I recently ate at Corner Bakery Cafe three consecutive days while vacationing in downtown Phoenix. I ordered the Anaheim Scrambler for around $8 and it got better every day! I appreciated that I could switch out the bacon for chicken sausage. The service at Corner Bakery is fast and the staff is super helpful. You can order, pay, and receive your delicious food in less than ten minutes. If you stay at the Sheraton Grand Phoenix or anywhere near downtown, you need to stop in here.

Ate a late lunch there and loved every single bite. Had the commuter croissant (egg,bacon, tomato) with fresh fruit on side. Friend had Pick 2 with chicken pasta carbonara and 1/2 uptown turkey avocado sandwich. We topped it off with an absolutely scrumptious cookie from their bakery. Wish they had a place near our house.

This is a great lunch time spot. Sits right next to the Blue Line entrance. The space is clean and cozy. The menu is near the bottom in cost for lunch in the area. This is a sandwich and soup shop. Plan on spending $10-$15 for lunch.

Went once recently and wont be going back. Terrible service. The tables were mostly empty and mostly in dire need of cleaning. We had to bus a table ourselves for somewhere to sit. Food was kinda gross and bland. I ate the spinach from my salad. That's it. On a lighter note the iced coffee was pretty good so there's that?

This location is always wonderful (not so much at the 119th & Nall). I typically eat here no less than 3 times a month, and its a fave place to take my daughter. It's always fresh, fast and delicious food. The manager, Ben H., is always super attentive to what's going on & is super nice... the food has never had a major error and the menu changes just enough each season to offer new choices. I highly recommend this location.

Horrible Service!!!! This evening, I placed an order to-go and they told me they would bring it to me. I was sitting next to register and kept looking at them, they had me waiting over 20min, while the order was sitting in a shelf. When I asked they realize the order was ready. The only thing the manager could say was if I wanted for them to make me a new order again, I had already waited over half an hour and was very late! Will never come back here again. As expected, when I got to my destination the bread was soggy, the pasta was cold and I made the mistake or ordering the new spinach warm salad so the leaves were wilted. My destination was only 5 min away so I know the issue was the food sitting on the shelf for half an hour in a close container.

This is definitely a new location because they do not know what they are doing. I placed an order on line @11:15 and called to confirm receipt of that order at 11:25. I showed up and paid for the order @ 11:46 and still did not have my salad at 12:00. The manager said to me that , well your online order gave you a time of noon sooo. I said , well , I am in here paying at 11:46, and as of 11:55 you still haven't made my salad. Its not that hard to throw together a salad. Finally got the order around noon but the manager had to make it since they hadn't even started on it. They left OFF the chicken on the chopped salad. TERRIBLE!!!!!!!!! Not worth the money or frustration.

VERY disappointed. I had a coupon and thought I would try it... Even with a $5.99 entree coupon I am sorry disappointed. Macaroni and cheese was microwaved to hell and bland. My turkey avocado sandwich was not only very poorly put together including almost no avocado, and was smashed and had bacon burnt in a microwave on it. Thank God I asked to sample the broccoli cheese soup before ordering because it was horrible, but the potato soup was not as horrible... The equivalent of a can of potato soup. I wouldn't recommend this place.

Staff is unfriendly, appearance is not well kept, they wear rags on their heads, braids down to their buttocks and never smile. I visited this establishment Sunday morning around 10:30AM, there were maybe 10 people in the restaurant, the Cafe Europa coffee dispenser was completely empty, when I informed staff the asked me how coffee did I want..really, I just looked and did not respond. I ordered the meals to go, there were 8 people working and guess WHAT...when I got home, I discovered the order was incomplete.I know good help is hard to find, but a trained "monkey" could do a better job!!

There was no soup when I came here they don’t make fresh soup and by night time soups are bad . The subs where okay they give you options of how you want your sub but employees don’t even know what is on the board to even make the sub . They are also so expensive I would definitely not return especially the quality and quantity of the sub was completely lacking .

This Corner Bakery is the best quality CB I have ever been to. Manager, Brad and Teresa are amazing. They and their staff are extremely professional and welcoming. Whenever we do catering with them, they are always so fast and reliable. Once, when a different CB missed delivering key items of a catering order, they stepped in to save the day at a moment's notice. Don't miss out on such a great location!

They had the last laugh. I order a BLT from their menu with avocado. When I received the sandwich I was pretty miffed that there were 2 sad pieces of bacon on my B L T. I asked for more bacon and the server came back with what looked like could be a whole slaughtered pig on my sandwich. It was delicious and I certainly got my extra bacon and a good laugh.

Was so excited to finally hit this place and things just started off on the wrong foot. there's no signage or anything to indicate where to go to order, and when i figured it out, decided to get the BBLT & Egg with no mayo. when the sandwich came out, there was mayo so i tried to stop the insanely rude food delivery person who said "is there something else?".. i told them about the mayo, handed it back, waited. mgr brought me new sandwich (and 2 cookies for my wait) and i ate half before i realized it still isnt the right sandwich -- there's no egg! looked at the receipt & the person taking my order messed it up from the start! calamity of errors.

Even tho I didn't dine in I had a great time at this location. My cashier was Sade, I came in wanting to try something new because I always get the chicken pesto. Food wasn't very flavorful, the man who took our order, who was also a manager, wasn't paying attention while we were giving our order. He also clearly didn't want to be there, and didn't want to be talking to us at all. We're not a sensitive bunch, we've worked in retail; we know how it goes. There's a distinctive difference in composition and attitude. Could have been an off day, but overall it was a bad experience. Won't come back either way.

Not clean. I saw a waitress carrying a tray and a poached egg fell off a plate onto the carpet in front of the front door. She knew it happened, and never picked it up. I saw people coming in the front door walking all over it and tracked it through the restaurant. I've been to this restaurant three times and the floor is always dirty. The tables always seem to be dirty as well. You should not have to clean it yourself. It's a restaurant! Train your staff to keep things clean and tidy!

I have eaten here a few times recently and it was great, my only complaint was the 30 minute wait time for our food. We ordered at 12:19 and wasn't served until 12:52 and it wasn't until new guests sat down beside us and were served that we brought it up. It seems they forgot about us, but never made mention of it.. Great food and great price, just be sure you aren't on too much of a time crunch, or you could order ahead.

Cashier Kathleen C did not want to do anything with us. Waited 25 mins for a sandwich and scrambled eggs which is not even hot when they came out. Also missing the edamame side dish that is part of my order. Place is sticky and dirty so I have to see the place dirty for more than half hour. I'm not going to waste my time to give this place a chance. My first time in this place and they ruin it.

I ordered to go right before close and when i got home to find a hair in my food i called. The lady i spoke to was very apologetic and left my name to come in and get a replacement anytime. I went back the next week and the manager on duty got me a free sandwich inspecting it before he handed it to me only to say there was no hair in it yet. Yet? As if I had placed the hair in the first. I dont need a free meal bad enough to lie about a hair and dont appreciate his insinuations. I wont go back again! Two stars for the first team who handled it correctly. Too bad the 2nd guy couldnt carry through!

This has to be one of the worst Corner Bakery locations I've ever had the displeasure of visiting. I have had issues with my orders being cold and wrong a number of times. Today around 5 p.m. I ordered the Anaheim panini. That panini comes with green peppers tomatoes, avocado eggs, cheddar cheese, and smoked bacon or chicken sausage. What I received was a panini with cheddar cheese, eggs, and chicken sausage. When I took the order back to the restaurant and told them that there were no vegetables on my Anaheim they took the sandwich into the back added about two tomatoes a few slices of avocado and some green peppers that are barely recognizable on the same Panini. So by the time I ate the sandwich it was cold and it was on the same reused egg and cheese panini. I think it's egregious that someone thought it was okay to blatantly not follow the menu and create a sandwich that doesn't even follow the recipe. Not to mention, again, my food was cold once I received the same reused sandwich. I'll never visit this place again. This is the worst corner bakery I've ever been to. Also where is the manager at this place?

But I have to also say they are slow they left my husband and I waiting on our carryout order for 30 mins today but when I called it in they said it would only be 10 mins I was on time but they were not. This made my husband late getting back to work we were going to have lunch together today but they ruined that. The crazy thing was they didn't even have to make us wait because our food was sitting on the counter the whole time getting cold and nobody even bothered to call our order name was very close to asking for our money back. If you want good service here definitely go when it's slow they can't handle the crowds well. Perhaps I was not clearly because the owner thought I left a good review. Your confused the customer service here sucks.

Corner Street Bakery is wonderful. The quality of the sandwiches is worth the price and the bite size desserts are great. We typically use Corner Bakery for lunch catering orders and they always go above and beyond. They are also very friendly. However, sometimes they can be a little later than expected with delivery. A friend and I stopped here for the first time after seeing it online. It was a little after 11am, only 3 other customers so a short wait. Nice menu explained each item plus a large menu board sign over the counter. All the baked goods/desserts are in a case in front of you; can't miss them! The staff were all very friendly, presentable & attentive. And an important plus . . .we didn't have to stand & wait to carry trays! They also cleared everything off. By the time we stood to leave, it was very busy! Lots of people, some to p/u online orders, too. The food was great (you have to order the Mac & 3 Cheese). I'll be back soon!

I visit about 4 times a week and at least three of those four times something is missing from my order, i simply go to the counter, let them know and they fix it. I understand there are other obligations lile catering orders which could lead to such mistakes. Staff is great though, i have never had a "bad" experience, and i have not had to wait very long for my order either. UPDATE: Since making this original review my experiences have been 5 stars, not a single order wrong. I still love the staff here as well.

The manager and staff was really helpful and nice when my boyfriend and I's order was made wrong. They accidently gave us the wrong sandwich. They were really nice about it. The manager ordered us a new sandwich that was the correct one, and instead of giving us a half like we ordered, he gave us a full sandwich. He also threw in a pastry and an extra bag of chips just for our troubles (even though there were really no troubles at all). Even the staff was very helpful and asked us if everything was okay throughout our meal. Would definitely recommend. The food was amazing!

Changes every visit. Bacon: TERRIBLE if you like your bacon crispy don't bother. They NEVER get it right. Since they pre-cook it, comes out cold and rubbery regardless of any request... yuk. Eggs: if you likem scrambled this place is for you. Wish they would jazzem you a bit. Coffee: always fresh and hot. However if you prefer a light non-flavored coffee this isn't for you. Good place however for a $12 breakfast with coffee they need to do better and more consistently. With some minor tweaks this place could potentially be a four plus star consistently... But do they want too? This review applies to both restaurants in Johnson County Kansas
