Nice environment and good drinks. Pastries are hit or miss for me - some are excellent (e.g., macaroons) while others I really do not care for. Specifically, a cinnamon roll topped with cheese was a little unusual in flavor, and a crescent shaped ham roll had thin but very tough pastry. It may be more a matter of taste than quality that I have found some of the Venezuelan pastries not to my liking. I'm sure to be back, but will be more careful when choosing pastries.

Awesome coffee! Bummer that when I went we couldn't get the famous milkshakes that they offer but it wasn't a big deal, workers were very friendly! The cheesecake tart was awesome and the vanilla latte was top notch! Giving it 4 stars for not having the milkshake available but I understand it's not their fault!

No love to share on this one. Brought an elderly friend for lunch & dessert. Simple: coffee, grilled cheese, chocolate layer cake. Handed coffee when I paid. 15 minutes later coffee had grown cold, cake arrives at table. 10 minutes later the grilled cheese arrives. 1st: NEVER serve dessert ahead of the main course -- especially when it's absolutely unnecessary; as with cake that's already baked, sitting on a platter! 2nd: The cake was lousy. Smelled odd and tasted slightly of coconut. 3rd: The grilled cheese sandwich tasted disgusting. Possibly due to having tried the lousy cake first, but doubt it. Won't be back. Advice to Klein's. The quality of food & beverage is one thing. Food service is another. Study food service and work-out the kinks.

Oh. My. Goodness. Such a great locally owned gem! Fantastic tea selection (Rishi!) and so many delicious pastries to choose from. Many are of a Venezuelan variety: guava and cheese, ham and their own version of a cinnamon roll that is not too sweet and spiced uniquely. Love! Also, I came here with a sort of last minute order for a bunch of pastries for my office. They took my order and had everything waiting for me the next day. The savory pastries were even still warm!

Cakes may be good but service is pathetic. Three people working and one couple ordered ahead of me. Took 5 minutes to even be acknowledged. I then said I’d like to order a cake for July 20th (I called yesterday and was told they do not take orders via the phone and to come in Saturday. Instead of being excited to have a customer she (assuming the owner) made it seem like an inconvenience and let me know that she doesn’t take orders on Saturday but would make an exception. And she said it in a very rude tone. While a product may be good, you don’t get to treat people this way. Go to a bakery that cares.

Fantastic little bakery/cafe in Buena Park. The coffee is solid and the breakfast sandwiches are delicious. The other breakfast offerings in the neighborhood have always disappointed me. It felt like it was always a choice between a bagel with cream cheese or a sandwich with a super-processed patty. Klein's to the rescue! I highly recommend the croissant with ham, egg, and cheese. If you have a sweet tooth, they also have a wide selection of pastries and sweets

This is a great local cafe and bakery with a friendly staff. Max is a hilarious guy if you run into him behind the counter. My wife and I love going here to read, do work, or just chill. We usually get cappuccinos or tea with a variety of pastries. Everything has been tasty.

I love this place, clean and inviting. Never jam packed. Lattes are PERFECT. The desert is SO GOOD. Key lime pie tart and the chocolate cup thing (omg I cant remember right now) are AMAZING. I love this place! The atmosphere is very pleasant, scrumptious treats in a multitude of flavors, and very friendly staff! I recently ordered a cake from here for my birthday (EU themed since I will be a new intern there in about a month) and it was perfect! Double chocolate inside was to die for! It was not dry and it had the perfect amount of cream. The only thing that I would have changed about it would be the color of the fondant. It needed to be a little bit more royal blue for it to be an accurate match, but other than that it was spectacular! Highly recommend for any cake needs!

Was excited to try this new neighborhood spot. This is my last visit tho....I'll stick with the "other" place 2 blocks down. Coffee au lair tasted like water and was totally lukewarm. Grilled cheese sandwich was buttered toasted bread with cold unmelted slices of American cheese and cold slices of ham. All barely warm too. The the flip side, the blueberry muffin and latte were good.

Giving the hipster cafe two blocks over a run for their money ;) this place is going to be my new study spot, hands down. I especially love that it's clean and not decorated in raggedy furniture. They also make all their pastries in house. Had the mini key lime tart, it was great!

Atmosphere inviting, staff friendly and the place is clean and spacious. Ordered order the spinach mushroom cream cheese sandwich in a puff pastry. Unfortunately it didn't taste all that great. I've never had a sandwich with melted cream cheese, it's not the way cream cheese is usually served. It looked appetizing but that was about it, it just didn't taste right. I'll probably go there again but just for coffee no food.

This is a chill cafe/bakery, with spot on cafe drinks without being over wrought in trendy cafe culture (which I do enjoy but is unnecessary) the cortado is perfect the espresso stands alone which is the perfect standard for a good cafe at least for me. But where Klein's shines And I do mean shines Is in it's Pan de Jamon (am I tearing up?) This perfect Venezuelan pastry rules my heart and Klein's gets it right, like eyes rolling in the back of my head come now Lord Jesus right. So if you want a friendly cafe with good espresso drinks this is the place, if you want to treat yo self get the Pan de Jamon.

Fantastic bakery with a charming and helpful staff and truly quality baked goods. I've sampled a few of their things now, including caramel cheesecake, Nutella tart, and Opera bar, but of the three times I've gone I've gotten the Tres Leches for myself. It was my first time having one and I was totally blown away. The seating area is also very pleasant and the prices are not unreasonable. It's been a few years since I've lived within walking distance of a good bakery and I'm super pumped that Klein's is right around the corner.
