHOP.

Great customer service and product. I placed an unorthodox order that was executed perfectly. Thank you Jacob and all the ladies who helped me with this cake. I didn't get to taste it but was told it was like "eating a cloud".

Everything here is wonderful. Service is also the best. If you are a pretty owner their dog treats are the best out there. I drive two hours regularly just to get dog treats, if course I always leave with people treats too.

If I could give them a -5 star review I would. I was there this morning with a party of 4. It took them 30 min to put down menus, 45 min to bring us water and coffee. An hour and 15 minutes for food, and with a total of 11 people in the restaurant with 4 servers who sat behind the counter and ignored our needs. I would never recommend this place to my worst enemy. Last thing to note, when we ordered, the waitress had to have it repeated to her 3 times because she was getting confused because her earpiece was in and her coworkers were talking over their communication device. She never though lt until the 3rd time to take it out and pay attention to our order. Worst dining experience ever.

I ordered my son a birthday cake from this place 3 weeks in advance prior to his birthday. I sat down with the guy and I had photos of how I would like it made. I was at work and my sister picked up the cake, It wasn't like I wanted it, they told me they didn't have all the materials. I should have called and checked up on it, I'm like you all should have called me, I came to you 3 weeks in advance. He told my sister he couldn't refund me my money. So I went up there to talk to the manager after I got off work to see if I can get some of my money back. We started talking I told him you all should have called me in advance if you didn't have the materials to make the cake I was asking for. I trusted you with my cake. I told him what kind of business is ran like this that you can't communicate with your customers. I guessed that set him off talking about his bakery he got mad, got red in the face, threaten to call the police on me if I didn't get out his place, he said a few words and so on. The guy that took my order for the cake was looking in shock and he told me he could only give me a 100.00 back i took the money and got the heck out of there before he called his family on the police force. He showed me his true colors I will never order or refer nobody here again. I guess I wasn't white, I gave it one star because at least the guy that took my order for the cake was nice enough to give me something back for the cake they messed up.

Wide variety of baked goods. They have Gelato also. My reason for visit was to try their Deli sandwich line. The Muffalata was good but pricey, however, you get sandwich, pickle wedge, potatoe salad, for 9$.

This is the place my wife and I visit every six months when attending DAV conventions in Louisiana. They have never disappointed. Great food, great service and great baked goods. Don't miss this spot when visiting Alexandria!

Most over rated bakery in Alexandria. The stuff here is not bad don't get me wrong; but this place is not the best and is far overpriced. The staff can also be quite rude at times.

We are just passing through from Oklahoma City to New Orleans. After spending the night in a questionable hotel, we were looking for a good breakfast. We had seen Atwood's while searching for food last night. We got there just after breakfast was over. The staff was wonderful and made recommendations when we asked. The Atwood sandwich was great. The smoked chicken salad on it was beyond wonderful. My shrimp creole was perfect, and the roll that came with it was crusty on the outside and soft inside, perfect to dip in the creole. We got a canoli and the mini fruit tart for there (both delicious!) and the blueberry scone and lemon blueberry muffin for snacks on the road.

HORRIBLE service!! Absolutely rude woman behind the counter who seemed irritated to do her job. Atwoods will lose paying customers because of rude employees. Maybe the owner should pay more attention to the way his employees treat customers instead of chumming up to his buddies.

They obviously don't know what turtle cheesecake is. Bought cheesecake from there, asked for turtle. When we opened it the next day it was some kind of dark chocolate cheesecake. It tasted like it came from wal-mart too. Highly disappointed.

My husband ordered a whipped icing cake while in Alexandria. After he got home we looked at the cake and quickly realized it was all buttercream and VERY DRY. After so many let downs we won’t be going back.
