The best lasagna I've ever had! I wish I could could eat here every weekend. The chicken gnocchi soup is also amazing!
Good food but slow service
Wild West has signs around town claiming they have the best burger in Eagle- my fiance and I had to go and see if this is true... pretty much YES :) Upon looking at the menu I thought $8-10 was a little pricey, but you totally get what you pay for. QUALITY! The burger was so delicious, they also ask you how you like it cooked, a very nice touch. The bacon was cooked perfectly. The best part... the bun. It's so frickin' good, you can tell they made it in house. I am a die hard Idaho Burger fan, their burgers are more simple and inexpensive, but now I will be making my way over to Wild West every few weeks for my burger fix. Great service was also provided, and they bussed our table I really liked that for an order-at-the-counter kind of place. Great job guys!
Love this place!
Lovely experience. Johnny and his family always make us feel welcome.
Best Italian food in the Treasure Valley on Friday and Saturday nights. Followed by the best desserts. If you really want a treat go on Saturday around 6 for the live music from the two sisters.
Food is decent... service is amazing... but the food is overpriced.
Great local place for coffee and or breakfast.
Very nice!
We visited Wild West for lunch as a group of 6. We had great service and great food - fresh salad with a nice chicken breast, good salad dressing, delicious soups, and yummy burgers! There isn't a kids' menu, but my toddlers gobbled up the cheeseburger. We also were at Wild West for one of their Italian nights (only on Friday and Saturday evenings - call ahead). It was absolutely delicious!!! We haven't had food this delicious in a long time. The soups are made from scratch and amazing. My husband said the lasagna is the best he's had in the past 6 years! And the tiramisu will knock your socks off (so much espresso, yumm!). We highly recommend this place and can't wait to taste the wonderful looking pastries in the morning some time. It's a small restaurant with limited seating, so you should definitely call in advance for reservations...otherwise you may have to wait a while. But it's worth it!
Italian night is a must!
Friendly staff and a cozy atmosphere make this place great to meet up for a quick bite, or to linger for a relaxing afternoon.
Great food - croissant sandwiches are great, lots of food and the fruit option is extra but worth it - one of the best fruit sides I've had. Would highly recommend.
Italian tasting espresso - and Johnny and Jenny are the best!!
Food was nice. Hospitality was great. However my husband found hair that was cooked into the crust of his calzone.
Very welcoming place, food was fab!
Superb food & service. Wonderful atmosphere, pleasant and friendly employees.
new owners are great! Went for Italian night, nice outdoor seating
Nice muffins.
This place is awesome. Best Italian food in the area. Great drink selection and desserts. The coffee is excellent!
This is the best Italian food since I was in Florence. Most items are made from scratch. The owner is on the floor socializing with customers while his brother is in the kitchen cooking. Family owned and operated by truly nice people!!!
If you're interested in breakfast, make sure you ask how old any of the various display items are. I once decided to order the quiche, and what came back to me was obviously 3 or 4 days old... the crust was rock-hard, the edges of the slice were devoid of moisture as if it had been sitting out in the open for days and was all wrinkled down and tough at the edges. The next time I went in, I asked ahead of time how many days the quiche had been out. Points for honesty: three days. Gross. Next, lunch. I once ordered a Turkey Club to go. What I got was a turkey sandwich. I accepted it as a one-off mistake, and the next time I went in for lunch I ordered the Turkey Club again, specifically making sure they understood I wanted the "club" not the regular "sandwich". Again, received a turkey sandwich. FYI: a "club" has three pieces of bread, top and bottom toasted with a layer in the middle, and all the fix'ns stacked inside. They have a "club" and a "sandwich" on their menu... makes me wonder what the heck they're serving as a "sandwich." Want fries with that? Pay an extra $2.50 and you'll get 6 or 7 limp fries that are partially un-cooked in the middle. Fry sauce is really good though... you'll need it. I once wrote an email to the owner, Naomi, complaining about the quality of the food I was receiving. Big points for her when she offered me a free lunch. All points wiped away when I ordered a turkey club and got a turkey sandwich-- this time the bottom slice of bread was so soggy with moisture that it was virtually inedible. I threw it away. I've given this place so many chances, and have yet to experience anything good about it.
I can't say enough good things about the experience we had. Family owned and operated. When it isn't busy the owners come out to chat with you and ensure you aren't just 'another customer' There are so many homemade menu items I know I'll have to go back 3 or 4 times to try everything that caught my eye!
Such a great place. The staff are warm and friendly and want to share Naples with Idaho. From home cooked meals to desert and amazing wine options this is the place to go!!
Service was good and the beer was cold, that's about all I was impressed with. I ordered the Reuben and there wasnt enough meat to cover the bread. "I'm sorry" was the responce as she walked away happy to take my money. I'm sorry about the tip because that's part of the service that constitutes a tip.
Cool place with good drinks, food and friendly people working.
The food was great. Like your new brew I tried today. Matthew was a great server!
Great breakfast, and if you go for dinner just expect a WOW experience!
Not sure if he was the manager or not be had a light colored shirt..he was hustling and making sure everything was on point.
Food ok. Sticky buns world class!
Wonderful place to eat. We were treated to some of the best Italian food I've had. Italian food is currently served Friday and Saturday evenings from 4-9pm. The very next day I went in and had a delicious espresso. The owners and staff are very kind and offer superb service and excellent prices.
The waffle was too cold to melt the butter. The potatoes were also cold. The coffee is good and the bacon was crispy as ordered. The staff is nice.
Best Bakery and Coffee House in Eagle! Scrumptious Muffins. Warm and Cozy. Melissa has served us multiple times. She is sweet and always attentive. Just made my last visit prior to leaving the area. Hoping we can find something this wonderful in our new home town!
Really good sticky rolls, big enough for sharing.
Quick background. Ex - chef from Seattle. I ran a Northern Italian Restaurant rated in the top 5. I had the Lasagna there on Friday night. It was the best I’ve ever had. Great glass of House Merlot. Caesar salad was perfectly dressed. GO THERE!! Oh and... great Cappuccino!!!!
I had the best cup of mocha and their sticky bun is amazing! I wish I had a photo of them. Next time for sure!
Food was good, service as well.
We love this place! Especially on Italian nights, but anytime is great!
Amazing delicious food. Not your average plate of food. If you like biscuuts and gravy, try this place! There is magic in that gravy! Today I had the corned beef hash...it made my whole day!
Italian night was most enjoyable. Delightful service and delicious food. Chicken gnocchi soup was my favorite. Also tried lasagna and dessert. Everything appears to be prepared and served with pride and love.
there service sucks but food is okay. when you think they will.be slow..think again..they are slower than that!!
Interesting to learn that the menu changes completely from burgers and sandwiches to an Italian menu in the evening. No matter...the food was still good! Service was almost over-attentive. We didn't need a waitress visit every few minutes.
Great place to eat!
Pretty good burgers and sticky buns
Amazing food. The corned beef hash and eggs were so yummy!
I’ve eaten here a few times now and it’s great each time!! It’s become my favorite Saturday lunch! Hard to go wrong with anything on the menu.
This place is amazing! Great food and great service. If you like Italian food, you have to visit.
Service was good, food was excellent...
Awesome place very friendly and super delicious food!!
Nice place good services and food
Visited on "Italian Night". Food was very good.Service was a little slow but the place was packed, so that was to be expected. We will be going back. Great to have authentic Italian food so close to home.
Great lunch on the patio.
Nice atmosphere good food great service and prices
The only things better than the food were the people.
You have to try the sticky buns. Wow! Great atmosphere. Nice folks. Cozy spot.
Nothing to write home about here. Our meal was pretty basic - the California BLT with sweet potato fries. The sandwich came out with a rotten avocado on it and I had to ask for a fresh one, so that was lame. Don't serve a spotted, brown, rooted avocado! So gross! The server was upbeat and did a nice job though. BLT is a pretty simple sandwich and our was just okay. The baked goods inside look delicious so we might be back to try those but won't be eating a meal here again.
Great local coffee shop. Really enjoy meeting friends and family there. I love the table service that they now offer and the food is always good or they make it right. Naomi is a great owner - get to know her! She means a lot to the community and is always there to help Eagle!
Great food, great service! Prices a little higher, but the ambiance and personal service by Johnny and his staff made it feel worthwhile.
Awesome experiences great food & service
Greatest coffee on the planet! Very uniquely tasty and wonderful Cafe D'Arte Coffee!
Been searching for a perfect breakfast place, finally found it! Everything fresh. Very friendly staff.
Breakfast is very worth the wait. The coffee and food are great, the wait is a little excessive.
Delicious cuisine, friendly owner/operator service. Good selection.
Let me preface this by saying the food is good. It has a nice homemade style. The waiters and waitresses are friendly, and for the most part, enthusiastic. The coffee and pastries are good too. But this place... this... place. I do not know what happens in that kitchen. I am convinced it is the gates of Tartarus manned exclusively by narcoleptic sloths. It took my almost an hour to get my TURKEY SAMMICH. Not to mention the fact that I paid 11 dollars for the sandwich. Now that I'm thinking about it, I could've just gone to my house and thrown together something probably just as good without it taking an eon and it not costing me 11 dollars. That's actually a good way to describe pretty much all of the food here. "Meh, I guess." It's good, but it's homemade good. Meaning I could make it myself at home. Going on about the service issue, every time I go here it takes upwards of an hour. It isn't a one time thing. If you would just fix this simple issue, it would be 4 stars. Now if you'll excuse me I have some serious GAIINNZZZ TO MAKE. FLEXERY OUT.
My southwest burger was fabulous! Our server Raquel was friendly and kept our drinks full and food came out hot. Wonderful experience. No complaints.
Went for breakfast and the food was pretty good. Seemed really slow with customers and there was not a lot of staff present when we were there. Overall it was a good breakfast.
New menu
Down home Italian cooking. Friendly. Wine substandard.
Since the new ownership they rock it!!! Fantastic food and for me being Celiac I feel safe and haven't gotten sick. Great gf french toast and the service is awesome and very friendly!!
Was good waitress was hard to understand and atmosphere has changed since I was last there. Use to be more fun place to be this time felt like trying to be a restaurant instead of coffee place to hang
Don't miss their Italian night.
Great food just no service. Been here a half dozen times. 5 of those there was only one server. Plan on at least 30-40 minutes to get served. Too bad as it's a great location.
Food was ok, but the service was very slow.
Great service and fish tacos!
Went in for lunch on a sunday afternnon. We sat down and waited for approximately 30 minutes. There were 4 employees working and no one came to help us. It was NOT busy. No one even offered us water. Employees were in the back talking and not helpimg the customers and the table next to us were complaining about the service and the poor quality of the food. I have never written a restaurant review but i am unimpressed and upset that the employees dont value their customers. We will definitely not be back and would not recommend this establishment to anyone. Probably wont be in business much longer anyway..
The pastries here will help you reach enlightenment, seriously good.
Very good service and soup was great
YUM! Best Authentic Italian in town! molto delizioso!
Best brunch.
Decent breakfast spot in Eagle. Like the outdoor seating in the summer. Order got messed up, but we are not people in a hurry. Enjoyed the coffee as well.
Growing up here I’ve always struggled to find consistently good breakfast. I’ve been served sour milk one too many times. But since discovering Wild West my husband and I have been nothing but happy! Delicious hearty breakfasts, great lunches, and Italian night is TO DIE FOR. It’s a treat when we can take work off for it. DEFINITELY give this place a try!!
Love everything about this place. I especially like talking to the Italian owners.
Growing up in an Italian family, my sisters and I are always skeptical about trying Italian restaurants. Especially local. Momma Italia will not disappoint you. Best Italian in Idaho hands down. I’m still trying to figure out how to tell grandma I found better lasagna...
Absolutely phenomenal! I am stuffed. Great Italian cooking!
Great place, great atmosphere. The coffee is excellent, as is the food. We prefer breakfast, and outdoor seating when the weather is right. Bring your computer charged, not a lot of access to outlets.
Italian Dinner is excellent!!! Perfect, low key, delicious for Eagle Idaho!!!!
I love the Caprice sandwich and salad also the dessert was excellent.
We absolutely love it here! Great service, amazing food, and a tasty espresso bar. The sticky buns are my favorite. Check them out.
The new owners are doing a great job! Very good Italian food, friendly service. Reservations suggested!
Super good food. Really great family service
Went back for breakfast after a great experience the first time there for breakfast. Service was slow, toast was cold, coffee was awful, and my wife's eggs were very very under cooked (egg snot all over her plate). Thought we had found the perfect local undiscovered breakfast joint. The search continues.
I went there for breakfast 4 days ago. 2 eggs, 1 piece of limp toast, only 2 pieces of bacon, home fries were cold, and I was never offered a choice of flavoring for them, like I heard being offered to many others. Service was just OK. And for all that, they charged me $12.82!!! Never, ever again ~ bring back the old owners!!!
Very good burgers! Perhaps the best in the entire valley. Fry portions are a bit small though.
Great food and service!
Amazing. Felt like I was in some old Italian grand mothers kitchen. 6 of us went and all differnt dishes. All amazing. Gnocchi unbelievable. Wonderful time. Will be back.
Friendly service and authentic Italian food. The lasagna is delicious as are the gnocchi!
Gross food, terrible service, awful owner, disgusting kitchen. Would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. I wish I could give it NO stars.
The food was good but the service was a little slow. They did cater to my one year old really well and brought me little extras for him. Love he outdoor seating and the servers are all very nice, they just aren't in a hurry and seem a little inexperienced.
They have a nice bakery, but they're expensive and service is slow.
We were very impressed with the service. We stopped by mid afternoon on a Friday. So, there wasn’t much of a crowd. But our server tended to us very well. Everything was quick. The coffee was good. The food was served hot. We received the check and to go boxes and we were on our way. I would definitely recommend this place. The food is good. We had a cheeseburger and a grilled cheese. The bill was about $35 for two people. We also had the lemon bar which was delightful. Apparently they serve breakfast all day long until 4 PM and then after 4 PM they have Italian food. I will go back for the Italian food one day. So I will have to report back on that.
Delicious pasta, all homemade!!!
California Cobb salad is divine, with great coffee selection, friendly staff, great atmosphere, and the patio is an experience all it’s own.
This business just changed ownership. So, waiting to see how the menu changes & see if the good food quality still remains. At this point, we are in a holding pattern before making a good decision.
Great food great people ,real Italian
This is a great little place with exceptional food and the best cappuccino since I visited Italy. I will be back for sure!
Nice people and good food, just please loose the creepy 1980's manikin standing on the sidewalk!! No one uses those things anymore.... especially for a breakfast joint
Was not impressed
Had dinner tonight at the NEW Wild West. Had heard good things about the new owners and their Italian dinner on Friday and Saturday nights. We booked a table for six tonight and found it very busy when we arrived. Johnny, the owner, was very knowledgeable about the wines that they served and helped us choose the perfect wine for a meal. The appetizers were fantastic. As a matter fact, my friend mentioned that his selection was “life-changing” and one of the best things he had ever tasted. Turned out we all ordered something different for our entree. My gnocchi was absolutely spot on. Everyone thought their meal was delicious. We then met Lena who makes all of the desserts. I have traaveled extensively through Italy, and the tiramisu was the best I have ever tasted, bar none. Said with regret to the Nona who made it up in norther Italy. Lena has hers beat! Dominico was helpful and informative and generally lovely to talk to. Friends, this is a family-owned business. And I mean family owned! The food is all fresh and House made. The menu has a good selection. Everything is made with love and care. This is a tiny hole in the wall Italian eatery that is not to be missed. Granted, another Italian restaurant in Eagle? If it’s this good, hell, yes! Support Eagle business and eat here soon.
Good food overall and nice atmosphere. Not a large menu but great for a date night!
The food is outstanding! Our dining experience was 5 star from beginning to end. Everything was made from scratch and from the finest ingredients. You MUST visit this family run restaurant!!!
Great coffee and food.
Alway great service. Fresh baked goods and coffee is excellent. Looking forward to trying their meals!
Good food, small cozy place.
Claims best burgers in Eagle, but far from it. Place was pricey and don’t expect more than a couple of fries and one dipping cup of ketchup. Oh, and ask prices. Didn’t think a can of coke would cost me $1.75. This is twice I been here; first and last.
Soups and sandwiches are the bomb creamy chicken vegetable soup 5 star. Great service.
Excellent home cooked Itailian food. Service is excellent and friendly as well
I came in for Italian night and the Tuscany pizza was delicious! The ingredients are freshly made and the crust is soft. Caesar salad was really good as well as the affogato (ice cream strangled in espresso). The service is always awesome too. I called in for a reservation to make sure I could get seating for 3 and we all loved it.
We were there for Italian night, and left with our bellies full and oh so happy. Delicious and authentic. We each got a different plate and shared, and all were very tasty. Must give it a try.
Disappointing always order 2 pork tacos with amazing sweetpotatoe fries and was just told menu changed and it's now 3 with no fries.. I can't eat 3 by myself and loved your fries :(... sadface
Half the time my order is right... half the time it's wrong. Just not a fan.
Best chai tea latte in Eagle!
Great coffee and service!
The bakery was amazing, delicious coffee with wonderful service!
The address on Google Maps is wrong, its not 5928, its 83 E State St. We went there for lunch. Ruben was very average, and it was $11.50, not $9.50 as listed in the online menu. They list fish tacos on their menu, but they don't serve tacos anymore. The service was slower than molases and they messes up my friends order. The $1.75 can of Diet Coke was a nice touch. Not horrible, but also nothing to come back for.
Very enjoyable dining experience with good food, reasonable prices and wonderful service. The staff makes you feel like you're part of the family... and some amazing tiramisu.
Atmosphere and delicious food.... great service.
A locally-owned downtown coffee shop with good pastries and prepared food menu.
Great coffee here!
Portions could be larger.
I’m Italian. I just moved in Boise on 2017. If you want to eat some REAL Italian food, this is the ONLY place where you need to go. No doubt. 100% Italian food. Good job guys!!
Italian night was fantastic. Authentic door from Southern Italy all.made from scratch with love. The entire staff is family and welcome their guests with a smile. We will be back again and again.
Really good burger. Corn tortillas could be toasted for a bit more flavor on the tacos.
Cori and Ashley we're excellent servers and the food was amazing. My dad is from Alabama and their corned beef hash is as good as he used to make, rest his soul.
Sticky bun was old, dry, and tasteless, had corned beef and potatoes that was advertised as hash. If you’re going to be upscale, learn to cook!
This place is amazing I thought man I'm pregnant and are picky but they did an amazing job at their menu selection especially the California blt amazing I love it
We just sat there for a half an hour, after calling in to reserve a spot, and got completely ignored, several tables sat down after us and had there food before we were ever offered menus! What a friggin train wreck!
Like opening a Cracker Jack box and finding out the prize is a gemstone... and not a rough one. My parents (who are local) said the food was authentic Italian. But, this is not the level of authentic I was expecting. Any modern trattoria in Italy would be blessed to serve food this good. Carbonara, proper pizza, boscaiola, pasta with squid ink, real espresso... all to die for. Do not leave without having dessert. If I am within 300 miles of this place I will be there. Eagle, you are very lucky to have this establishment.
It’s not just food, it’s an experience. The ambiance and service are top notch. The owners were so personable and friendly. My wife lived in Italy for a year and eating here was very nostalgic for her. Definitely deserving of 5 stars.
It looked busy so we decided to give it a try. The burger was super dry and not cooked to what I was wanting and to top it off they had slow service.
Yumm!! Amazing coffee and great food! My favorite place to eat in Eagle for a weekend brunch.
Italian night is fantastic. Only serve dinner on Friday and Saturday nights. Owners are very engaging and the food is true Italian. We will be back often. Great beginning to end. Tiramisu was the best I have ever had anywhere.
Best coffee shop in Eagle!
Kind staff. A bit small, not very inviting for a coffee shop.
This is a must stop if you want amazing food, amazing service and amazing people to be around.
Good. But menu online is not what is served!
