I spoke to the owner, asking if she could bake a baby shower cake for my daughter-in-law, who has gestational diabetes. She took the time to tell me about a delicious option. I was not disappointed! It was not sugary sweet like most bakery cakes. Everyone loved the cake and we even had enough to send home with the mother to be. Her staff advised me on how to slice it, so we had plenty for everyone.

My SO and I come here often. Between the two of us all the meals here have been amazing. Better than we expected compared to the cost. He loves the sausage and gravy for breakfast and I love the bake goods. Everything definitely seems homemade and will definitely take friends and family when they visit.

More than cakes was a pleasant surprise in comparison to your average diner. The food is A grade quality and the environment is exceptional. It is so good to see customer service is not dead, and real food actually exist in our world today. The owner Leisha Rainwater- Clarke made delicious speciality cakes for our twin's baptism. She traveled from Georgetown, Kentucky to Lacey, Washington to make sure it was done correctly. Just recently she went to Panama to cater a wedding. You will not find better service anywhere!

The cannoli is incredible. I love the cup cake that is like Reese Peanut Butter Cups. They don't always have these, but they are incredible when they do. Breakfast on Saturday mornings is outstanding - tasty biscuits and gravy.

I ordered and paid for a cake almost two months ahead of time. I told them I would pick it up at 10am on the day of the party, scheduled for 2. I dropped off the figurines the day before and the owner told me it would be best to pick the cake up at one. I was on my way to pick it up on the day of the party when one of her employees called and said it wouldn’t be ready until 1:30. At 1:35 I was still waiting on my cake. When she finally brought it out, I didn’t even get so much as an apology. Also, the cake was extremely dry! Will not be coming back here.

just randomly wandered by with my 4 year old and decided to stop in for a cupcake. this place is amazing!! you would have no idea from just looking at the storefront but it's really big. the people are so friendly, warm, and welcoming that you feel right at home. the balcony was perfect for this early fall weather and the coffee was spot on. this is a great local landmark that will be here for years to come.

Great place and great stuff. They have vegan choices and offer more vegan choices on their vegan Wednesdays. Their staple is tofu scramble with home fries. Home made vegan bread. Great vegan soups and they offer vegan deserts as well as iced coffee with vegan whip cream. Yum!

I stopped in, last minute, with a specific cake request; 'More than Cake' went above and beyond to fulfill it. They provided everything for which I asked, and even offered a few small extras to complete our celebration. The cake was delicious, and the staff was delightful. We look forward to trying breakfast, lunch, and dinner, as well!

Club sandwich is excellent! Put together to not fall apart and was appreciated. It's very large and can feed two easily. Iced tea was a rich, full flavored and wonderful. The Paris Brest (dessert) is the finest brest I have ever had! Seating is comfortable and sufficient. Decor is bright and cheerful. Parking on the street isn't great but there is more in back. Worth the drive from Lexington.

Loved stopping in to have lunch and grab goodies to take home to the family. The owner and her staff are all so personable and greet you as soon as you come in the door. They are happy to answer any questions you have and accommodate your personalized order for baked goods. Came in on Thursday for their Chicken and Dumplings, which are amazing. You can tell they take pride in the quality and quantity of their food as well as the presentation. They make amazing hand made breads as well - make sure to take home a loaf of the Salt Rise if it's available. Took home cupcakes to the family. They asked when we were going back for more. The chocolate cake with peanut butter frosting was amazing.

On Wednesday I ordered some cupcakes for my daughters birthday. The lady taking my order was really nice however whoever was in the background that she was having to ask questions to sounded a bit rude. I ordered 12 cupcakes blue icing with gray shark fins....sounded simple. After placing the order my total was 35.88. I thought it was a little over priced for such simple cupcakes but I continued with my order anyway. I picked them up on Saturday morning and they looked absolutely nothing like I pictured they would. The icing was smeared all inside the box and they looked like a kid had put the icing on them. I could only hope that they would taste better than they looked. Well they didn’t, they were dry and tasted old. I have never in my life given a bad review but after sharing the photo with several people they advised I should share my experience. The staff at shop was friendly this morning but other than that I wasn’t pleased at all.

I ordered a macaroon today and it was one of the BEST things I ever tasted! It was blue and pink swirled together. It had an amazing crunch , and the icing on the middle was phenomenal. I would recommend this bakery to anyone.

Does not belong under the category of "cheap" at all. VERY overpriced for very mediocre food. Especially the bakes; should be ashamed selling such small weak tasting things at such high prices. No idea how they have stayed open for over a year. Never going back here.

On Friday night my family and I ate at this restaurant. The service was good. The food was even better. I liked the way the restaurant looked on the inside, very warm and welcoming. If you have not gone you should. I like going to local restaurants that make quality food. I have been growing tired of fast food snuffing out local businesses and this was a real treat. I will be coming back.

My friend and I went for lunch. It's a nice atmosphere inside or out on the patio. She had a hot sandwich with chips and I had the special which was a BLT and potato soup which came with chips, too. It was all yummy and reasonable for a sit down restaurant for lunch. I'm keeping in mind the patio for future events:))

My wife picked us up some lunch from "More than Cake LLC" and if I had to give one word to describe our experience it would have to be disappointment. My wife picked up 2 sandwiches, 2 bags of chips that aren't made in house, and 2 cupcakes for a total cost of better than $20. On the plus side, the orange dreamcicle cupcakes are some of the best cupcakes I've ever had. The chips were fine too, on par with every other bagged chip joint you'll find, think Panera or Subway. The sandwiches, however, leave a lot to be desired. The buns are supposedly made in house but tasted no different than a microwave heated roll that comes out of the kroger bread aisle. The meat, while tasty, was so sparsely applied to the sandwich that it was hard to tell if I had meat in every bite or not (think one to maybe 2 thin slices of deli meat for an entire sandwich). And to top it all off, they forgot to put all the toppings that we asked and paid for on my wife's sandwich (both sandwiches were supposed to be identical). In my opinion this establishment would be much better served just calling themselves "Cake LLC", as far as the "and more" portion, not so much. If you wanna fantastic cupcake, give this place a shot, they're probably hard to beat but if your thinking about trying a sandwich do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.
