We are regulars at the pie shoppe when we are in town from Los Angeles. when I was pregnant it was a staple in my diet...The pies are unreal and Ashleigh is at the top of her game. Kansas City has a gem!!!! Go!!!!

This is a outstanding place plus great pies, quiche, there is kitchen heaven all the Fiesta Wear you want. Glasses, kitchen gadgets you would ever want 2 stores. I thought I died and went to heaven. I'm going back soon. Bought a German chocolate pie. Please go and see this wonderful store soon.

Ashleigh makes great pies! She recommended a raspberry rhubarb that was nicely balanced. The crust was superb. I really enjoyed the fruit without being overcome by an excess of sugar. Ashleigh not only accommodated a special request for a small order, she was amazing in helping me to pick out a pie stand that was part of Pryde's store inventory. I'll be back!

Ashleigh has perfected her pie recipes, every pie is exactly how you anticipate that flavor should taste. Somehow they are not too sweet and nothing artifically flavored is detected. Every thing is fresh, served with a smile and genuine customer service. Her pies are styled with a delicious buttery flaky lattice crust, double crust or yummy whip cream topping. I recommend my faves the Peach pie & Banana Cream. I also recommend call in orders the day before just to make sure they have what you want (better value on a whole pie vs a slice).

This place is a gem. Maybe I just get lucky but I've walked in twice, asked what was good and left with a pie that was still hot from the oven. Best apple pie I've ever had (sorry grandma!). I'll keep going back.

Ashleigh’s pies are scrumptious! We have tried peach, German chocolate and banana cream. All delicious and baked with love :) Highly recommend you stop by and try a pie. Chocolate chip cookies are probably the best I’ve ever had. Friendly and helpful service.

Ok, at first I’ll admit I was a little leary walking in because it’s a bakery inside an antique store that has an awful old smell to it. Anywho, I ordered a Pecan square. The lady that completed my transaction was really nice, she had small talk and was just welcoming! The best Pecan pie I’ve ever had, the crust is so flaky!! I will be buying more to take to work, and referring everyone!!

The pies and quiche at Ashliegh’s are the best I’ve had outside my mother’s kitchen. The crust is light, flakey, buttery and almost melts in your mouth. I often find pies to be overly sweet, but Ashleigh gets it right. The quiches are perfect. Buy a whole one!

Dear lord this pie is good. We got the peach (which we paired with bourbon whipped cream) and the chocolate cream. The crusts are crisp and tender and bordering on puff pastry they are so flaky. The peaches were spiced perfectly. The chocolate was rich. Better than store bought OR homemade.

I had heard great things so my wife and I drove over from OP to grab a slice of pie. It was barely 1pm and there was hardly anything in the case and there was no pricing or menu boards posted. We ended up leaving without making a purchase. Hopefully it was just an off day. We will probably give then another try sometime since we had heard good things. I will give them at least 3 stars for now just for Ashleigh's excellent customer service. Hopefully their pie is as good next time.

Unbelievable! I don’t know weather the treats are better or the staff! This place is a fun hidden gem. The staff was so helpful. I called in and ordered a pie for my wife’s birthday and they put one aside for me. It truly was the best Key lime pie I have had since I left Florida! You can’t go wrong with anything in this place thank you so much!

Super good pie and cookies. They give you a huge piece for a reasonable amount. It's sad it's only open Thursday through Saturday. This is leftovers of the pecan bar I got.

Outstanding! Called last minute when I realized I forgot to order a key lime pie for my mom's birthday - a tradition. Ashleigh held back a whole pie, 100% saving the day and mom's birthday. To the important part, the pie was OUT OF THIS WORLD AMAZING! Popping with flavor and the crust was to die for. Needless to say the pie didn't last long. Will be back for more holidays and treat-yo-self occasions.

We love Ashleigh's Bake Shop!! Every flavor is an experience. It's the kind of pie that makes you say "wow" after every bite! I wasn't much of a pie person before Ashleigh's, but now we're having her pies at our wedding! They also have delicious quiche for a tasty breakfast or lunch. Ashleigh is the sweetest and has outstanding customer service.

This bakeshop is a jewel. I don't know of anyone who puts more care into what they do than Ashleigh. I rely on her products for anytime I want something special, and especially for Thanksgiving when her pies transform dessert into something no one wants to miss. I also love her chicken pot pies. I buy them frozen; lunch then becomes something very special - cheaper and better than eating out. My wife and I also enjoy the quiches - we hosted a family from Brazil for a week and the quiches were a huge hit. I can't recommend this place highly enough.

I got one of Ashleigh's peach pies at the Lee's Summit Farmer's Market today. AMAZING!! The crust is really the key to a good pie. If you find yourself eating every bit of the crust... that's the pie!! We'll be back!!!!
