Shocked to see so many good reviews. My experience was far from it. Visited during opening hours, but the door was locked. Man came to the door finally and let us in. We ordered one cronut. It took a very long time. The back area/kitchen was disgusting. There was lots of stuff everywhere. Looked like an episode of Hoarders.

Came by a few hours after opening. Sign out front said open (3 different signs). After looking around building a man told me they were under staffed and had to close for an order. From observations inside looked dirty. Obviously poorly managed. The good reviews will get me to visit again; but this time was a big disappointment.

I called for a custom made graduation cake at what most bakers would consider last minute and not only did they deliver a cake more beautiful than I thought I could get in 3 days time, it tasted WONDERFUL! It was literally melt in your mouth gooooood! Everything was explained thoroughly in regards to what could and couldn't be done and the price was very affordable. I will definitely be back for every special occasion! Trust me. You WANT this place to make your cake! It's easy peasy.

Kronutz are second to none. They have some really neat holiday specials coming up! Get there earlier bc they do run out of the good stuff! My favorite is the raspberry, the kids love the fruity pebbles and my husband is partial to the bacon maple ♥️

We have been ordering birthday cakes from Wally's since I was a kid. The owner is a friendly pastry expert and his cakes are always amazing. Definitely worth a try if you have never had it before. It's an unassuming little place, but don't let that steer you away. I really enjoy the flavor of the cake but the smooth and delectable buttercream frosting always keeps me coming back for more. Also, try the "Krownutz"! They are fun and delicious.

THIS PLACE IS AMAZING!!! We recently just had a patient bring us little cakes from from here, and OH...MY...GOODNESS... I couldn't stop eating them!! They were freaking phenomenal. BEST CAKES IN TOWN!!!! The frosting.... the cake.... the flavoring....LOVE! (excuse me while I leave this convo to go get more cakes)

Amateur hour or semi-pro at best. Disappointing. Cronuts, pastries, bread pudding were totally no bueno. Nightmare to park. Store was tiny, cluttered and not very clean Website (FB) states 8 am open on Saturday but thankfully Google had the correct hours (10 am).

Absolutely the BEST cupcakes I have ever had!!! I live in Las Vegas...which has some of the most amazing food but I have not yet found a bakery that even comes close to comparing to Wally's. I have friends here in KC so every time I visit I have to make a trip to Wally's.
