Haven't eaten a bite here that wasn't absolutely delicious! This time it was just an old-fashioned hamburger and some if their famous pear pie. I'd write home about the pear pie, and guess you would too if you tried it. The prime rib is the best around these parts, and the chicken fingers are likewise among my favorite in the region.

What an incredible little dinner in the country. We stopped here for the first time after visiting Jump Creek For and loved it. The outdoor area want even open yet and it was still incredible. The food was better than good and the atmosphere was so fantastic. Cheeseburger and fries was our choice and it was excellent. Strawberry lemonade was ok, it was a little different being made with pink lemonade. Their selection of jams at the register is a must. We took home Carmel Apple Butter, Raspberry Chocolate, and Strawberry Lemonade flavors. The first is incredible in Belgium Waffles. The later two are great on anything bread, especially PB&J. You can sample any of their varieties of fudge, which was great since we were too full to try dessert. The fudge is amazing. We even picked it a cute sign for the kitchen that read, "This kitchen is for dancing." tl;dr This place was so neat I forgot to take pictures, and I'm a photographer.

Homestyle cooking. Had a portabello sandwich with fried potatoe wedges. Marionberry pie heated up for dessert. Then on the way out got a square of home made dark chocolate fudge.

We stopped here on our way home from Reno. I've traveled around the world and eaten pie all over Europe and the US. This was the best pie I have ever had. I ordered the cherry and took it home. I ended up licking the container it came in. Our dinner was fine, but the pie was fantastic. This was back in January. I will make a point of coming here on my way to Reno in the future.

This time we were able to sit outside and it was perfect for a June evening. A couple of weeks previously, we stopped in to purchase bakery items for dessert at home and they were just as yummy as they looked in the case.

The food is always good here. There's typically a wait, but it's worth it. It's one of the few places I can find good finger steaks. Their onion rings and fries are good, and the pie is delicious! It's a bit of a drive to get there, but it's located in wine country, which is another great plus!

Nice quaint little place. The food was good but it was very noisy and our server didn't check back in a reasonable amount of time after our food was served or while we waited. Prices are a little high for the amount of food received. Side salad in not an option with meal but an add on. This is fine but should have been offered when taking our order.

The food was very good once we finally got it. We were there over an hour before the the waitress checked to see why our meals were taking so long. You would think that if you are serving people that came in long after we did that something must be amiss. Turns out she lost out ticket. No comping of any part of our meal was offered. Not how we expected to be treated and our guests from out of state did not have a good opinion of Idaho hospitality.

This is where you want to go where a lengthy drive through beautiful wine and orchard country with open ended day staring with good breakfast just might save your marriage. The morning drive, excellent food, conversation, gift shop, homemade fudge with possibility of crossing the Snake river into Marsing and hiking to Jump Creek Falls or hike to top of Lizard Butte might just smooth things over and even get you a kiss. Don't be in a hurry and you will not be disappointed.

Most definitely will be back. The bacon stuffed mushrooms are simply delicious. Service was great it felt like going out to a friends place and having a wonderful evening between to communication with the waitresses to the fun ambience. The beignets are a definite delight. Food is on point! Delicious. Great kid friendly place or a place for a date. It's beautiful around the restaurant and the wait staff is so nice. My son was crying after a long wait and mix up and the waitress brought out a snack to him since he was hungry. Sometimes the wait time to be seated or for food can be longer. The restaurant is small and quaint.

Ordered the shrimp salad, stuffed mushrooms, mushroom swiss burger and lemon truffle pie. It was all really good. The Pie was absolutely amazing. The shrimp was a little over cooked and the stuffed mushrooms could have used a little salt and pepper. The over all food was very good and the pie amazing. We will definitely return.

Saturday took a drive for breakfast arrived 10:40. Breakfast until 11 am. Young man said do you mind lunch. We are backed up on breakfast and changing over to lunch. He went to ask if still can serve breakfast and was told no. Young man did ask if that ok and we said no we came for breakfast and we are there before 11 am left at 10:50 I have never heard anything so stupid!

We enjoyed this place a lot. Our friends told us what a great place it was so the six of us went and enjoyed a wonderful time together. They food was excellent and reasonably priced. They don't take reservations but even though they were busy we had no trouble getting right in. Our friends advised us to use the parking lot just south of the facility and there was plenty of room to park. We will definitely be going back and take other friends and family with us as we are able.

The reason I gave a 3 instead of a 4 because of the prices there far to high. The food is very good although the menu is very limited. The service is the best of the bunch. Very friendly & prompt, their always available when you need something. There's also a small gift shop with homemade fudge for sale with free samples given on request. Bring the prices down a little and the selection up alot, this is a 4 star restaurant easy. Seating is limited so come on a week night.

This is one of my fav local restaurants. It's just a neat place with character. I love to look around when I come in the door & see what is being sold. They make amazing fudge & always offer samples. The Pesto pasta is my fav with chicken. It's on the dinner menu but they usually let me order it for lunch. The staff is very friendly & the interior has a retro vibe. The only bad thing there is the drinking water so I usually enjoy the strawberry lemonade! I can't wait to go back!

Loved how they offered to put blueberries or chocolate chips in my pancakes. Pies look amazing will be trying them next time. I had the blueberry pancakes yummy. Great atmosphere also they had this cool game where you pull a topic out of a jar and talk about it with your family. And the decor was top notch. Also notices they had grapes or some sort of berries growing above the entrance. They also have a killer back patio that would make for a great party.

It was a sunny & cool day, really made to order for a drive in the old Vet. Went south of Boise towards the Snake River and thru the farming country which still exists! Besides a leisurely drive we did have a destination. The Orchard House is always a must stop. It was busy but the staff made you feel right at home. We both had a superb meal of finger steaks and salad. Of course, I wasn't about to walk away without desert. Had a slice of coconut crème pie and a scoop of ice cream. Oh my! It doesn't get any better. One of the best 100 mile drives in quite some time.

I ordered a $24.00 rib eye and it was horrible. The cook prepared it perfectly medium rare as I ordered, however, it was very thin, dry, and tasteless. I had to pour A-1 all over it to give it some taste. Service was excellent as was the wine selection. When I left I bought a chocolate chip cookie and it was hard as a rock. I strongly suggest they buy meat from some place like Greenfield's because that steak was so bad like a coffee shop. That was in no way a $24.00 steak. Felt very ripped off.

This is a great place. My first time there with some friends for lunch. I was able to order from the breakfast menu for lunch. Our server, Kim, was so much fun and helpful. I highly recommend going and enjoying the fun atmosphere and great food. I bought a peanut butter fudge square and savored every bite.

WOW! The food is outstanding and the prices very low. I've had burgers, grilled cheese and pesto, and half of their pies so far - everything has been top notch. If they moved into the city they could double their prices and still be packed.

Great local restaurant with terrific service and great food. My wife is thrilled they have many GF options available on their menu. They offer terrific fresh bakery items for dessert or to go. Orchard House also supports many local products for sale including a great variety of local wines. We always look forward to driving out to that area and stopping for a nice meal.

This is place should be more well known than it is. The outside seating is a beautiful spot and very relaxing. The appetizer, bacon stuffed mushroom was very good but needed a shade more salt. The highlight of the meal was a peach ginger chicken salad. An original recipe that was gorgeous and delicious. It is a summer special so you had better go quick if you want to partake. The other entree was a prime rib sandwhich. It was very good with thin sliced prime rib so made for easy eating. An excellent beer list makes this spot the perfect stop on a tour of Canyon County wine and fruit country. To top it off they have a bakery (fudge, pies, cinnamon rolls, etc). We got a pear pie to go. One does not normally see pear pie on a menu but this was executed well. I am told the coconut cream pie is their best. Great wait staff and decor! We will definitely be back!

When I first visited The orchard house, I was surprised at how far out of the main town it was. However, the food and customer service more than make up for the drive. The first time I went, I got the fish and chips and they practically melted in my mouth. I could not stop raving about the food. And of course, we had to try their infamous pear pie and it was delicious! The atmosphere in the restaurant is cozy and quaint with a home grown, country yet modern feel. The servers were very attentive and nice and made sure we were having a good time. I live the little details of this place including the nice easy going soundtrack and the "conversation jar" with slips of paper with conversation prompts. The food was priced well for the quality and everything is locally sourced. Overall, this restaurant went above and beyond my expectations and I will definitely be returning.
