Most delicious desserts and sweetest owner I met. Tyhe use organic ingredients when available and NON GMO! Fresh simple ingredients and the best coffee I've had. Definitely have to check it out, you won't be disappointed.

I've been going to Ambrosia for many years. Unfortunately quality can be inconsistent. I recently purchased multiple pastry items and they were so overcooked that you could drive a nail with the coconut macaroons. You would expect a crispy outside and moist inside. These were hard as a rock and dry on the inside. Same thing with the almond croissant. It was so overcooked that the almond filling fizzled to nothing. Very disappointing.

Will lie to you and tell you on the phone they have something when they know they don’t. They do this to get you in the door so you’ll buy something. Do not trust them if you call them. Very poor customer service. Would not recommend you spend your money here

If you are ordering a cake, there can be communication issues. If you have a cake design in mind, the bakery can't make all designs. Just confirm if they can do it, multiple times. This happened to us. The bakery didn't communicate with us. We sent them a photo of what we wanted. They said they could do it. We showed up and they made a cake that looked like nothing we ordered. This may happen to you also. The owner won't talk to you either. Just an FYI. We won't be back unfortunately.

Sorry to hear that on 12/17/17 the bakery will no longer accept orders for cakes they offer, to be made for Christmas, but WILL let you come in and pick from the cakes the bakery CHOOSES to create for the holidays. Such a shame. Great food, but clearly lacking in wishing for repeat customers to continue ordering from them. You would think 2 cakes ordered would be preferred to randomly creating a number of cakes and hoping people come in to purchase them?!

Staff are very friendly and helpful. The cakes are great! I bought 3 layer tower cake for my friend's baby shower and it tasted so good and everyone loved it. A little bit expensive compared to other places, but well worth it. Their pastries are good too. I don't go too often, but I go there every once in a while and buy cakes occasionally for special occasions. Highly recommended.

We've ordered a number of cakes from Ambrosia for special occasions over the years and they are always exceptional. The flavors and textures are divine. You will not find any cakes like these anywhere else. You will pay a bit more for a cake from here, but it is 100% worth every extra penny spent.

I have loved Ambrosia since I moved to Cary. They have a wonderful selection of sweet and savory pastries. Something to please everyone. My son's high school graduation cake was from here. I got many compliments on that cake. Great place to relax with a pastry and a cup of coffee while you read a book too.

Came in this morning to check it out. It smelled great just walking in and the cakes in the main display looked fantastic. I picked up a spinach and cheese croissant and ambrosia rolls for my daughter. I got to have a bite of the roll and got to have the croissant all to myself. Delicious! I'll be back again for more treats.

My pastries were average at best. You're going to be paying $4-6$ for average croissants. I purchased a ham & cheese & almond crossaint. I'm a lil biased because I work in Chicago. (Superb bakeries)However, the service was great.... but food was mediocre & overpriced. I'm a huge foodie & was disappointed to say the least. Buyer beware.
