This bakery is a hidden jewel. Tried the Irish cream delectable and carrot cake cupcake. I will be driving the 50 miles to purchase more pastries from First Stop. I have to say this shop reminds me of La Bonne Bouchée or McArthurs but priced for the working class. The variety and quality of pastries sold are first class.

Love First Stop!! Their sub sandwiches are THE BEST! you can't go wrong with freshly made bread, legit turkey, bacon, and homemade aoli! My husband and I love that we can run right up the road and get such tasty sandwiches and yummy treats! The owners are so sweet, which tops it all off perfectly! You should definitely give this little shop a try!

This is a small "Mom and Pop" operation so what is available will vary. The do NOT have everything all the time, but EVERYTHING they make would compete with pretentious bakeries in LA, NY or Saint Louis. I've been coming here regularly for the last year and it is obvious he loves making great food and just makes extra for whoever comes in. This place is an absolute gem!

This is as good a bakery as I've found. It's small, for now. Open just 2yrs, it is owned and operated by a friendly couple who remember your name! Mike went to the Culinary Institute of America and worked for some high ritzy places before he decided to live his dream of having his own business. Mary does the orders. My husband and I are addicted. Besides the best pastries and breads, they offer quiches, biscuits and gravy, and delicious sandwiches and pizza for lunch. Unpretentious building doesn't do justice to the quality of products or service. They will ship to my grandchildren in Tulsa.
