My son and I stopped in to get a sandwich for lunch. After not being greeted we waited for the girl to stop sweeping the floor to help us. We ordered a sandwich to split and were told there wasn't any pesto available. That was okay so we choose another sandwich, a couple cookies and some drinks. We were told after 10 mins of waiting for our sandwich that the sourdough bread was unavailable and asked if wheat was okay. We waited another 7-15 mins and was told she dropped the sandwich on the floor and had to remake it. When we did get the sandwich the tomatoes in it were over ripe and mushy, the cheese was flavorless, the only thing going for it was the bread was decent as a grilled sandwich. We will not be coming back.

Best bread around bar none! Sourdough makes fabulous french toast and the wheat lavain is great as a sandwich or alongside a bowl of soup. The chocolate chip cookies are a wonderful treat after a long day's work..and oh my the holiday breads are awesome too. Love that you're out here in SE Boise!!!!

This local bakery is a local favorite. The bread is second to none. Highly recommend the Village Loaf. Their lunch options are great, as well.

I had Googled numerous pastry shops and finally stumbled upon this one. Convenient location, friendly staff and fresh everything. Came in from out of town and was looking to buy some clients some cookies or Bagels. I will stop by again and hope to have the same pleasant experience

Everything at Zeppoles is nothing short of fresh & amazing! I love their sandwiches (variety of dressings, pesto mayo is my favorite) & their scottish shortbread is the best thing ever!

Bread is good. Lady was rude! With a snotty comment of "HAVE YOU NEVER BEEN HERE BEFORE!" Cause i didnt understand that they pre-made the sandwiches. Didn't offer us any condiments for the sandwhich, and the chesse was like kraft singles chesse. Small portions,and didn't offer us drinks either. Albertsons has cheaper party subs. I did like the bread. If you go just buy the bread and go home and make your own sandwhich. Also lemon bars taste like a lemon threw up in your mouth.

I love Zeppole! Their products are always outstanding and their help is friendly. My only complaint is that today (11/04 at 11:45) the girl working the counter had long and frizzy hair that was not tied back. To make it worse, she was flipping her hair right in front of and over the unpackaged product. That's not sanitary.

Went for lunch on Tuesday. The place was disgustingly filthy, the service was horrible, and the food.....you'd be better off getting a sandwich across the lot at Subway. My first visit was no better, but I always give a place a second chance- my mistake with Zeppole.

The food is really yummy and most of the time the people are nice.... but today not so much. I’m bummed with the service I received from Austin, I’m not sure what I did to upset him but his attitude ruined my day. Other than him I’m usually satisfied after I go in but didn’t think the way he acted was appropriate. But I’m still giving 5 stars because it is a yummy place!

Great bread, and excellent service. The young lady who took care of us took the time necessary to help us with what we needed and made excellent recommendations regarding bread and scones, even though I told her we didn't live there, and that we were headed back home to Alabama that day. If we still lived there, we would definitely be regular customers.

We came in from the New York City area to visit some dear friends who took us here. OMG. The Bone Bread is so delicious, light and tasty. The scones are to die for. And the Cinnamon Twigs are scrumptious. Enjoy it all with a delicious cup of coffee. You'll thank me later.

Zeppole is clearly the best bakery in Boise, but their new location on Apple is also one of the best spots to get lunch in SE Boise. I recently popped in to grab a bite and they were offering their Jalopeneo Popper Grilled Cheese (it was a special created by one of the staff).... I kid you not, I wept tears of joy because it was so good. The staff is fantastic, the location is spacious, and as previously mentioned their food is fantastic.

I've been going there for about 10 years. Its excellent except when you get a red pepper sandwich and all it has on it is pepper and lettuce. Then you drive all the way back from work to let them know that it is missing the feta, provolone, and olives just for them to hand the rest of the toppings in s bag. Then I thought well I'll try it again. I bought a salad and it was missing half of the ingredients it said it came with. So I think the problem is maybe some lazy employees.

Stopped in to get lunch. Lolo grilled cheese was fabulous! Tomatoes basil ravioli soup is delicious. Will definitely go again! Their bread and baked goods are artisan. Look delicious

Great local bakery. The breads, sandwiches, and treats are all wonderful. Staff is friendly. My favorite is the shortbread. We often take the family here for coffee and lunch on the weekends.
