Pictures posted here do not do the delicious food justice. We stopped on the recommendation of a friend on the way through town. We tried: cinnamon rolls, ham and cheese scone, lemon bar, everything bagel, cheesecake brownie, sorghum cookie, and the corn cookie. Nothing wasn't good and most of it was great - especially the sorghum cookie and scone. The service was warm and the eating area adorable. There is a single batbroom available for customer use.

A great place to eat quick and healthy lunch. Have a lot of choices for desserts. Never tried their bread but on my list next. It a must place to visit if you are close by.

A very good local bakery which serves pies, cookies, scones, quiche, breakfast sandwiches and more. The cookies are particularly delicious, especially the ones you might not normally try such as the sorghum. The price is a little bit on the high end but you can at least be sure you are getting a quality product. I go in every once in a while to grab a bite and a cup of coffee. I occasionally try something new and am rarely ever disappointed.

Lots of delicious goodies, from pie to bagels. They have coffee to drink onsite, but the atmosphere is more retail bakery than cafe, unfortunately. Some comfy chairs and couches would create a nice Starbucks alternative.

We got there right before they were closing today ( Saturday). Actually we got there about 3: 40. They already had all the cookies and scones put in to containers to store over for the night. So I asked what they had left placed my order. And when we got in the vehicle and on the highway, I opened the box and was missing somethings. So by this time it's to late to turn around. I Chalked it up to my loss. I will double check from now on, any place I go. Thanks Midway Bakery. Everything I got was fresh and very good.

Love this place, beautiful drive from Lexington. Old school, literally, cafeteria. The staff is super and the baked goods fresh and tasty. The cookies are so big and soft, we also had lime pie!

This is a little slice of heaven! It's located in one of the most beautiful areas of horse country. I've had the apple pie and scones; and let me tell you they are wonderful!! You're able to watch them prepare the pastries and see the pride that goes into their creations. I will be coming back to try their other menu items. I've found their service to be top notch; very professional and courteous staff. I would recommend this bakery to anyone.

Lady explained all types of food they sell. She told us the story about the bakery, and also told us where the place was located where they grind up the corn, etc., which we also visited. The 7 layer cookie was absolutely delicious. She had other cookies for sale. We bought several different kinds, which were also very delicious. I am anxious to try the pancake mix.

Really cool place, friendly staff. I ordered the country ham and cheddar scone which was delicious! I also had the lemon bars, another great choice if you like sweets. My girlfriend had the veggie quiche and the onion walnut muffin of the day. The muffin was fantastic the onion gave it a lightly sweet flavor. 5/5 will be returning and bringing my family back here for sure. All their plates, cups, and utensils are compostable and recycling friendly which was a BIG plus for me and my girlfriend. Prices seemed very reasonable and on the cheap side in comparison to other small bakeries I've been to so if you want an affordable place to pick up some high quality baked goods I would definitely recommend this place, my girlfriend and I really enjoyed sitting and eating here.

Lovely local bakery filled with history and with many scrumptious treats! The bourbon barrel tea was lovely (made in Danville, ky). Enjoy a visit then walk around the quaint, healthy downtown.

Have gotten their cookies from Woodford in last. Woodford wasn't open, so went to bakery directly. Called ahead and they made the cookies fresh because didn't have enough already made. Awesome people.
