I’m giving the bakery stars not because the donuts are bad because they are fantastic.. but because the lady that runs it speaks horribly to her employees.. I was in there yesterday morning and she kept yelling at this little boy behind the counter about a cash register this is not the first time she has done this either. It’s extremely Unprofessional. I’m hoping to that she will see this review and change her nasty attitude! If the wrong person would have heard that they would have left.

The cookies are with out a DOUBT the best commercially made cookies you will find! I SO wish I would have purchased more! I let the 5 star rating stand even though the Carrot cupcake I bought was dry. The buttercream frosting was Grand but it couldn't fix the actual cupcake. We purchased additional mini cupcakes in strawberry and chocolate and they were Marvelous! I recommend you try this bakery and prove me wrong on the Carrot cupcakes!!! The employees my wife and I interacted with all seemed to LOVE their jobs! They all smiled and we're super patient with us, we we're first timers in there, and we WILL go back!!!

Tried a famous Yum-Yum on a recent visit, but nobody in our party was a fan. It is a very tasty twisted donut, but the filling was just too much sugar and cinnamon. Your taste may differ. The other items we tried: glazed donuts, rolls, were really fresh and had great flavor. Worth a visit. Try a yum-yum by all means, but try some other things in case the yum-yum doesn't charm you.

Best place to get donuts. Plan to find out who is last when you walk in. You are after them. The next person who comes in is after you. We all learned this in kindergarten. Don't get in a rush. Smell the donuts and enjoy the small town ambiance. I love going to Hadorns. The yum yums are the best.

Recommended by our AirBnB host. Showed up at 7am as suggested and found a line of locals already waiting just as predicted. Great fresh donuts and muffins and very friendly people - both employees and buyers! The only thing missing for me was an old- fashioned cake donut option.

Hadorn's is the perfect iconic small town bakery. You can find everything from the regular glazed to the more decadent yumyum and of course the maple glazed cinnamon roll. The friendly helpful staff will gladly box as many donuts as you wish. This is not just a donut shop either, but a full fledged bakery. Hadorn's also serves seasonal cookies, coffee and fresh baked bread. My advice is to get there early! These guys sell out quickly on most days!

Love Hadorns, An Old Time bakery, Their donuts are delicious. Expect them to be busy. The locals and most visitors know about this place. Their prices are very reasonable. No inside seating, but a couple of tables outside when the weather permits.

Creme filled donuts were very good, especially if you like a lot of creme. The yum yum's were very rich and great flavors of cinnamon, caramel, and chocolate. It was a little place and people were pouring out the doors so you know it's good. Everything is sold individually.

I just spoke with Mr. Hadorn and He was most accommodating. I remembered the brownies that were sold at the Louisville store from when I was a teen. It was a sad day when the store closed on Dixie and Vorster. I will continue to be a customer of Hadorns even though I have to drive from Louisville to Bardstown. Their baked goods have always been stellar. The old formula brownies are the stuff of legend. I can't wait to sink my teeth into that thick layer of whipped chocolate icing and slice thought the rich soft layer of brownie. You have to try it just once. Love it or not, you won't regret trying it.

Hadorn's is terrific! The only drawback is that there is little standing room in the shop. With the popularity of Hadorn's you will be standing a few minutes waiting to be served. Cakes made to order or walk in and grab cookies or donuts.
