The pastries here are exquisite! I always get the cheese pocket, which is like a cheesecake inside a pastry. The Petit fours are scrumptious too, with raspberry and apricot filling to break the sweetness of the icing. O top of that, the service was top notch. Very cozy and welcoming!

Two Stars. I am out of state and I ordered a cake for a client close by to this shop. I worked with Judy who truly acted like taking my order was an inconvenience for her. She also complained that I wanted it delivered when the client was "only 5 minutes away". I kindly explained it was a gift.. I called the day of to ask the ETA.. I started with "we have a cake order..." when she cut me off and said "glad you enjoyed it" and almost hung up when I was like "nooo, we have an order and I need to know when it will be there so the client knows what to expect". She said they were down the street and literally hung up on me with no other word. The cake was supposed to be there between 9:30 and 10:30 and they were there at 8:50. It was a good thing I called. I had to scramble to get someone there because that was before the office even opened. I also never even got to see what the cake looked like - which I was going to ask for before she hung up on me. All around just terrible customer service. My client said the cake tasted good though, my reasoning for giving 2 stars instead of 1.

When you walk in the smells take over and will trigger some memories. At least mine did of an old fashioned bakery where I grew up and I don't care who you are grown adults and kids alike, you will have your noses pressed against the glass of the pastry case like Ralphie and Schwartz from Christmas Story! I try go in whenever I can especially Tues. Tuesday is pretzel day. They melt in your mouth and pair it with there garlic cheese dip? You'll be hooked. But today I walked out with a coconut cheese coffee cake. My stomach was so happy with the choice and I was happy to have obliged! Though you can't have a great store if you don't have a great staff. The girls are so sweet and the young man was so helpful he carried out my bag, yes I said bag! I'm not going to tell you everything I got, you have to go in for yourself
