Laura is amazing! She did all the wedding cakes for my daughters wedding, my sons engagement party and now my sons wedding. She has such a talent with her baking! Anyone one can walk into a grocery store and pick up a Mediocre cake however if you want the best you go to Bittersweet!

Website says open till 7. Sign in door says 6. We went there at 5:30 on a Wednesday and it was closed. No answer on the phone although a purse was on the counter. No answering machine. Cool.

We have been here a few times now, and had a great experience each time. What makes this a fantastic place for us is the staff. They are friendly and attentive without being invasive. The food is awesome, although we have not tried everything yet we have heard great things. All in all, one of the best lunches on the strip.

It is rare when you get a quality product, friendly and approachable owner, and a great location. If you want the best homemade baked from scratch pecan bars, cinnamon rolls, strawberry cake, or any other bakery item you can imagine this is your place. Had a yearn for a custom rum cake a few months ago and she nailed it. Come to Historical Irvington and try this gem of a local business!

We've visited several times and have enjoyed everything we've ordered. Delicious food and desserts and great service. I might be addicted to the chop salad. I only wish they had a few kids meal items. Edit: they recently added a kid's menu!

It's a really charming place! The service was quick and gracoius, and everyone's food was great! I got the spinach egg sandwich. The sour dough bread was a bit texas-toasty, and the filling was a good balance with layers of egg, spinach, and cheese. My friend got the chile relleno tart, which was really good! If you've had chiles rellenos before, it had the same classic flavor and cheese, but it's in a quiche-like form with a cornmeal crust. I also got a gingerale, which was a bottled cane-sugar gingerale that was pleasant. For a pricing frame, I think all the entres were $8, the gingerale was $2, and we shared a $5 slice of strawberry cake. The cakes are 3 layers, so sharing 1 piece between the three of us was perfect.
